Hello! My name is jabria but I go by Rosalind. It was a nickname given to me in the Army. My background is 12 years of medicine as a medic in the Army. I am still serving in the Army national guard. I have my certified personal training certification and group fitness certification; and I am currently enrolled in exercise physiology through Concordia University, in pursuit of practicing medicine as a physician assistant upon completion of my bachelors in Fall 2026; and masters hopefully 2028. Amanda was absolutely amazing and exactly the support we needed during our birth experience. We made the decision to hire a doula only about three days before we were scheduled to be induced, so we didn't actually meet her until the night we arrived at the hospital. This was our first baby and we were pretty nervous, but Amanda was so warm and friendly that she immediately put my wife at ease. It honestly felt like we'd known her for years. She was incredibly attentive throughout the entire labor and made sure we had everything we needed every step of the way. Her support didn't stop after delivery either. She checked in on us regularly postpartum, came to our house, and connected us with specialists she trusted, including a lactation consultant who turned out to be wonderful as well. If you're considering a doula for your birth, I can't recommend Amanda enough. Once you meet her, you'll have zero doubt she's the right person to have in your corner.
