My name is Kendra, and I’m looking for a doula to support me through my second pregnancy. I’m an African American female, planning a VBAC after an emergency C-section with my first, which healed well. I plan to birth at Lakeland Regional and would really appreciate emotional support during labor. I am a working waitress and I have Medicaid, so I’m hoping to find someone who accepts that. i’m planning a hospital birth. i need to be seen & listened to by doctors, nurses & other hospital staff. i need a more time to make a birth plan but i will have one. i prefer a doula who has at least 3 years of experience, but one who will advocate for me would do just fine!! im 25 this is my 2nd child. im a mom to a 3 year old boy who i would like to still feel loved.

We are looking for a guide on this journey of pregnancy and childbirth. We are new to Florida and do not have family in the area. Light cleaning, cooking, and supportive house tasks are a plus while husband is at work or night support so mom can rest overnight.

Hospital, Orlando Health / Watson clinic new location on Lakeland Highlands 300-500 dollar budget I want to have the freedom to stay active during labor / use a birthing ball, low lights and soothing music (I've been using a hypnobirthing app), no epidural unless absolutely necessary or requested, request a lactation consultant, delayed umbilical cord clamping. That is all I have for now but would like helping in maybe adding more.

A little bit about me! I’m 24 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I am 29 weeks pregnant and I’m having a boy. I am giving birth at a birthing center called summit maternity care center in Port Charlotte, FL. They’re a faith based business! I plan to do an all natural birth and hopefully do it in water. I believe we were made to be fruitful and multiply as the Lord said, I believe our bodies were made to do this. So I’m looking for someone with the same values & beliefs. Someone that is encouraging, supportive & knowledgeable. I believe you would be a perfect fit for us. My estimated budget would be no more than $1000, realistically need a lower budget than that.
