I plan to deliver at Sentara Leigh hospital, I would like help creating a birth plan. I do know that I would like to have a natural birth, possibly in water, but I don't want to be restricted to the hospital bed.

My goal is to have as natural of a labor as possible while still being in the hospital environment. I’m looking for someone who can provide encouragement, reassurance, and calming support throughout labor, and help me stay focused and comfortable using natural pain-management techniques such as breathing, movement, positioning, and relaxation. This is very important to me because I want to feel supported, confident, and empowered during the birth process. I would love someone who can help advocate for my preferences if needed and create a positive, calm atmosphere during labor. As far as budget, I’m not completely sure yet, but I’m open to discussing options and finding something that works.

Military hospital is where I plan to give birth. I would say our estimated budget 2 thousand. We want to have an epidural, push when my body feels it not when told, immediate skin to skin, delayed cord clamping. Experienced enough to help with an easy birth.
