The cost of a night nanny in Holly Springs, NC can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Holly Springs, NC, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

As a dedicated Newborn Care Specialist with over 30 years of hands-on experience, I bring deep knowledge, compassion, and calm expertise to families during the earliest and most tender stage of life. My career began as a nanny in 1994, but I quickly found my calling in newborn care, supporting families through the fourth trimester with an emphasis on sleep shaping, feeding guidance, and emotional reassurance. I’ve worked extensively with singletons, twins, and high-order multiples, including newborn quadruplets, and pride myself on creating customized, evidence-based support that adapts to each family’s needs and values. My goal is always to ease the transition into parenthood with a steady hand, a warm heart, and deep respect for each family’s rhythm. I’m passionate about continuing education and remain current on best practices in infant care, sleep science, lactation support, and postpartum recovery. Families who work with me describe feeling truly seen and supported, often telling me I bring both professionalism and magic into their home. Whether I’m offering overnight newborn care, helping establish healthy sleep habits, or empowering new parents with gentle education and reassurance, I show up with empathy, precision, and a deep commitment to nurturing the beginning of a new life story.

We had the pleasure of having Amanda as our doula and can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She was the calm and gentle presence I needed during a very long labor. She was everything I needed, from guiding my husband to know how he could help me, position changes and mental support. We also did her birth class, which was wonderfully educational and made me excited to welcome my baby into the world!

Tara was our doula during pregnancy and childbirth and let me just say, I’ve gained a lifelong friend, first. She was absolutely amazing! Not only is she caring/nurturing, she knows her stuff. She always offered solutions and was one call away whenever I had questions/concerns. During pregnancy she met with us for prenatal visits & I loved most that she didn’t just care about me and my well-being, she got to know my husband as well! She catered to the FAMILY needs and not just mommy! During birth, man where do I even begin. She was amazing and I truly don’t know what me or my husband would’ve done without her there. It was our first time and she coached us BOTH through it and we all got milkshakes after haha but I didn’t sign up for postpartum services, but as blessings would have it, I ended up overpaying and was able to get about 5 hours of PP help and MY GOODNESS, Tara was sent by God and you’re not going to tell me otherwise! She washed bottles & pump parts, she COMPLETELY REORGANIZED my nursery to make it most efficient for us and that took a HUGE weight off of my shoulder. She washed clothes for us and everything. Mind you, all of this was while actively asking questions about our well-being and overall health. I wouldn’t trade her for the world and as we call her “Titi Tara” is the best and if I should be blessed to have more children, I would do the journey with Tara a million times again!!!

Hiring Josie from Living Water Doula Care for my second C-section was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My first C-section was an emergency and left me with significant birth trauma and anxiety that I didn’t fully understand until my second pregnancy, but then I met Josie and she completely transformed my experience. Before my C-section, she helped me process my first birth and identify where my trauma was rooted. She also helped create a calm, peaceful home for me to return to after delivery. On the day of my C-section, Josie was my anchor, and recognized my anxiety even when I tried to hide it and made sure my concerns were heard. I was terrified of the spinal, but she advocated for me with the medical team and encouraged them to explain each step, helping me feel safe and informed. Her calming presence changed the entire atmosphere of the room. She also supported my partner, a first-time dad, helping him feel included and at ease. After surgery, I experienced intense pain, and Josie continued to show up for me, even coming to the hospital in the middle of the night. She helped me manage my pain through breathing techniques, physical comfort, and emotional support. When I felt overwhelmed after being moved to a smaller room, she once again advocated for me and helped me feel safe. Coming home was just as meaningful. Josie had prepared my space, making it feel warm, peaceful, and restorative. Her postpartum care helped me slow down, release guilt, and focus on healing. Josie doesn’t just support birth—she honors it. She didn’t just support me through my C-section; she helped me heal from past trauma. Before hiring her, I wasn’t sure a doula was necessary for a C-section. Now I can confidently say it was one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made. Because of Josie, I no longer fear growing my family, and I’m forever grateful for the role she played in my healing journey.

I have assisted families with support during spontaneous vaginal birth, scheduled inductions, TOLAC/VBAC, planned and unplanned C-sections. I have assisted families with unmedicated and medicated births. I am also a Certified Postpartum Doula and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (IBCLC Student). If you are on the fence about including Bridgette in your birth and postpartum journey, let this be your sign to absolutely do it. As a first time mom, she provided care and love for me and my family in ways I didn’t even know I needed. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes a team based approach in every decision. I had no qualms or hesitations about placing my trust in her because at the end of the day I knew she had my back all the way from her birth/breastfeeding classes to every step throughout labor. Although my birth experience did not go the way we had planned, I wouldn’t be able to look back at my experience as positively as I do if not for her. She genuinely felt like a big sister and best friend throughout the whole experience. Even my husband, as he recounts our birth experience, sings her high praises and felt incredibly supported by her as well. Because of her, he even goes around telling new parents that they have to get a Doula because of how amazing Bridgette was. I genuinely feel like we were meant to cross paths and now my life and experience as a parent is better because of her. Seriously, she’s amazing. You would be remiss not to have her on your team.

