Hi everyone! I'm Meghan. Since 2014 I have had the honor of serving many San Diego families as a birth and postpartum doula. I have extensive experience in home birth, birth center, and hospital settings. I have also built an incredible network of amazing San Diego resources and care providers to ensure that you have a holistically supported pregnancy and postpartum season. My practice is family centered and evidence based. My goal is to make sure that you have the information and resources to make informed decisions. Hi! I'm a Doula of 5+years having received DONA training and UCSD training for birth doula and lactation. I'm currently practicing as a Full Spectrum Doula and would like to focus on Birth Doula and Postpartum night Doula services. I have an emphasis on the gap in care for marginalized women getting the care and support they deserve. I am a very open minded, caring individual who has worked with a variety of individuals from very diverse backgrounds and needs. I specialize in aiding high risk cases and I I lead with love and support from a non judgmental lens. Prenatal care is available to those individuals who have previous negative experiences and/or mental blockages. In addition to being a Certified Postpartum Doula of 18 years, I am also a Licensed Home Birth Midwife (licensed by the Medical Board of California) and Newborn Care Specialist. I am fully insured and Trustline Registry approved (CA background check) I am current with Neonatal resuscitation, infant and CPR certifications. I have over 18 years of experience providing postpartum doula support, with a large portion of my work focused specifically on overnight care for newborns and first-time parents including preemies, twins and triplets. My role during night shifts is to prioritize both infant safety and parental rest, handling all newborn care overnight (feeding support, soothing, diapering, settling, and monitoring), while also supporting parents in learning their baby’s cues and milestones. My goal is that parents wake feeling rested, reassured, and more confident each day.

I am a Perinatal Care Specialist — my job is to hold space for people as they navigate reproductive health and perinatal care by providing emotional support, physical comfort, practical assistance, and non-medical care. What that may look like depends on each client's individual needs and situation. I am passionate about education and love to not only learn new things myself, but also pass on my accumulated knowledge to others. I strongly believe that knowledge is power, and support my clients in navigating the healthcare field knowing their options and alternatives so they are better able to advocate for themselves, their bodies, their families, and their choices. I started my journey in the healthcare field in 2010 when I began training as a Massage Therapist in NYC. Since then I have become a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and since moving to LA in 2017, I have turned my focus more specifically to equity for marginalized people in health and wellness. I am now a DONA International Certified Doula, California Certified Massage Therapist, a Reiki Master, Yoga Instructor, trained in the use of Essential Oils for Birth and Postpartum, and most recently became a Certified Facilitator of The Resilience Toolkit.

I believe that it is a huge step to trust in yourself and body in order to bring your baby earth side. You step into another mind-space and you have to allow yourself to walk through the toughest moment of your life. You may forget all of the preparations you been learning, and only do one thing the entire time, but guess what, you did it. You did what felt right for you in every step of the way. Hi there! I’m Simone, a body-inclusive second generation birth and postpartum doula in Los Angeles. I’m passionate about supporting birthing people of all sizes, abilities, and backgrounds. My care is rooted in body liberation, emotional safety, and grounded, intuitive support so you feel deeply seen, respected, and celebrated throughout your journey. I trained and received my certification as a full-spectrum birthworker through the AAIMM/Birthing People Foundation in partnership with LA County Public Health. That experience deeply shaped my approach to culturally aware, compassionate, and community-centered care. Hello 🙂 My name is Marchael, and I am from Pomona, California. My journey into becoming a doula stem from my deep love for natural birth, witnessing the beauty of babies being born, and providing support to women during pregnancy and labor. Before pursuing formal training as a doula, I had the privilege of attending three hospital births. These experiences sparked a profound interest in natural childbirth and fueled my passion for supporting mothers during this transformative time. I began following midwives and doulas on social media sites such as YouTube and Instagram, truly immersing myself in their knowledge and practices. It was during this time that I realized I was drawn to this field. A close friend asked me to be her doula and without hesitation, I said yes. That experience solidified my desire to pursue formal training and turn this passion into a career. My background as a nanny for babies aged 6 weeks to 2 years, in addition to my time working as a travel nanny, has given me valuable experience in caring for infants and supporting families. I’ve always been naturally welcoming, positive, nurturing, and supportive. Qualities that I believe align perfectly with the role of a doula. These personal attributes, combined with my hands-on experience and love for natural birth, have confirmed that this is my true calling. My Experience I have been a doula for over 3 years and have attended over 100 births. I am passionate about providing compassionate and personalized care to each woman and family I work with. My Approach to Care I believe in providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each individual. I take the time to listen to my clients and work with them to develop a birth plan that aligns with their values and goals. My goal is to empower women to make informed decisions about their care and to provide them with the support they need to have a positive birth experience. My Services I offer a full range of doula services including prenatal care, labor and birth support, postpartum care, and lactation support. I also provide home birth services for low-risk women and work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for my clients.

Azure is a Southern California native with a deep commitment to supporting women and families through pregnancy and birth. Motivated by her belief in the blessing of every new life, she began her academic journey at UCLA with plans to become an OB/GYN. After graduation, she volunteered in labor and delivery units and worked in medical offices, where she gained valuable experience while also recognizing gaps in care — particularly for Black women. That realization led her to become a doula, where she supported her very first client through a successful vaginal birth after three cesareans. This experience deepened her commitment to advocacy and highlighted the need for care models that offer more informed and personalized support. Seeking to expand her knowledge and scope of care, Azure pursued midwifery. She is currently a third year student midwife at the National Midwifery Institute. She is committed to providing compassionate, informed, and culturally grounded care, and views birth as a transformative experience that deserves respect, intention, and support. Azure is especially passionate about honoring ancestral traditions in birth work, studying botanical medicine, and improving maternal health outcomes within her community. Outside of her studies, she mentors foster youth through Promises2Kids’ Guardian Scholars program. She also enjoys spending time with family, recharging at the beach, reading, and hiking.
