I am a passionate doula and yoga teacher who loves helping people find balance and strength in every stage of life. As a birth and postpartum doula, I specialize in natural births and believe every woman should have the opportunity to birth on her own terms. I provide evidence-based education, emotional support, and hands-on care, empowering families to make informed decisions that align with their values. With a calming presence and deep respect for the birthing process, I ensure each person feels supported, heard, and in control of their experience. Above all, I am a devoted mother who cherishes time with my son. I find joy in the outdoors, spending my free moments with loved ones, on my yoga mat, or enjoying peaceful walks. My mission is to create nurturing, empowering spaces where people can grow, connect, and feel supported on their journey.

Mya is amazing! She did an excellent job going over my options (both in terms of birth interventions and her support measures) and learning my birth desires and preferred comfort measures during prenatal appointments. She took the time to interact with my children so they’d feel comfortable with her coming into our home. Once we knew baby was on the way, she arrived quickly and more than prepared for all my potential needs and desires. When labor was hard, I felt comfortable expressing my feelings, and Mya knew exactly what to do and say to encourage me and physically help me through the discomfort. My mother made it a point to call me the next day and say that Mya has a warm yet calming energy, and that she was impressed with how anticipatory Mya was (noticing when I might need water, a tens unit adjustment, a comb to hold, etc. and acting right away). I even overheard my midwife telling Mya how impressed she was and asking for business cards so she could recommend Mya to her clients. This was my third child and third unmedicated birth, and I can say with confidence that—even as an experienced and thoroughly educated mother—Mya made a significant, positive difference in how I experienced my labor. She was a trusted friend who moved through the experience with me, soothing me, supporting my family, and effortlessly helping to coordinate small details like facilitating pickup with the placenta encapsulator. I appreciated her knowledge, work ethic, and servant’s spirit. If I ever fall pregnant again, I will be hiring Mya, and I highly recommend you do, too.

Hi! My name is Rebeca Gedeon and I am a certified birth doula located in Weatherford, TX. I love supporting moms in all labor and delivery locations, and with any kind of provider. I've supported over 80 families in my 4 years of serving as a labor doula. My first experience with birth was when my mom delivered my brother under the supervision of a traditional midwife over 24 years ago. I have since had 6 children of my own, and those labors and deliveries fueled my passion for supporting moms. I have personal experience with twins and NICU. I have supported moms through their dream births as well as birth plans that needed adjustment for medically necessary reasons. One of my biggest strengths is supporting mom in what they wish, but also being able to slow down and explain what is going on if plans have to adjust rapidly. I will labor with you at home if you desire, even if you plan to transfer to another location, and I will follow you into the OR if needed and desired. I am not only a certified labor and birth doula, I have added training with body balancing techniques to help you and your body navigate labor. I am familiar with Spinning Babies techniques. I am a StillBirthday student doula. I am a childbirth educator and also a placenta encapsulation specialist. I am also a Christian doula and love to incorporate quiet prayer and intercession into my care when it is desired. I've watched the Lord work miracles for families and believe in the power of prayer in the labor space. When I am not at a birth I spend my time homeschooling my children and playing with my children. I also greatly enjoy floral work, knitting and crocheting, and baking!

I found Cynthia in a panic around 36 weeks pregnant, after my original doula didn’t work out. I had accepted the fact that I wouldn’t have a doula & it was probably too late to find someone. Cynthia heard my story and quickly took me under her wing. She helped me with prepping for labor, gave me tools to get the baby in an optimal position, & as a bonus, became a bff to my toddler! This was my first home birthing experience so I was so thankful she was willing to help me. When it came time that I went into labor, Cynthia was quick to be here & assist me. I labored extremely quick & there is no way I could have handled my wild labor without her. She kept me calm & reminded me I could do it & to breath through the contractions. She helped me clear my head space & stay grounded. I will forever be thankful for Cynthia & highly recommend her! If I decide to have more babies, I will definitely be using her again.

With our first baby we did not have a doula and the second time around I knew I needed one. Keeley supported me from the beginning. She would check up on me and just be there when I needed some reassurance. When I needed a medical procedure early in pregnancy she offered be there. She went above and beyond even before I was in my last trimester. When I had to be induced she showed up for me even before active labor even started because I was having anxiety and she could sense I needed the support, she arrived before midnight and stayed with us until after delivery which wasn’t until 5 pm. She supported my wants and need for this labor process and she wasn’t afraid to be my advocate with the nurse and doctors. She was always very professional. She made the labor and delivery process a whole lot less stressful. Even my husband said this was completely different than our first and it was the best choice we made. If you are looking for a doula Keeley is your person. She will be there to support you to advocate for you and she will always show up for you. I couldn’t ask for a better person(doula) to be there.

