From our very first phone call, I knew Lindzee and I would get along and work well together. I could not imagine going through labor without Lindzee by my side. When I went into labor, Lindzee came to our home and stayed through the night, helping me progress and supporting me through every stage. Once we went to the hospital, her guidance, encouragement, and gentle push helped me keep going, especially when we worked together to help get my daughter into the right position. Although my labor ultimately did not go the way I had hoped or expected, Lindzee was there every step of the way with love, support, reassurance, and comfort. She helped me feel heard and cared for during some of the hardest moments of my birth experience. One of my favorite memories that I still think about is when I needed a distraction during my long labor, and Lindzee and I ended up playing Tapple while my mom watched us. It was such a simple moment, but it perfectly captures the kind of support she gave me, helping me through the difficult moments while also making me laugh and feel like myself. We bonded throughout my long labor, and I feel incredibly lucky that I gained not only an amazing doula but also a friend through this experience. I will always be grateful for Lindzee and the role she played in bringing my daughter into the world. I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Ciarra is a very dependable, responsible, and supportive Doula. She provided overnight care for me and my newborn weekly during the first two months postpartum. Ciarra is very communicative, and I could always count on her to reach out ahead of time to confirm which days she would be available. She also impressed me by keeping a log of my baby's activities overnight, including feedings, diapers, etc. Ciarra also went the extra mile by talking care of light household chores like bottle washing and sweeping, while I got caught up on some much needed rest. I cannot express enough just how much Ciarra positively impacted my postpartum period, by providing the support I needed to feel a bit more rested and rejuvenated to return to caring for my baby myself. Aijanae supported me for the first 6 weeks with overnights, and then her team (Jazzy, Wren, and Hailey) joined to support for the following 4 weeks. I thoroughly enjoyed Aijanae's company during the middle of the night feedings and so appreciated all her advice on breastfeeding and newborn care (and appreciated her folding laundry, doing some meal prep, and cleaning pump parts). Aijanae really cares about you as a new mother and goes out of her way with texts, phone calls, and in-person conversations to make sure you feel heard and supported. My experience with Jazzy, Wren, and Hailey was also great. They are all clearly experts in what they do. And the great thing about working with an agency, like Aijanae's agency, is that if you have a longer term contract like I did and someone inevitably gets sick or can't make a shift, there is always someone else who can cover. Our 10 weeks with Aijanae and her team were a big financial commitment, but it was worth every penny. I would wholeheartedly recommend Aijanae and Village to Village to any family who wants a smoother postpartum experience.
