The cost of a night nanny in Pearland, TX can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Pearland, TX, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Hi, I’m Melanie Powell—certified doula, childbirth educator, author of From Fear to First Cry, and the founder of both Little Flower Birth Services and the non-profit Under His Wings Collective. As a mother myself, I know firsthand that bringing a child into the world is one of the most profound, transformative journeys you will ever take. But I also know it can bring up deep questions, past fears, and medical anxieties. That is why my life’s work is dedicated to walking beside women and their partners, ensuring you never have to navigate the medical landscape alone. Through Little Flower Birth Services, my practice is rooted in three core pillars: Advocacy to help your partner step into their role as your protector, Sanctuary to guard your peace with a protective "Baby Bubble," and Autonomy to honor your God-given intuition through a trauma-informed framework. Whether I'm teaching evidence-based physiological birth classes, coaching partners in our signature advocacy workshops, or offering quiet, steadfast support in the delivery room, my goal is to transform your anxieties into your greatest strengths. Beyond my private practice, my heart for community led me to establish Under His Wings Collective—a non-profit initiative dedicated to expanding access to sliding-scale and free childbirth education, alongside trauma-informed virtual doula support (such as our Virtual Bloom Package) for Medicaid-eligible, low-income, and high-anxiety mothers who deserve dedicated care regardless of circumstance. When I’m not supporting families across the DFW Metroplex, leading virtual education cohorts, or advocating through the collective, you can usually find me baking something nourishing for loved ones or cherishing quiet moments with my daughter. You deserve to enter your birth room feeling strong, informed, and deeply supported. I would be honored to walk this sacred journey with you.

What made us choose Melanie as our birth doula for our first birth experience was the fact that she was Catholic and she offered a lot in her birth package. She was extremely helpful all throughout my pregnancy, especially on the day of my delivery. She helped us map out a birth plan and she did a great job educating us. During my labor, Melanie coached me through exercises she prepped us with to deal with the contractions. After I got my epidural, I was still experiencing pain on my right side. Melanie spent hours lightly shaking the area to get my daughter to move. It really helped me deal with the pain. She also helped the nurse with getting my daughter to turn face down to prepare for birth. Melanie offered me the comfort and support I needed in the last hours of my labor. Because of her support, my husband was able to get some extra sleep so he could be present with me and available post-birth. I would strongly recommend Melanie as a doula.

Hello, I'm a queer and trans full-spectrum doula working in Houston, TX. Full-spectrum means that I am trained and experienced in supporting families through the whole range of pregnancy experiences, including trying to conceive, pregnancy, labor, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and/or abortion. All of my work is grounded in supporting folks in creating the families they want, when they want to, and how they want to. This looks like: accompanying you through the many decision points in your pregnancy and parenting journey, providing emotional and logistical care throughout this time of great transformation, and making sure you are connected to the resources you need to make the best decisions for yourself and your family.

We didn’t know we needed Chloe until we met her. It wasn’t until very late into my pregnancy, sometime around week 38, that we reached out to her for post-partum doula services and she was very flexible in accommodating us. As soon as we met her, we knew she was the person who would be now part of our journey as first-time parents. She was caring, attentive, listened to our concerns, and graciously supported us through every transition. I had a complicated delivery and recovery, and her calming and reassuring presence allowed me to heal as my husband and I learned how to care for our newborn. She was very flexible in creating a schedule that adapted to our needs week by week, and always brought nourishing food, sometimes bringing extra for other family members. Looking back, the early weeks of post-partum were extremely difficult mentally and physically since I had undergone a C-section, but her support was essential in getting us organized, learning how to prepare bottles, showing us positions to feed the baby, techniques for soothing, how to baby-wear, how to handle visitors and protect our boundaries, guiding my husband on how to be a helpful partner, and even be a crying shoulder when things got tough. Beyond being a doula, she’s also helped us with some babysitting now that our baby is older. It is comforting to know that our baby is cared for by someone who met our baby from birth and was familiar with our home dynamics. Hands down, she is our #1 option when we need someone to take care of our baby so we can have time for self care - which is also something she emphasized since day 1. If this was a voice message, it would consist of 10-15 minutes of nothing but good stories and praises for her - so this is our short and sweet version. We cannot recommend Chloe enough as a doula. She’s the best!

