Hi, my name is Katelyn, and I’m a certified Full-Spectrum doula. I have experience supporting families through VBAC, high-risk pregnancies, and IVF journeys. I believe that every birth story is unique, and my role is to provide steady, compassionate support—emotionally, physically, and informationally—through each step of the process. My background includes working closely with clients navigating complex or medically supported births, and I’m deeply committed to creating a calm, empowering space where families feel safe, heard, and in control of their choices. Whether you’re preparing for a vaginal birth after cesarean, managing a high-risk pregnancy, welcoming a baby after fertility treatment, or have a generally "normal" pregnancy, I’m here to walk beside you with care and confidence. It’s an honor to support families during such a transformative time, and I’m grateful to be part of this work.

Working with Katelyn was hands down the best decision we made for our birth and postpartum journey. She was truly irreplaceable, and I honestly know I wouldn’t have had such a successful, positive birth experience without her. From the start, Katelyn prepped both my husband and me so thoroughly that we felt confident going into labor. When a preeclampsia diagnosis completely threw our original expectations out the window, Katelyn didn't miss a beat. She immediately helped us pivot and had a brand-new birth plan ready, guiding us through every shift with calm, compassionate expertise. Her care didn't stop in the delivery room, either. As someone navigating postpartum anxiety, Katelyn was an absolute lifeline. She helped us ease into newborn sleep schedules, patiently answered our endless questions, and gave us so much peace of mind during those vulnerable early weeks. If you are looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, adaptable, and deeply supportive, hire Katelyn immediately. We are forever grateful for her!

Luiza was our postpartum doula for a total of eight weeks, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience with her. From our very first phone conversation, she immediately put so many of the worries my husband and I had at ease. We had a million questions as first-time parents, and by the end of that call, we both knew we had found our doula. We were even more impressed when we met her in person for our prenatal visit. She is incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out to us was how well she teaches. She walked us through newborn care, feeding, sleep, and so many things we hadn't even thought to ask about. We left feeling so much more prepared and confident for our son's arrival. Over those weeks, she helped us establish a good feeding schedule, encouraged healthy sleep habits, helped us create a routine, and taught us so much about our baby along the way. She also helped us with all of the little things that no one really prepares you for — organizing our bottle washing area, bath-time tricks, setting up the nursery in a way that actually made sense, and finding routines that made our everyday life with a newborn so much easier. Her support with sleep shaping was especially helpful. By the end of our time together, we genuinely did not want her to leave. Luiza became someone we trusted completely and someone we now hold very dear to our hearts. If you're reading this review because you're considering booking Luiza, do it. You will be doing yourself and your family a favor. Having her support during those first weeks with our son was one of the best decisions we made, and we will always be grateful for her.

Hello! I’m Naoko. I am a Japanese-trained midwife, birth and postpartum doula, lactation counselor, childbirth educator, and mother of four. Before moving to the United States, I worked as a midwife in Japan, supporting families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Since moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, I have continued supporting families as a doula with compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized care. My approach is centered on the person giving birth. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel heard, respected, informed, and supported in making decisions that are right for them and their family. I draw on both my medical knowledge and my personal experience raising four children to provide practical, compassionate, and individualized support. I welcome families of all backgrounds, races, cultures, gender identities, and sexual orientations, including LGBTQ+ families. I support a wide range of birth preferences and experiences, including unmedicated birth, epidural birth, induction, VBAC, and cesarean birth. I also offer childbirth education, breastfeeding and lactation guidance, prenatal yoga, and bilingual support in English and Japanese. My goal is to help each family feel confident, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

I reached out for support because I was feeling really anxious about attempting a TOLAC. I wasn’t sure if I should go for it, but after having many honest conversations, I felt completely heard and supported. That helped me make a decision I truly felt good about. On the day of my delivery, she came right away. Her bright encouragement and Naoko’s calming presence helped me shift from fear to confidence. In the end, I had a successful VBAC, and it turned into the best birth experience I could have hoped for. I’m so grateful I chose Naoko’s support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone considering a TOLAC or VBAC.

