When I first became a mom, I never thought I would feel comfortable leaving my baby with someone else, especially during the newborn stage. I was very anxious and had a lot of insecurities. Anna helped me feel calm and confident from the beginning. She was gentle with my baby, always patient, and took the time to explain things when I had questions. Knowing she was there allowed me to get some rest and take care of myself without constantly worrying. Anna helped with overnight newborn care, feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and sleep support. She treated my baby with so much love and care, and I always felt that my baby was safe with her. I am very grateful for the support Anna gave our family and would happily recommend her to any family looking for newborn care or postpartum support.

We’ve been so lucky to have Gabi as our newborn doula, providing both day and night support since our daughter was six weeks old. From the start, Gabi has been incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring - not just with our daughter but with our whole family as we’ve adjusted to life with a new baby. She brings such confidence, warmth, and positive energy to every visit, and it’s clear how passionate she is about supporting families during this special (and overwhelming!) time. Gabi has also been a wonderful resource, connecting us with others in the doula community and helping us feel supported in so many ways. We’re truly grateful we found her and cannot recommend her highly enough. Any family would be lucky to work with her and have her in their baby’s life!

In my free time, I enjoy reading to my baby, experimenting with new recipes, and listening to good music.

Having Lynda as my doula was one of the greatest blessings during such a vulnerable and life changing season. From the very beginning, she created a space where I felt safe, heard, and completely supported. Her calm presence reassured me in moments of uncertainty, and her knowledge gave me confidence in every decision I needed to make. She did not just care for me physically, she cared for me emotionally. Lynda took the time to explain things clearly, offered practical guidance, and supported my choices without judgment. That balance of professionalism and compassion made all the difference. What touched me most was the way she extended that same warmth and patience to my daughter. She was gentle, attentive, and genuinely kind, which meant so much to me as a mother. Seeing my child comfortable and cared for while I received support was incredibly reassuring. Because of Lynda, I look back on my experience with gratitude rather than overwhelm. I feel stronger, more confident, and deeply thankful that she was part of our journey. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any mother seeking not just a doula, but a steady and compassionate presence during such an important time.

Being this my first pregnancy, I was looking for a doula who had a medical background and would strongly advocate for my preferences and wellbeing. Rhonda was professionally prepared to support my partner and myself during my pregnancy. She was very thorough in explaining the birthing preference list, making sure that I was well informed on my birthing preferences. She was very patient in explaining the interventions during my induction, such as procedures and medications. Rhonda also did a great job in relaying my birthing preferences to the nurses and doctors. During my labor, Rhonda created a relaxing environment, providing calming scent diffusers and words of affirmation cards. She also helped me in changing positions to alleviate pain and to move the labor process along. Whenever the staff made a suggestion, Rhonda made sure to break down the information using evidence-based data. This allowed me to have a positive and memorable birthing experience. Rhonda was very responsive via text and email. She also made sure to check in with us after delivery to see if we needed any support and to debrief on the experience. I would definitely recommend Rhonda for anyone going through their first birth.

Hello! I’m Naoko. I am a Japanese-trained midwife, birth and postpartum doula, lactation counselor, childbirth educator, and mother of four. Before moving to the United States, I worked as a midwife in Japan, supporting families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Since moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, I have continued supporting families as a doula with compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized care. My approach is centered on the person giving birth. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel heard, respected, informed, and supported in making decisions that are right for them and their family. I draw on both my medical knowledge and my personal experience raising four children to provide practical, compassionate, and individualized support. I welcome families of all backgrounds, races, cultures, gender identities, and sexual orientations, including LGBTQ+ families. I support a wide range of birth preferences and experiences, including unmedicated birth, epidural birth, induction, VBAC, and cesarean birth. I also offer childbirth education, breastfeeding and lactation guidance, prenatal yoga, and bilingual support in English and Japanese. My goal is to help each family feel confident, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

Having Naoko by our side during the birth was the very first gift our baby received. Now, two years later, I've come to realize even more just how much her presence and support meant to us. She quickly recognized that my labor was progressing much faster than expected. With her calm guidance and timely advice, we were able to communicate seamlessly with the hospital staff and make the right decisions at every step. She also thoughtfully connected a video call so that my daughter and my husband, who couldn't be in the delivery room, could still share the moment my son entered the world. Thanks to Naoko, the moment arrived in a calm, joyful atmosphere, and everyone in the room cheered, "The party's starting!" It remains one of my most treasured memories, and every time I think about it, I'm filled with happiness and gratitude. I wholeheartedly recommend Naoko to anyone looking for a birth doula. She brings not only exceptional knowledge and professionalism, but also genuine warmth, compassion, and a reassuring presence. She gave our family a gift that will stay with us for years to come.

**Please note: I am moving from NYC to Cali☀️ in Sept 2026. My services will be offered in the Bay area and in the Fresno area. I look forward to supporting you ☺️ I’m Nubia, a mom of five (teens & young adults). I have 25years of experience in the birth, postpartum & newborn care field. For 14yrs, I’ve been professionally serving families as a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, parent educator, certified breastfeeding counselor (CLC), an integrative nutrition health coach (IIN) and a student midwife. My journey started in the year 2000 in my hometown of Washington, DC. In 2015, I relocated to the New York area. In Fall of 2026, I’ll be relocating to Cali! My philosophy: Mothers deserve to be respected, heard and nurtured doing this major transition in life to becoming a mom, whether it’s for the first time or the 8th time! I truly believe It takes a village to raise a family which is what led me to my purpose, heart-centered work of supporting mothers & families. I’m a strong advocate for mothers and families birthing in all settings including hospital, home & birth centers. I respect the many choices in mothering and parenting. It's an honor to walk the path of mothering with women as they navigate the many options we have today. I strongly believe in the woman's ability to grow, birth and nourish her baby with her natural, innate abilities while also respecting the need or preference of medical support along the way. It's all about the balance of holistic & medical. My support also includes follow up postpartum healing practices for mom, lactation and pumping support, newborn care and parent coaching. On my spare time I enjoy indulging in health & wellness therapies, spending time in nature, traveling, cooking, dancing, and enjoying quality time with my teenage and young adult children.

As first-time parents, we were nervous and unsure about many aspects of caring for a newborn, but Queenie’s guidance and steady, reassuring presence made everything feel manageable from the very beginning. She provided hands-on support with newborn care, including soothing the baby, helping us understand feeding cues, and offering practical advice on daily routines and sleep. During nighttime care, Queenie was calm, attentive, and highly responsive, which allowed us to get much-needed rest while knowing our baby was in capable hands. She always took the time to explain what she was doing and why, helping us build confidence as new parents. Queenie was also very supportive during the postpartum recovery period. Her thoughtful care, emotional reassurance, and calm demeanor helped create a peaceful environment and greatly eased our anxiety. With her support, we were able to rest, recover, and feel more confident each day. We are deeply grateful for Queenie’s dedication, professionalism, and genuine compassion, and we truly feel fortunate to have had her as our doula.
