i am reaching out for my niece, she gave birth tuesday. terrible experience, labor for 24 hours then a c section- they sent her home .2 days later. and she has been back to er twice. it seems like postpartum preeclampsia, but they haven't admitted her either time . her bp is just beneath too high, she has terrible abdominal pain, headache nausea, vomitting and a terrible rash. her husband is holding down everything with the baby but she is struggling. i was wondering if you or another doula you might refer , could help her about what's normal, when to advocate for herself, she has no real family here. she's a mess. and very scared. the dr at er was very dismissive

I am planning to give birth at Summerlin Hospital. My budget is fully covered through my insurance, Anthem Medicaid. My birth plan is to use comfort measures such as hot pads and to labor as naturally as possible, progressing as far as I can before considering an epidural. I am open to one if needed but would like to avoid it if possible. I require an English-speaking provider. I am looking for someone who is experienced, compassionate, and supportive of a natural labor approach. Certification and hands-on delivery experience are important to me. The care recipient is myself as a first-time (or expecting) mother and my newborn infant. I will be breastfeeding/formula feeding and will need guidance and support with newborn care including feeding, soothing, and safe sleep practices. For additional duties, I am looking for support during labor and delivery as well as postpartum care. This includes assistance with the baby after birth, newborn care guidance, and general postpartum recovery support. Help with light tasks related to baby care would also be appreciated. My insurance provider is Anthem Medicaid.

I am leaning towards delivering at a hospital. This is our first. My insurance (UHC) states they cover doula services. I would like a natural birth with minimal interventions. I am 30 years old and my fiance is 38. We have no special needs. Would like assistance in preparing for birth as well as coaching during birth.
My husband and I are wanting to do a water birth , however my last 2 births have been at hospitals . So we are seeking a doula or midwife to help us through the process .
I plan on giving birth in a hospital. Doula must be fully or mostly covered my Medicaid. My birth plan includes no epidural or Pitocin, optimal cord clamping. And at least an hour of skin to skin.(as of now that’s everything I’m open to suggestions) Provider must be knowledgeable and empathetic.
I plan to give birth at Renown hospital in Reno, NV. My estimated budget is $1,700. My goal is to have a low-intervention, unmedicated vaginal birth if it is safe for me and my baby. I understand that birth can be unpredictable, and I am open to medical interventions if they become necessary for safety. I would appreciate clear communication and informed consent before any procedures or medications whenever possible. The more years of experience the better. Preferably 3+ years
