baby is breastfeeding fine and having no problems. However I think I have elastic breast tissue. I barely get any output when pumping even if I am pumping to replace a feed. I am going back to work in August and need to be able to pump. I have Aetna insurance and can pay a copay but need it to be subsidized by my insurance. I would prefer a female consultant.

I plan to give birth surrounded by the quiet of my home and my husband. I would like a certified nursing midwife who has experience with home births for first time moms.

Plan to give birth at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Prefer a doula that accepts Tricare Prime. The only 100% decided part of my birth plan is no epidural, calm, relaxed environment, dim lighting, minimal intervention, minimal cervical checks, no medications unless medically necessary. Provided must be certified, must accept Tricare insurance, must have at least 3 years of experience. Would prefer to also have lactation assistance.

Looking for a lactation consultant to ensure breastfeeding looks good and to help with learning how to pump

First pregnancy at 33 years old. I wanted to give birth at home but my family is against it so I will be birthing in hospital but want to be as natural and have as few interventions as possible. I live in Blounts Creek, NC but will be birthing in Greenville, NC. I am pregnant with healthy, baby boy who is measuring 2 weeks ahead already. No abnormalities have been identified. I am looking for experienced doula to help me prepare for labor and postpartum period and advocate for me during both. I plan to breastfeed. I am unsure of budget because I don't know how doulas bill but I also have private insurance, soon (pregnancy) medicaid and ability to pay out of pocket as well.

I couldn’t get him to latch. i can tell he wants to but he immediately gets frustrated and cries so much. i can tell he’s probably gotten used to being bottle fed. i feel like i really didn’t have a choice but to bottle feed him most of the time regardless, being that im an under supplier. he’s starting to try to latch with nipple shields, but again, he gets so frustrated and upset and cries so i just have to quickly give him a bottle. he’s perfectly healthy though, i just really wanted to breastfeed because i will prefer him to have as much breastmilk as possible.
