My journey began in 1991 as a professional nanny caring for children of different ages. In 2000, a dear friend introduced me to the wonderful world of overnight newborn care, and I quickly discovered my true passion. Having a Bachelors led me into becoming a certified Lactation Counselor. Hearing my mothers stories from their birth trauma, experiences within the medical system, has led me to receive my doula certification in order to be a better asset to service my families. I decided to take the Doula workshop under DONA due hearing my previous prenatal and postpartum clients stories.
