Hiring an overnight doula from Peaceful Passages was one of the best decisions I made for my postpartum recovery. Not only did my doula lovingly care for me and my newborn, she went above and beyond—prepping nourishing meals, providing breastfeeding support, organizing the baby’s nursery, and even helping with my twin toddlers so I could rest. Her calm, professional presence made my healing after a c-section so much easier. I was especially impressed by how seamless everything was—she was professionally dressed, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. On top of that, Peaceful Passages accepted my Carrot insurance and handled all the billing with ease, which lifted such a burden off my shoulders. This service was truly a lifesaver for me and my family. I felt cared for, supported, and able to focus on bonding with my baby. I can’t recommend their overnight doula services enough!

We hired Jeremy Anne to help care for our daughter back when she was 9 months. She was with us for about 5 months. She helped with feeding, play, naps, walking development, baby sign, minor housekeeping items and offered advice with caring for a baby. She has a wonderful holistic approach with her support. She cares about ALL family members - humans and pets alike! We loved that she wasn’t a “transactional” kind of person, she really took the time to get to know us, ask good questions and offer personal care support when needed. She also went out of her way for many things. I will always remember how she helped develop healthy boundaries with our dog as we were adjusting to our daughter’s needs. The boundaries helped build a healthy relationship with our baby and fur baby! Our daughter enjoyed being around Jeremy and she misses her I think sometimes. Jeremy was very helpful with helping our baby walk! We keep in touch and recently shared how our little one is walking all over the place now! I wish we could have had more time with Jeremy. She is a blessing, she is so peaceful and calm.

Hello everyone! I'm so excited to introduce myself to you and share a little about what I do! My name is Kirsten Junghans and I am a DTI full spectrum doula, sleep trainer and postpartum chef. I serve the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm a single mother to an 11 year old kiddo named Ivy. As a doula my job is to make sure you know that your curiosities, concerns and questions are valid. The need to be reassured and supported are normal and valid as well. I am an advocate for all birthing individuals. With that being said, it is my responsibility and honor to comfort and support you in labor. I will tirelessly advocate for you to have the birth you want, to answer your questions and to explain what is happening. However, I will not be taking away your power by making every decision for you. This is your body, your birth and your baby. My job as your advocate and support person is to make sure you are informed of all your options, so that you don't ever lose your rights to bodily autonomy when you walk into the hospital. As your advocate I will do my utmost to support you and your choices while explaining your options to you. You are still in control, and that is very important to me! As a postpartum doula, I never overlook the importance of following up with you after your baby's birth. I will support you in the days, weeks or even months afterward. There are many types of support I offer including, feeding support, emotional support, helping you find a rhythm, preparing meals, and holding the baby so you can sleep. Everything I do is done to empower you and help you feel confident in your new role. The most important thing I do during the postpartum period is encourage you to rest and bond with your new baby. The weeks after birth are an immensely beautiful and emotional time. This is not the time to worry about cleaning and jumping back into your normal life. It's time to rest and get to know the child you've waited so long to meet!

Hi, I’m Maya Jones a Certified Full Spectrum Doula and Placenta Care Specialist dedicated to supporting you through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My mission is to create safe, empowering experiences for all birthing people—honoring your unique birth preferences, whether natural, medicated, cesarean, or VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). Growing up in East Palo Alto, I was inspired by the strength of my community and the compassion of my grandmother and mother, who were community leaders and nurturers. Their example taught me to lead with advocacy, care, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others. With over a decade of childcare experience and a passion for birth work sparked in 2017, I founded All Hues LLC in 2023 to provide holistic, personalized care. My comprehensive training in Birth, Loss, and Postpartum Care, alongside certifications in Placenta Encapsulation and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Safety, equips me to meet your needs with evidence-based knowledge, practical tools, and emotional reassurance. I am committed to addressing inequities in perinatal care and providing inclusive, affirming support to all families, especially Black families, families of color, LGBTQ+ families, single parents, and surrogates. I support individuals and families through every stage of the reproductive experience: preconception, pregnancy, birth, loss, and postpartum, with care that’s holistic, culturally sensitive, and rooted in real life, not just the birth plan on paper. As a certified Full Spectrum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator (CLE), and Child Passenger Safety Technician, I bring a full care to every experience I join, so you’re not juggling five different providers for the pieces that matter most. Lactation support is close to my heart. Feeding is one of the areas where folks get the least real preparation and the most pressure. I’m here to make sure you have grounded, judgment~ free support from day one, whether that’s latch troubleshooting, pumping logistics, or just someone reminding you that “enough” looks different for everyone and every baby. With over ten years of experience and maternal, paternal & child care, I’ve learned that the best support isn’t performative. It’s steady. I show up prepared, I listen first, and I meet you where you actually are, not where a checklist says you should be. My approach draws on trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice, and I welcome everyone, however your household looks, whatever your experience has brought you. If you’re looking for a doula who treats your experience as sacred and specific to you, I’d love to be part of your life

Amy Baker

Holding a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Amy has worked specifically with infants and toddlers in the Bay Area for over 20 years as both an educator as well as Preschool Director. Her strong understanding of child and human development, in addition to her life experiences, have taught her that with each family comes a diverse and dynamic ecosystem — each with its own unique needs. As a postpartum doula, Amy offers physical support (cooking, light housekeeping, babycare, preparing sitz baths, etc.); informational support (feeding, babycare skills, context and perspective, information about products and local resources); and emotional support/encouragement for anyone in the family (including non-medical assessment of adults’ postpartum moods and experience, and care for older siblings). Amy views herself as a trusted partner who is dedicated to helping new parents discover the needs of their individual children and families, while helping to smooth the edges of everyday life with a newborn so you can enjoy this special time.

We absolutely loved having Amy's help during my postpartum period. She was so reliable, helpful, knowledgeable, and a pro. We trusted her wholeheartedly to care for our little newborn. She also was a calming presence that put us at ease from night 1. We appreciated everything she taught us and for the extra sleep she allowed us to get that first month!

Gena was an absolute gift as we navigated the first few weeks of our son’s life. Having had a very difficult postpartum period with my first son, I did all I could to prepare for the birth of my second son which is how I met Gena. She was able to immediately put me at ease when my anxiety was front and center and helped me get centered when things felt extra difficult. She had faith in me when I wasn’t so sure and we talked about life and newborns striking a perfect balance of knowledge and friendliness that is hard to find. If you get the chance to work with Gena you will be all the better for it. I highly recommend her.
