From an early age, Rophe was drawn to birth work and the beauty of the experience. Rophe is passionate about advocating for couples and giving them the education they need to make informed decisions to take charge of their births. She believes strongly in the beauty and strength of a women's body and its intended design for birth. Melissa’s earliest memory of delighting in the birth process was as a child visiting the Science Museum. She remembers watching videos, one of a mother dancing in her labor room, another surrounded by her young family, while another escaped into a birthing pool to focus inwardly. It was not until Melissa became a mother herself that she realized just how empowering the birth space can be.

Hi, I’m Olivia! I’m fluent in Portuguese and deeply passionate about supporting and empowering women during one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. With a background in childcare, I’ve always loved working with children and families. My path shifted after becoming pregnant with my twins. Experiencing a high-risk pregnancy during the height of COVID opened my eyes to how much support is often missing for women during pregnancy and birth. That experience inspired me to become an advocate—helping women find their voice, feel confident in their choices, and stand firm in the care they deserve throughout their birthing journey. As someone who is half Brazilian and half Portuguese, family is at the heart of everything I do. It brings me so much joy to support women as they grow their families in ways that feel right and meaningful to them. I’m truly honored to help guide you through one of the most beautiful and transformative experiences life has to offer.

Working with children and their families has been my life’s work, whether being a center-based teacher or in-home care. My biggest and greatest accomplishment has been becoming a mother to my two boys. Being a postpartum doula and lactation educator is another way to share in these magical times and help families adjust to life with a newborn. Having experienced vastly different prenatal, birth, and postpartum experiences with both of my sons, this lit the passion in me to help others during this time when things can be unexpected. Training through CAPPA (Childbirth & Postpartum Professional Association) solidified all the reasons why I want to continue to help support families and be a part of their amazing journey as their family grows. Informed by my experience seeing the homebirths of my two younger siblings (and being born at home with a midwife myself), I believe that everyone giving birth deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected, no matter where they give birth. Hi! I'm Naomi. I am a Certified Practitioner Midwife choosing to focus on providing birth and postpartum doula support. I keep my Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) cards active at all times. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula. I believe that if women/birthing persons and their babies were truly supported in the way they most need, we would have peace on Earth. I decided to become a midwife and doula because I want to make the world a better place, and I believe the way to do that is to bring compassionate support to mothers and their babies. I received my training through Maternidad La Luz (birth center on the US/Mexico border) and the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). I have attended around 150 births and have provided care for many newborns. I currently run Little Angel Doula and work part time as a midwife assistant for a local home birth practice. My philosophy centers around trusting the birthing body and trusting the process of transition into parenthood. When I was first learning how to navigate life with endo, I needed someone who could inform, empower, and walk with me through the unknown. Now, I’m honored to be that person for others as a doula.
