As first time parents planning a home birth, we knew having a doula would be important navigating all things pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. From our first time meeting Rebecca through a zoom call, we could feel her genuine love and dedication she has for birth work. After a very long, hard labor I birthed our daughter into the world in our bedroom. I truly could not have had the home birth I envisioned without Rebecca by my side the entire time. If you are looking for a doula with many years experience, who knows when to observe, and when to make suggestions during labor- Rebecca is your gal! She'll be your biggest cheerleader and a steady force when you need it most. We couldn't be happier to have Rebecca as part of our care team, and made all the difference in our birthing story.

As a same sex couple, my wife and I were nervous when choosing our birth team because we wanted to make sure we were treated with love and positivity as we prepared to bring our baby into the world. Rebecca is that doula! Hiring her was one of the best things I did for my labor and birthing experience. She made us feel love from our very first meeting! She checked in with both of us regularly throughout my pregnancy reminding us that we were never alone. When the big day finally came she was in communication with my partner for hours guiding us along until it was time for her to show up. She never left our side. My labor was long. My birth didn't go as planned. Both were hard and emotionally challenging. Having Rebecca there with us every second of the way helped get me through. Her gentle presence and support was always there. Even after it all - through my postpartum journey she was there with words of kindness and understanding when I was feeling those intense postpartum feelings. I couldn't have done any of it without her! I am grateful for her role in our story and for the beautiful photos/video she captured for us. I've watched that video 100 times already and love that I have it to cherish and to be able to relive that day over and over forever! Thank you, Rebecca! We love you!

My birth didn’t go as planned. I was originally working with another doula and the morning I went into labor, my doula let me know that she had another mom she was supporting who was also in labor and a little further along. Fast forward a few hours, in walks Rebecca to triage where my husband and I meet her for the very first time while in active labor. She was warm, grounded, and immediately stepped into action. Rebecca was such a blessing to have as a part of our birth story. Her encouragement and reassurance gave us peace of mind as first time parents. Though we met Rebecca through unexpected circumstances, we wouldn’t change a thing and couldn’t recommend her support enough!

We are incredibly grateful for the support and guidance Rebecca provided throughout our pregnancy journey. From the very beginning, she was knowledgeable, compassionate, and always available to answer our questions—no matter how big or small. She walked us through every stage of pregnancy, helping us feel informed, empowered, and prepared for the beautiful day our baby arrived. Her calming presence and expert care made all the difference, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better partner during such a transformative time. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any expecting family.

Rebecca was an amazing doula throughout pregnancy, delivery, birth, and postpartum! She is an excellent communicator and my husband and I always felt heard. As first time parents, we don't know what we'd do without her. We felt very comfortable around her even in such a vulnerable environment. She genuinely cares for clients. Would definitely use her services again for baby # 2. Thank you Rebecca!

There aren’t enough words to express how truly grateful my partner and I are that Rebecca was a part of my birthing experience. Initially we had hired a different doula who was unfortunately out of town when I unexpectedly went into labor. Rebecca subbed in for us and although we didn’t have her from the start of my pregnancy, her warmth, compassion, and attentiveness ultimately made us feel so confident in the last minute switch. We met Rebecca while I was 8cm dilated, as I didn’t know I was in active labor (OOPS), and she did an amazing job at talking me through transition and advocating for my needs to the staff. God had a change of plans for us and knew she was exactly what we needed. Thank you Rebecca!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rebecca. From the very beginning, she seemed to know exactly what I needed before I even asked. She gently guided my husband through how to support me, which made us both feel so much more confident and connected during labor. She advocated for me at moments when I didn’t even realize something was missing, making sure my needs were always met. On top of all that, she provided such deep emotional support when I was nervous and unsure. One of my favorite memories is her capturing the sweetest photo of my husband and I at the very end. That was a moment I’ll treasure forever. Having her by our side made my birth experience feel safe, supported, and truly special. I am beyond grateful for everything she did for us.

We met Rebecca during labor(!) because baby girl was a week late, our planned doula was out of town, and she came highly recommended by her. In hindsight it was definitely meant to be! She was a proactive, prompt, and supportive communicator over text when I began showing signs of early labor and began active labor. She assigned me a great evening routine to get contractions picking up, and continued checking in with me throughout the day and evening. As things picked up, I called her and her voice was so compassionate. She arrived at our home in perfect timing and also made the right judgement call of when it was time to go to the hospital (1st time mom here, so very grateful for that!). She even drove us to the hospital because my husband was on crutches (that’s another story lol). Rebecca has a realm of calm, kindness, peace, and respect for birthing about her that immediately filled our home when she arrived. She was proactive at suggesting comfort measures for me (aromatherapy, offering herself to be leaned on, etc), which I appreciated. She was also a proactive advocate for us in the hospital and managed to get into our labor and delivery room before we did, filling the tub without being asked. Of course every birth has so many things outside of anyone’s control, but my labor experience was far more positive than I anticipated. I attribute a great deal of the success at meeting my birthing goals to Rebecca’s support and presence.

I had such a lovely experience with Rebecca as my doula. After my husband & I met her in a coffee shop to get to know each other, we knew she was our doula right away. Her presence was that of strength & knowledge, while being extremely calming. During the process of making our birth plan, she helped us to stay grounded in truth to what we wanted & was realistic about possible changes that could present themselves. When it was time to deliver, our beautiful birth plan, went, well...right out the window to be honest! But we had all the information & we had Rebecca so everything was handled with grace for the situations at hand. I was so glad to have had her strength to lean on! Thank you Rebecca for everything.

From the moment I met with Rebecca for our initial meetup to see if she could be a good fit as my doula for my last pregnancy, the stars literally aligned. Her energy is extremely warm, open, and very honest which I can thoroughly appreciate. Rebecca's style of communication shows her humanness and also her professionalism when it comes to her work. Throughout the weeks leading up to the day I went into labor, Rebecca was always checking in on me ensuring I was still in a healthy state of mind and body. Her in-person visits to my home were so helpful and my son and dogs loved her. What's interesting is, I didn't think my daughter would show up early, I was trying to see if she could make it by her due date or even later so I told Rebecca, she should go out of town to meet her newest grandson who was recently just born as well. And of course the moment she was out of town for just that one weekend my baby decided she wanted to arrive. So that night I called Rebecca and was describing my symptoms to her and she had a very good feeling I was definitely in active labor. Luckily, she had already set up a backup doula for me. Fast forward, the backup doula was the perfect individual for me during the birth of my daughter (even though Rebecca is obviously the perfect first choice). Everything went the way it was supposed to and Rebecca even went out of her way to visit me and my baby during our longer stay at the hospital. She also worked her magic on my placenta and brought over the capsules and tincture for me soon after I was home from the hospital. Without a doubt, Rebecca is a doula I'll forever be grateful for.