Amanda Mejia Popular: among the most-viewed childbirth educators in Texas, last 60 days

I am Amanda, I am a wife, truth loving, mama of 5. I have had 2 unexpected cesareans and 2 successful vaginal homebirths, and 1 gentle cesarean. For 11 years I have been advocating, teaching, and rooting for moms in their pregnancy, births, through postpartum and in their motherhood. I am a homeschooling/stay at home mother, homeopathic medicine believer, Jesus and wildflower lover, and lover of all things old, vintage, unique, and with a little character. I was and am a young mom and started off with little to no knowledge on how to have a baby, let alone how to take care of my baby, what to expect in those seasons of my life, and how to advocate for myself and family. Through education, tools and other wise mothers I was able to know what my mom-gut was leading to me do and I am now able to walk confidently on a path that is best for me and my family, and I am so excited to share that with you and to help you do the same!

My husband and I absolutely loved this childbirth education class with Amanda! It was incredibly practical, educational, and interactive, and we left feeling so much more equipped and confident than we did going in. The handout booklet was especially helpful and gave us something tangible to reference as we continue preparing for birth. We also really appreciated how personable and welcoming the environment was. It felt comfortable and judgment-free, which made it easy for us to ask questions and have honest conversations. Everything was presented in such a friendly, warm, and engaging way, and we never felt like we were just sitting through a lecture. We’re so grateful we took this class and would absolutely recommend it to other expecting couples!

I’m Riley, the doula behind Root and Vine. This work is my calling — rooted in a deep respect for the strength and sacrifice of women, the transformation of birth, and the sacredness of new life. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, trained through DONA, and support families across the DFW metroplex with compassion, evidence-based knowledge, calm presence, and a deep trust in the process of labor. I am an English teacher of seven years and my husband and I have one son. My path to birth doula work began with my own birth experience; having a doula during my pregnancy was so helpful to me and made me feel much more knowledgeable and in control of my birth. Unfortunately, the birth of my son did not go as planned for many reasons: my doula could not attend my birth, I preeclampsia complications, and my son was in a breech position. Birth is a transformation, but it can also come with trauma. My experience compelled me to become a doula to hopefully help other women have better birth experiences than I did. I’m also passionate about postpartum care; in the time after giving birth, I felt vulnerable and, although I had endured a major physical and emotional event, I was not often the focus or concern. Even amidst so much joy and love for my son, people quickly begin asking about the baby and forget to ask about the new parent. I want to be the doula that I wish I could have had! The role of postpartum doula is to mother the mother, to educate and encourage new parents, and ensure the new family is thriving together. My love of caregiving and my passion of supporting other mothers is combined in the role of postpartum doula.

My passion as a doula is to serve, support, educate and encourage women during their journey to motherhood and beyond. My goal as your doula is to help and support you through your pregnancy and fearless journey to motherhood with care and compassion.  I'm dedicated to informing, guiding, empathizing, listening, and empowering you to birth the way that's right for YOU!  You are bringing forth new life, and it should be experienced in a caring, compassionate, and calming space.   I support all births including non-medicated, cesarean, water, home birth, birth center, medicated, and hospital. I am a certified birth and pregnancy after infertility doula. I’m passionate about supporting all women during pregnancy and labor, including women who conceive after walking a long road of fertility struggle, as I, myself, have endured my own fertility journey of trying to conceive during an infertility diagnosis before conceiving my two IVF miracles!

Tiffany is an amazing doula! Having a doula who is so passionate & encouraging really helped me during such a monumental experience in my life. I was in labor for 41 hours and she was there the entire time, alert & encouraging! She ensured I was as prepared as possible and planned for any unexpected changes. She is God fearing and prayed with my partner & I as we had to make some hard decisions during labor. Not only was she there during my pregnancy but has been a continuous support postpartum! I highly recommend her to anyone in the DFW area!

I have been a doula and childbirth educator since 2004, and have attended over 600 births to date. I love to help my clients feel informed and encouraged on their journey to parenthood. I attend births in the hospital, birth centers, and at home. Many of my clients want assistance and support for an unmedicated, low-intervention birth, while others want physical, emotional and/or informational support for their birth with "all the bells and whistles." I would love to visit with you about your hopes and plans around the special day when you meet your baby.

Delilah has been our AMAZING doula for 3 births now, I feel so incredibly blessed to have found her back in 2014 when I was pregnant with my first child. From our very first conversation I felt supported and more confident in my abilities to achieve my birth goals. Throughout that first pregnancy Delilah was so helpful as I prepared for labor. We also took her childbirth class, which was great. The day of my birth she was spectacular, providing physical support, information, and overall just a wonderful addition to our birth space. Of course we went on to hire her for our 2nd and 3rd births and the support we received was always exceptional. From helping with provider recommendations while trying to conceive, to emotional support during pregnancy to in person support at the births, I couldn't have asked for a better doula.