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Fontanne Bassey. She cared for my baby, Amelia, and was truly exceptional in every way. Fontanne stood out immediately for her professionalism, warmth, and deep expertise in newborn care. Fontanne specializes in working with newborns and demonstrated remarkable knowledge of baby development and activities. She thoughtfully introduced engaging, age-appropriate routines and executed them diligently and on time. She was always punctual, dependable, and communicated with me clearly and consistently throughout the day. Fontanne kept detailed track of Amelia’s naps, feedings, and general well-being, which gave me complete peace of mind as a parent. I’d love the opportunity to support you on this

Hanna was my doula for the birth of my second child and I can’t say enough good things about her. She took the time to listen to my history, my goals, anxieties/worries, as well as my expectations of her as my doula. During our meetings, she always provided lots of helpful information regarding exercises that can help my discomforts during pregnancy, meditation, labor positions, ways my husband can help me throughout pregnancy as well as during contractions, etc. All of this helped me prepare mentally, physically and emotionally for the big day. Most importantly, her calm and grounding presence and the emotional support she provided during labor was so helpful in keeping me and my husband stay focused and motivated while feeling safe and supported. Thanks to Hanna, I had a very positive birth experience and I was able to give birth to a healthy baby girl! She continues to follow up with me regarding breastfeeding which is helpful. Hanna truly cares about her clients I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!

I am a birth and postpartum doula, NICU mom, and a military wife, whose passion for this work was shaped by my own early motherhood experience. I had my first baby halfway across the country during COVID, farm from family and community. That season taught me how powerful it is to feel truly supported, and it became the foundation for the way I show up for other families. I have had the honor of supporting friends and families through both home births and hospital births, and I love walking alongside parents through the many different paths birth birth can take, with a professional foundation in Kinesiology, I understand deeply how the body functions in pregnancy and birth, and how movement and positioning support physiological labor and how to help reduce strain and injury during this transformative process. I blend evidence based education with holistic, intuitive care to offer support that is both grounded and nurturing. At the heart of my work is a simple intention. I show up for mothers the way I would want someone to show up for my daughter one day. With warmth, compassion, and a steady presence, my hope is that every family I support feels seen, held, and never alone as they step into parenthood.

Highly recommend hiring Courtney as your doula. Our doula we initially hired had an emergency so we ended up having Courtney as our backup doula and she did not disappoint! We were a little nervous having a backup doula and somebody we’ve never met but Courtney was so personable, very easy going and very much was prepared for our birth plan and things we discussed with our doula prior to going into labor. Courtney was very encouraging, supportive and really helped my husband and I during such an intense and vulnerable experience. Thank you Courtney for what you do! It’s very clear that she loves what she does and it translates into working with her clients.

Exceptional Postpartum Support – A True Blessing to this first time mummy. I cannot express enough gratitude for Teneka and the incredible support she provided during my postpartum recovery. As someone who had stitches, her care and assistance made my healing process so much easier. She was always attentive to my comfort and well-being, ensuring I had the time and space to rest while also supporting me in caring for my newborn. One of the things I truly appreciated was how proactive she was—she never waited to be asked. She would top up baby and mum supplies without hesitation, making sure I always had everything I needed. She also made sure I ate properly and stayed hydrated, knowing how important it was for my recovery and milk supply. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail made such a difference during this critical time. I contacted Monisha through Bornbir when I was 36 weeks pregnant. After speaking with her I knew that she was the doula for me. She was very informative and helpful and the initial conversation was like I was talking to someone I already knew. She came over and helped my husband and I through exercises and techniques for pain management prior to labor and answered all of the questions that we had. My goal was to have a natural birth with no medication and she helped tremendously in accomplishing that goal. I could not have done it without her. She also helped tremendously with postpartum assistance with the baby when my husband needed to go back to work. She even did my hair! I couldn’t imagine a better experience.

Zaira was such a blessing to our family. My husband and I tell everyone she was worth every penny and more. She gave us so much confidence going into the delivery of our son and we never felt alone. She went above and beyond during the entire team process and even still checks in on our son. The first time we met Zaira she drove all the way to our house (a long drive for her) and before she did anything else she prayed with us in our living room. We knew from that point on she was who we would choose as our doula. She was not only there for me and my questions, she gave assurance to my husband as well and equipped him to be the best partner throughout our delivery. From prenatal visits, to random texts, delivery, and even postpartum Zaira looked after our every need. I highly recommend her to anyone looking.
