Hello Families! My name is Keyz The Wellness Doula. I am the owner and operator of The Indi Women's Club, a women's health practice focusing on health equity and combating maternal health disparities. In addition to being a certified birth and postpartum doula, I am a registered nurse, childbirth educator and breastfeeding educator. It is my strong belief that education and preparation can reduce fear surrounding birth and make for a positive birth experience. My birth philosophy: birth is a natural physiologic process that should be witnessed and supported rather than governed or controlled. Anyone involved in this journey should always aim to keep the woman/birthing person's bodily autonomy intact. Hey there, my name is Caroline Patterson and I'm a Certified Birth Doula under DONA. I've been a Doula since 2018 and absolutely love what I do! I've attended births in hospitals, homes, and birth centers. I have an herbal body care business and am deciding to pursue my path to becoming a midwife soon, as well. I live in Oregon House which makes for a unique location to be able to provide services in both Yuba and Nevada County and surrounding areas. I believe in holding space for my clients and making sure they feel safe, seen, and heard. I empower you by supporting you in making your own informed and intuitive decisions—you know your body and baby better than anyone else. I’m Katie Galvin, Postpartum Doula and Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutritional Practitioner. After my own experience with “postpartum anxiety & depression,” (which was really undiagnosed postpartum thyroiditis) I decided to become a functional practitioner to help other moms navigate common postpartum hormonal changes using a holistic, body-mind-spirit approach to pregnancy and postpartum. Conventional medicine often fails new moms by dismissing their concerns or offering pills as the only solutions to common (but not normal) symptoms.
