In 2021, I earned certification as a lactation support counselor, with a focus on bridging gaps in breastfeeding support for Black families and fostering a more inclusive, informed community. I am also a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Advocate, dedicated to providing compassionate, affirming support for individuals and families navigating grief and loss, an area of care that is deeply needed and too often overlooked. As a support group facilitator, I create intentional, trauma-informed spaces where participants are encouraged to share openly, build community, and move from isolation toward connection and strength. Currently, I am expanding my knowledge as an amateur herbalist, reconnecting with the healing traditions of my Black Southern heritage and grounding my practice in holistic wellness.
