Hi I'm Diane Nader Giresi, I'm a DONA Trained and Certified Postpartum Doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor and a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Trainer. I realized with the birth of my first child, that I had to include a wellness plan for my overall wellbeing. I believe we go through different journeys throughout our lives and with each journey, we face challenges. My goal as a postpartum doula, is to provide my clients with individualized non-judgmental support that encourages them on their journey as new parents. Continuing education is always at the forefront, so I can provide the most up to date evidence based research and resources. I attend many workshops and conferences on the ever changing protocols on tongue-tie and oral restrictions. I provide extensive lactation support if choosing to breastfeed. I help develop strategies for success, back to work plans, weaning, pumping, and flange fitting. In addition to newborn care, understanding cues, and newborn sleep patterns. Support looks different for each family. I listen to your needs and together we form a plan that serves your new family unit.

Being in postpartum has made a lot of things more difficult but Diane's help has made one of those hardest things so much more enjoyable and approachable. She was extremely non-judgmental, very attentive, and very observant. I thought all was lost and the meltdowns would be normal,,but after Diane's visit, both baby and I had a much easier time approaching breastfeeding.

I am a compassionate and experienced Newborn Care Specialist with over 20 years of experience caring for newborns and supporting families through the beautiful but sometimes overwhelming newborn stage. I am originally from Brazil and speak both English and Portuguese. Families describe me as loving, patient, trustworthy, and calm, and I truly treat every baby as if they were my own. My goal is always to help parents feel supported, rested, and confident while creating a safe and nurturing environment for their baby. I specialize in overnight newborn care, helping establish healthy sleep and feeding routines while giving parents the opportunity to recover and rest. I believe every baby is unique, and I work closely with each family to respect their parenting style and individual needs. Building strong relationships with families is very important to me, and many of the families I have worked with remain close to me long after my contracts end.

As soon as you meet Carla it will be incredibly obvious why you will only want her to be the one taking care of your newborn child. It is evident that her natural instincts and overall persona is exactly what every mom wishes for when they are going to select someone to help them with their newborn baby. Not only is Carla warm and patient, but she is knowledgeable and experienced, without being bossy. She almost floats around your home and brings you into a bubble of peace from the second she walks in. I have never had such peace of mind as when Carla helped us. Because of this I have referred Carla to every single friend when they share they are pregnant. Only a lucky few have reached out early enough to secure her. She is exceptional. If I could have nobody else help with my family ever it would be her. You will see when you meet her. Her passion is babies. She will know exactly what you and your family need from her and she senses it. Her talents are unmatched. She is truly exceptional. I would only have another baby if I could have Carla. I could never settle for anyone else. From the second she walks in the door Carla is somehow equally caring and professional and does not miss a beat.

My doula instructor, Michelle Gabriel-Caldwell, was truly exceptional. From the very first class, she set the tone for an open and supportive learning environment that encouraged honesty, curiosity, and self-growth. Her teaching style was unlike any other instructor I’ve had—she didn’t just read from a textbook. Instead, she brought the curriculum to life by sharing real-world experiences, lessons learned, and genuine passion for birth work. It was evident that she lives what she teaches and cares deeply about preparing her students to succeed not just in theory, but in practice. What stood out most about Michelle was her honesty and transparency. She didn’t sugarcoat what it means to be a doula or the realities that come with supporting mothers, babies, and families. She was upfront about the emotional and physical challenges that can arise, as well as the deep sense of purpose this work can bring. Her authenticity made me feel empowered to embrace every part of this journey the beautiful moments and the hard ones too Each lesson built upon the last in a way that was practical and meaningful. She encouraged dialogue, welcomed questions, and valued every student’s perspective. Her patience, compassion, and professionalism inspired me to become a doula who leads with both skill and heart. She reminded us that being a doula is not only about assisting during labor and birth, but also about advocacy, education, and emotional support that uplifts the entire family. The PHEI Doula Training Program under her instruction exceeded all expectations. Michelle Gabriel-Caldwell has a gift for teaching that blends knowledge, passion, and purpose. Because of her guidance, I completed this training with confidence, clarity, and a deeper commitment to serving women and families in my community. I am grateful for her dedication to empowering future doulas and for helping me discover my calling in this meaningful work.

With over 20 years of experience supporting families across six countries, I bring a deep understanding of the diverse ways cultures nurture parent-child relationships. My journey into birth work began as a Health Community Worker, advocating for immigrant Latino families in New York. Later, while working at a mental health agency in Connecticut, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that nurturing, consistent, and responsive caregiving has on a child’s development. This realization fueled my passion for family support and led me to become a Birth and Postpartum Doula, ensuring families receive guidance and care from the very start of their parenting journey. Three years ago, I earned my certification in Perinatal Mental Health, allowing me to further support families through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and culturally informed space for every family I serve.