As a Registered Nurse, Certified Sleep Consultant and Certified Postpartum Doula with more than 23 years of full -time night experience, my goal is creating confident parents. Caring for more than 250 newborns has given me a wealth of experience in transitional care of babies into family life. This is accomplished by establishing successful feed/sleep routines, teaching calming techniques and answering the myriad questions that would be in a manual if babies came with one. This enables everyone to get much needed rest much sooner than is typically experienced in this scenario. As a Certified Sleep Consultant, also known as "The Sleep Angel" I also assist families who have not had the benefit of my guidance from the beginning of life with their baby. Tackling issues of sleep disturbance/interruption in older infants/toddlers with gentle, supportive techniques results in peace in the home environment that only sleep can provide. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your little one!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Kathy. She has been our sleep coach for both of our children, and her experience, wisdom, and calm presence made all the difference. She truly is a baby whisperer. What we appreciated most was how she met us exactly where we were as parents. She never offered a one-size-fits-all approach—instead, she listened, understood our family's needs, and provided thoughtful, practical guidance with a lot patience and kindness. She's incredibly gracious, insightful, and genuinely cares about the families she works with. We always felt supported, encouraged, and confident knowing she was in our corner. We're so grateful for everything she did for our family and recommend to parents looking for compassionate, expert sleep support.

I believe every birthing person should have the right to a trauma free birth experience, where their beliefs, values and goals are heard and respected. Birthing bodies are powerful. My goal as a doula is to remind you of the power you hold. I have worked in the medical field for 13 years as a Certified Medical Assistant, Lead Medical Assistant Instructor, recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and gained Certification as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am a very motivated and determined person. As a dedicated mother and proud African American woman, my heart is deeply rooted in the wellbeing of our community. The glaring disparities in maternal health that disproportionately affect women of color are not just statistics to me; they are urgent calls to action that resonate with my own experiences and those of my loved ones. I am committed to leveraging my knowledge, resources, and voice to initiate and support sustainable changes within the healthcare system. My goal is to ensure that equitable, high-quality maternal care is not a privilege, but a standard afforded to all mothers, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Through community outreach, advocacy, and education, I strive to contribute to a world where maternal mortality in underserved communities is not a grim expectation but a rare exception. My mission is to fight for a future where every mother’s life is given the value it unequivocally deserves.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Leticia as our night doula during these first weeks with our newborn. Looking back, I honestly don’t know how we would have gotten through this postpartum journey without her. What really sets Leticia apart is how much she genuinely cares about our baby and our family. We can tell that she takes care of our baby with so much patience, gentleness, and love. She is attentive to his needs and treats him with warmth, care, and professional knowledge. It feels like our baby can always calm down immediately in Leticia’s hands. Knowing that our baby was in such good hands allowed us to truly relax when Leticia was here at night. That peace of mind is something we cannot put a price on. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, calm, reliable, and dependable. Her communication is also exceptional. She is clear and precise, but never cold or clinical. We always felt completely comfortable asking her questions, no matter how small or repetitive they might have seemed. We really appreciate how approachable and generous Leticia has been with her guidance and how willing she is to answer all of our questions. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us and for our baby. Leticia is truly outstanding at what she does, and I cannot recommend her enough. We had such a wonderful experience with the Stork & Sprout North Bay team. From the beginning, Brittany made us feel supported and helped us understand how the team approach worked and what to expect. We also had the opportunity to connect with Juliana, Samantha, and Yohki, and each of them brought something different while still making the care feel consistent and personal. What we appreciated most was knowing we had a whole team behind us rather than feeling like everything depended on one person being available. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely respectful of the kind of birth and postpartum experience we wanted. We never felt pressured or judged, and our questions were always taken seriously. Having local doula support here in the North Bay made such a difference for our family. We would absolutely recommend the Stork & Sprout North Bay team to anyone looking for thoughtful, dependable, and compassionate support during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum.
