We have 2 newborns. One is 2.5 weeks and one is 11.5 weeks. My husband is going back to work, and I had a c section hysterectomy with the birth of my daughter on July 10th. I am needing assistance caring for my newborns, as well as basic household duties as needed. My insurance Cigna covers, so I am looking for in-network options.

I plan on giving birth in a hospital. I consider high risk due to my age and weight. I’m 10 weeks, no issues or concerns at this point. I want support, education and help manage all that come my way. My max is $1500-2000

I would like to do a home water birth. I don't know a budget because I'm unsure how much these things may cost and if insurance may be able to assist. I don't want to be medicated I would like a relaxing environment and comforting coach to help me get through it.

Hello, my little baby is hitting a week old on Thursday. Daddy and I are really struggling with the routine. The baby stays awake for very long periods of time and is very fussy, we are not sure what we are doing wrong. My last birth was a freebirth at home, i would prefer to have a medical team of some sort on hand for a homebirth this time. I am currently uncertain on a budget. I would like to plan a homebirth if pregnancy remains low risk. Labor in a quiet, calm environment. Dim lighting. Minimal unnecessary interruptions. Freedom to move, walk, squat, kneel, or change positions as desired. Access to water for comfort measures and possible waterbirth if appropriate. I would prefer non medication comfort measures first. Water immersion, position changes, breathing techniques, massage and counter pressure, and encouragement from support people/team. I would like to avoid unnecessary interventions when i and the baby are doing well. Informed consent before any non-emergency procedures. I would also like to have clear explanations of risks, benefits, and alternatives before decisions are made whenever possible. For delivery i want to be able to push according to my bodys urges rather than directed pushing if safe unless i ask otherwise . Freedom to choose birthing position. I want the baby on my chest immediately if both of us are stable. The golden hour is very important to me. I want delayed cord clamping. I want my partners involved in the delivery and cutting the cord. I would also like to deliver our placenta naturally if safe. I would like to initiate breastfeeding as soon as possible. Routine newborn procedures delayed until after bonding when medically appropriate. Keep mother and baby together whenever possible. Transfer to hospital if medically necessary. Preference for clear communication throughout any transfer. I would prefer a provider who is open minded to odd family dynamics and who has been practicing for at least 5-6 years. I am 28 years old, this is my fifth pregnancy and hopefully fourth birth.

Hello, I am looking for someone that accepts Medicaid. I have recently moved from South Carolina to Lakeland Florida. This is my first child and honestly I don’t really know too much about midwives and doulas, I just know I want an at home birth and a trusted supportive midwife by my side. I’ve tried all the birthing centers in the area and they are all booked in August. I thank you for taking the time out to read this. If you are unable as well please point me in the right direction with some recommendations please I really would appreciate it.

We plan to give birth in the hospital. I can’t have an epidural because of my spinal fusion so we want to try a natural birth. I don’t want to give birth on my back and would like to discuss other options for more natural birth positions. We want to breastfeed but also use a bottle so dad can do feedings. Open to understanding including formula.

We are expecting our first baby around November 24, 2026, and plan to deliver at The Baby Place in St. Petersburg. We are looking for a highly experienced, certified birth doula who has attended at least 50 births and is very comfortable supporting hospital deliveries. Tania is currently leaning toward having an epidural, but we want someone who can support her decisions without pushing a particular type of birth. We would prefer a doula who is calm and reassuring but can also be confident and assertive when appropriate. We want help understanding our options, communicating with the medical team, and making informed decisions if the birth does not go according to plan. As first-time parents, we are looking for guidance on how Jason can be an effective support person rather than being replaced by the doula. We would like someone who can help us determine the best division of roles during labor and adapt based on what Tania needs. We would like the package to include: • One or two prenatal planning meetings • Childbirth education or a birthing class • On-call availability around the due date • Continuous support throughout labor and delivery • At least one postpartum follow-up visit • Breastfeeding or lactation guidance, either directly or through a trusted referral Experience supporting first-time parents, anxiety during labor, epidurals, hospital interventions, efforts to avoid unnecessary interventions, unexpected C-sections, and early breastfeeding would be important to us. Spanish fluency would be helpful but is not required. We have not established a firm budget yet and would like candidates to provide their full pricing, services included, payment schedule, cancellation policy, backup-doula arrangement, and any additional costs.