Martha brought a level of joy, reassurance and experience to our daughters birth we didn’t even know we needed. Every step of the way through my pregnancy she checked in on me and provided the guidance I needed. Our birth changed pretty rapidly but Martha’s positivity and expertise made the entire experience more enjoyable. We were able to really focus on the birth while she helped guide those around us on decisions we made beforehand. Pregnancy doesn’t just stop after birth, the emotional and physical work continues after you’re home as well. Martha is there by your side through it all! She helped change my postpartum experience immensely, I cannot thank her enough. I will forever recommend The Knitting Doula!

It has been my privilege to serve countless families throughout my career, many of whom have welcomed me back for each of their children and graciously referred me to their family and friends. I believe that truly exceptional postpartum support extends far beyond newborn care. Every family deserves a calm, reassuring presence, thoughtful guidance, and the flexibility to adapt to their evolving needs. My approach is intuitive, discreet, and tailored to each family's unique routines, preferences, and parenting philosophy, allowing parents to recover, rest, and embrace this extraordinary season with confidence and peace of mind. Hi, I’m Ryann, a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and proud mom of four. I live on Long Island, where I’m raising my family and serving growing families in the community I love. My journey into motherhood has deeply shaped who I am and how I show up as a doula. I’ve experienced firsthand the joy, intensity, vulnerability, and transformation that birth and postpartum bring; and I carry that lived wisdom into every space I enter. Before stepping into this work full-time, I spent 13 years in corporate healthcare and hold a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. That experience gives me a strong foundation in organization, communication, and advocacy - skills I now bring into supporting families with clarity, confidence, and care. I’ve always had a passion for supporting women - for advocating when they don’t feel heard, for empowering them when they’re unsure, and for holding space when things feel overwhelming or unpredictable. My mission is to remind every mother that they are worthy of care, choice, and support — no matter how their journey unfolds. Whether you’re planning a home birth surrounded by loved ones, delivering in a hospital, choosing a cesarean, or navigating an unmedicated or medicated birth - I meet you where you are. There is no “right” way to bring a baby into the world, and I tailor my care to support your unique story, values, and vision. Through Four Roots Doula, I offer evidence-based education, emotional support, advocacy, and hands-on care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My role is to be a steady, calm presence - someone you can trust to show up fully, without judgment, with compassion and clarity. I am also CPR certified, adding an extra layer of preparedness and safety to the care I provide. Birth is beautiful. So is the strength that rises in you when you’re supported. I’d be honored to be part of your story.

Katia has been my postpartum doula and caregiver for my baby boy since February 2025. She consistently takes initiative in ways that truly lighten my load as a new mom. One moment that stands out was when she noticed I was juggling baby care and chores—without me even asking, she washed the baby's clothes and bedsheets, took out the trash, and even helped cut vegetables for dinner. She always notices what needs to be done and jumps in with such care and thoughtfulness—it’s clear she’s not just doing a job, but genuinely wants to support and nurture. This was my first baby, and I had never used a doula service before, so I was initially skeptical and a bit anxious about having someone new in our home during such a vulnerable and emotional time. But from the very beginning, Katia made me feel at ease. Although she has extensive experience with babies, she remains open and flexible—listening carefully to my needs and respecting our preferences. She remembered all the little things I mentioned and adapted her care accordingly. Even now, with my baby being 8 months old, I still turn to Katia when I need someone trustworthy to watch him for a few hours. That’s how much confidence and comfort she’s brought to our family. Both my husband and I are deeply grateful for her help—having Katia as our doula has been such a positive and reassuring experience. She made a lasting impact on our early journey as parents, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side.

Hi there, Friend! I became a doula, because I realized my passion for prenatal care, birth, and postpartum support was not departing after my own experiences. My goal is to be able to help and support other women in my community. I desire to have them experience excitement and confidence in themselves that I hope leaves them encouraged. I have been through three pregnancies myself and have walked alongside many friends and family members journeys. I live in the tranquil countryside of Northern NJ, about 5 minutes away from the borders of Upstate NY and PA and only 90 minutes away from NYC! My husband of 10 years and myself were born and raised in Sussex County. We love where we live as it is quiet, beautiful, and allows us to continue our dreams of one day having our own homestead. We look forward to raising our three beautiful children here as well. As a collegiate business major and previous elementary/middle school educator, communication, organization, learning, and teaching are very important to me. Volunteering my time frequently allows my empathetic attributes to selflessly serve others and walk alongside my neighbors, peers, friends, and family. In my free time, I love being outside and active with people near and dear to me. I love to garden, take care of our chickens, cook, bake sour-dough, play board games, take hikes, and watch the occasional football game! When it is just my husband and I, you would find us reading or enjoying a nice conversation by the fire or outside in nature on the deck! I cannot wait to connect with you and hear about your journey into motherhood! Through communication, support, and love I am confident and hopeful to be able to come alongside you so you can experience strength, dignity, and laughter in all your maternal moments! XOXO

Krystal is incredible - she prepared me and my husband so well for birth. She educated me on so many facets of pregnancy that I was able to make educated decisions about what was best for me and baby! Just like I needed my husband by my side for the labor and delivery, I needed Krystal there just as much. Look no further - Krystal should be every expecting moms doula ❤️
