Hello everyone, my name is Maria and I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over ten years of experience supporting families through every stage of their feeding journey. My approach is rooted in patience, respect, and a no pressure philosophy, because I believe care should feel empowering, never overwhelming. I’ve worked across virtual, bedside, and outpatient settings, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching RNs and MDs about lactation support in hospital environments. I also lead community outreach efforts, including prenatal breastfeeding classes that center warmth, clarity, and cultural sensitivity. Currently, I’m accepting new clients and proudly partnering with Wildflower and The Lactation Network to expand access to compassionate, evidence-based care. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, I’m here to support you with calm, judgment-free guidance tailored to your needs.

Recent review

We had such a wonderful experience with our lactation consultant. From the moment she walked in, she brought a sense of calm, understanding, and support that we desperately needed. She took the time to really listen, explain everything clearly, and guide us without any judgment. Her expertise was evident, but what meant the most was how validated and understood she made us feel throughout the entire process. We are so grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to any family needing lactation support.

Briana is such an incredible doula! She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, warm, and makes you feel supported and cared for every step of the way. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She helped us during pregnancy and beyond with both of our children and I'm forever grateful. I wish everyone could have a Briana in this special time in their lives!

Hello, Everyone, I’m Netta, founder/CEO of Doula Dynasty. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, certified breastfeeding and childbirth educator, and a veteran homeschool mommy of five. I’ve spent over 30 years supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience to every family I serve. I hold a Master’s in Healthcare Information and certifications including CNA, Infant/Child CPR, AED, First Aid, Birth and Postpartum Doula, and Breastfeeding Educator. I’m passionate about creating a holistic, calm, and enjoyable birth experience, tailored to each family’s unique needs. I believe that when the environment is relaxing and supportive, birth can be empowering, memorable, and even joyful. Outside of doula work, I love to meditate, write, read, spend time with my family, and sip green tea. I have a lifelong love of the beach and seafood boils, which keeps me grounded and connected to my roots. Doula Dynasty is about empowerment, connection, and generational impact. I provide compassionate, holistic, evidence-based care in a nurturing environment, honoring your choices and helping families feel confident, seen, and celebrated. My goal is to leave families not only with a positive birth experience but also with a renewed sense of strength, resilience, and joy.

Recent review

We worked with Netta and Doula Dynasty for four months for overnights from the day we brought our second daughter home from the hospital. From that first night, Netta was incredible. Very caring, responsible, professional and safe with our daughter and also supportive of me postpartum. She is positive, loving and knows exactly what to do to help your baby sleep so that you can get some rest. She’s also helped us during the day too and is a lovely person. Highly recommend!

Elise Silver

Having grown up in Vermont, I was always around breastfeeding mothers, clean living, and being part of a village for new parents. Upon moving to North Carolina in 2015, I realized the silver lining that was missing in childcare- a cohesive option for care for the newest of babies to any age child, while providing a balance of education, nurturing, and love to the parents. I have a wide variety of experience and certifications in pregnancy, labor, birth, and early parenting. I bring passion and expertise to each and every family she serves. My interest in postpartum work was sparked when my little sister was born; I truly believed that this sweet angel was brought into this world as my baby. From this moment on, I knew she had to work with babies and families in some fashion. Essentially, Elise did not choose the doula/nanny life, the doula/nanny life chose her. I offer a variety of services including: Elise brings a variety of experience, education, and certifications to your family: DONA certified birth doula DONA certified postpartum doula Rebozo certified Sleep Consultant Certified Nursing Assistant Family Coach Nanny Placement

Recent review

Elise and her team were absolutely amazing in helping me in the early postpartum days in getting sleep and taking care of my mental health. Additionally, when my 1.5 year old began going through sleep regressions, I hired Elise again for virtual sleep support to help us get through the hardest sleep storm.

Emily has been a midwife for two of my births! She is able to provide the experience, education, and experience as a midwife, but also provides the support and personal aspects of a doula! She truly is the best of both worlds. I have had the amazing opportunity to not only have her attend my births and help me through this truly beautiful and magical experience, but also develop an amazing friendship with her as well. We have stayed in touched for over three years! She made me feel comfortable and supported, empowered and motivated during my births! I am so lucky to have come across a great midwife that allowed me to birth naturally as biology intended, but there to support if needed. My older kids loved her prenatal and postnatal visits. I could not ask for a better midwife/doula and she will always hold a special place in my heart.

— Toni A., review of Emily Leahy April 2026

Emily is truly one of those doulas you hope every family gets to have in their corner. She brings a calm, steady presence into the birth space that immediately puts parents at ease. She listens deeply, supports without overstepping, and has a natural intuition for when to step in and when to simply hold space. Her care is grounded, respectful, and genuinely centered on the family in front of her. What stands out most is her heart. She cares deeply, continues to learn, and shows up with humility and dedication to the families she serves. I would trust her without hesitation to support me or any family!

— Alyssa T., review of Emily Leahy April 2026

Hiring Emily was one of the best decisions we made. She was supportive, knowledgeable, and made me feel so comfortable throughout my pregnancy and labor. I felt empowered and cared for every step of the way. Highly recommend!