I can't thank Savannah enough for her incredible support throughout my pregnancy journey. From the moment I told her about my pregnancy , she provided invaluable guidance on creating a birth plan tailored to my preferences and needs. Her knowledge on postpartum healing and breastfeeding was a game-changer, offering practical tips and emotional support every step of the way.One of the most impactful aspects of her care was the open discussions we had about circumcision. She provided thorough information and empowered me to make an informed decision that felt right for our family. We had a wonderful experience with Anna, who supported our family overnight for several weeks. From the very beginning, she made an effort to arrive early, learn our routine, understand our baby’s needs, and make sure she knew how we preferred things to be done. Our baby could sometimes be quite fussy at night, and she always handled those nights with patience and calm. She was attentive, dependable, and caring, and we felt completely comfortable having her care for him overnight. It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands, and having her support allowed us to get some much-needed rest. We’re very grateful for all of her help during those early months and would absolutely recommend her to other families looking for a kind, reliable, and caring postpartum doula.

We had an amazing experience having Grace as our doula! She carries herself with confidence and joy as she helped us navigate preparation and birth. Grace always made herself available to me as a first time mom who had lots of questions. She was quick to respond and willing to help me learn! I think one of the many blessings from Grace, was that in our delivery room she created a really peaceful and beautiful environment by setting up a diffuser and candle lights in the room! Grace was a really valuable part of our first birth experience!

Those early days (and nights!) with a newborn can be beautiful, overwhelming, and everything in between. Through Melodies in Bloom Doula Services, I offer both daytime and overnight support. My goal is to support you in a way that feels natural and empowering, like having a good friend who happens to know a lot about babies! You’ve got this… and I’ve got you.

Recent review

Inviting someone into your home overnight to care for your newborn is an incredibly vulnerable thing, and from the very first time Trisha stepped through our door, we trusted her completely. Even before our daughter Lucy was born, Trisha was thoughtful about checking in as we approached delivery, making sure we felt supported and letting us know she was there for us. That thoughtfulness has continued throughout every part of our time with her. Each night, Trisha starts by genuinely checking in with us and catching up on Lucy’s day - how she ate, how she slept, how she was feeling, and anything else that might be important for the night ahead. And of course checking in on me, which was so appreciated. Then she takes Lucy and gives two exhausted parents one of the greatest gifts you can receive during the newborn stage: a full night of sleep knowing that your baby is being cared for by someone you completely trust. It was the highlight of our (and Lucy's!) day when she pulled in. Trisha has the perfect balance of being incredibly helpful, attentive, and involved while also understanding that she is entering someone else’s home and family during a very personal season of life. She never feels intrusive or too much - instead, her presence immediately makes our home feel calmer. We go to bed knowing Lucy is in wonderful hands and wake up to clean bottles, prepared formula, a happy and rested baby, and the feeling that someone has genuinely taken care of our whole family. Words don't express the gratitude! She is also incredibly dependable. Trisha is always punctual, makes an effort to check in between nights, remembers what is going on with Lucy and our family, and has been thoughtful and flexible when it comes to scheduling. When you are navigating the unpredictability and exhaustion of life with a newborn, having someone you know you can count on means so much. Those details are such a reflection of the level of care and professionalism she brings to her work. I actually had to tell her she no longer needed to text me if she was running 2 minutes ahead of behind, but that's just how effective she communicates. Most importantly, Trisha is THE BEST with Lucy. There is nothing more reassuring as a parent than seeing how comfortable your baby is with the person caring for her, and it is so clear to us that Lucy feels safe and loved with Trisha. She is patient, nurturing, dependable, and truly gifted at what she does. As our contract with Trisha came to an end, we of course loved her so much that we ended up extending her contract - weren’t ready to say goodbye ... and we still aren't! She has become such a special part of our newborn experience, and we will always be grateful that she was there during these early weeks with Lucy. Trisha is truly a gem. We love her, trust her completely, and feel so lucky to have found her. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her caring for their baby, and Lucy is especially lucky to have had Trisha caring for her. We've already lined her up for future care for BOTH of our girls.
