Beyond birthwork, I am a certified peristeam facilitator trained through Steamy Chick, following my own positive experiences with vaginal steaming for menstrual wellness. In 2021, I earned certification as a lactation support counselor, with a focus on bridging gaps in breastfeeding support for Black families and fostering a more inclusive, informed community. I am also a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Advocate, dedicated to providing compassionate, affirming support for individuals and families navigating grief and loss, an area of care that is deeply needed and too often overlooked. As a support group facilitator, I create intentional, trauma-informed spaces where participants are encouraged to share openly, build community, and move from isolation toward connection and strength. Currently, I am expanding my knowledge as an amateur herbalist, reconnecting with the healing traditions of my Black Southern heritage and grounding my practice in holistic wellness. I may not be able to change every outcome, but I believe deeply in my ability to make a meaningful impact in my community, one birth, one family, and one moment at a time.
