Hi, I’m Robin—Founder of Robin’s Cradle, your full-spectrum doula for the entire pregnancy journey. It’s an honor to support and uplift your birthing vision. I’m here to provide compassionate, personalized care—before, during, and after birth—without judgment and with your goals at the center. My calling started early, long before I knew what the word “doula” even meant. Supporting loved ones through pregnancy lit a spark in me that’s only grown stronger over the years. That spark became Robin’s Cradle, where I now lead a passionate team of doulas, creating a circle of care for families across North Carolina. My background blends education, healthcare strategy, and a deep heart for birthwork. I earned degrees in Health Administration, Project Management, and Business, and bring over two decades of experience working in health systems, policy, and advocacy. I use all of it to champion birthing people—especially in communities that need it most. At Robin’s Cradle, we don’t tell you how to birth—we help you uncover the power you already have. You were designed for this. And we’re here to help you walk in that truth, every step of the way.
Let me start by saying how phenomenal and professional Robin Price is! This was my first time seeking a Doula and I had no clue what to expect. From the introductory phone call to my postpartum journey, she shows her expertise through education, support, passion, extreme care and genuine love. She explained all of her services in great detail and also reassured me with her al a carte services to create a dynamic relationship that worked for my family. I mainly wanted support for labor and birth - and although she was unavailable to be with me physically during birth - we met for 3 hours as she equipped us with all of the tools we needed to be prepared! Not only did it ease my mind going into the hospital setting but it also gave me a plan to share with my support persons. Robin was only a text/ call away during the entire labor / delivery AND beyond. She follows up very quickly and will email all material and keep up with all conversations. Every question answered! I don’t know what I would have done without her! She is absolutely amazing. We still stay connected and she still shows her support during postpartum. 10/10 experience and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of Prenatal, Labor, or Post Partum support! Look no further… just book her :). Thank you Robin!!

I was blessed to attend my first birth at 18 and loved being a support for my friend. At that time in life, I didn’t know what a doula was or even that this was a career. After that experience, I was blessed to attend several births, including c-sections, and have helped several people with lactation right after birth. No matter what stage of pregnancy, I am a safe space for you. My business is evidence and experience-based. I am not here to give you medical advice, but I am passionate about education and knowledge. From 2018-2023 I had the opportunity to nurture and love babies from 0 to 24m in foster care. I brought several babies home from the hospital and was blessed to help them through their first few months, showing them what it means to be heard, supported, and loved. My role is to support families during the pre- and post-birth processes, regardless of the outcome. I feel called to this line of work and am excited to connect with you. I desire that your birth and postpartum decisions are based on facts and knowledge, not on fear or persuasion from medical professionals or the internet. I am excited to serve be serving, Wake, Johnston, & Wayne County with education and support during one of the biggest experiences of your life.
We hired Amanda to be our birth doula. We had a rough experience with our first born and wanted some extra help the second time around. Amanda not only had our back before, during, and after the birth, but she advocated for us with our medical team when it mattered most. She should be very proud of the services she provided us. We couldn't be happier.

Hello! My name is Lindsay Osterhoudt and I live in Raleigh, NC. I was lucky enough to discover Hypnobabies during my first pregnancy, before the days of Facebook and Social Media! I believe if you don't know your options in birth then you don't have any options! I'm excited to share my knowledge of Hypnobabies with families so they can make the best decisions for themselves and their baby during pregnancy and birth. I am a registered Hypno-Doula through Hypnobabies® and a Hypnobabies® Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor. I have had the pleasure of teaching for seven years, teaching over 85+ families, as well as using Hypnobabies® for the birth of my own five children. Additionally, I'm a Body Ready Method Certified Birth Professional. I have been trained on how to help clients prepare their bodies to improve baby positioning and pelvic space. I've prepared with specific hands-on tools to encourage progress and address delays and I can help you advocate for the birth of your dreams!
I wanted to be more informed for my second birth, so I took Lindsay's Hypnobabies course, and she was my doula. We met many times during my pregnancy because she was the one teaching the course. The support I received from Lindsay was truly incredible. Lindsay is very quick to respond. I could text her anytime and she would reply in 5 minutes. She is knowledgeable, and if she didn't know, she would get back to me without needing to ask. She truly goes the extra mile to help you make informed decisions. She is unbiased and non-judgmental, and advocates for bodily autonomy. I was amazed at how my hypnobabies training, combined with Lindsay's care during my labor, helped me stay calm and relaxed the entire time. I was so relaxed and comfortable that I had an unplanned home birth with Lindsay (no midwife)! Words can't capture how life-changing it was in the best possible way. I love how attentive she was in changing my position, giving hip squeezes, providing cold towels, and staying with us, holding my baby while we navigated the hospital visit, etc. She goes the extra mile for her clients. I would highly recommend her services and hypnobabies (they pair excellent together) to a friend if you're looking for a calm, unmedicated birth experience!

Hey there! My name is Naomi Carrington. I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum doula, Breastfeeding Counselor and Childbirth Educator in Louisburg, serving the greater Raleigh Triangle area. I'm passionate about childbirth, mamas, and babies, and I've dedicated my life to helping families experience a birth and postpartum beyond their expectations. Birth does not have to be seen as a fearful thing, but something women were designed for. Living overseas has helped to shape who I am today and the services I offer. Over the past few years I have mainly attended home births which is my 'happy place'. But no matter where you plan to deliver, I guide my clients in preparing both their minds and bodies for labor and offer full informed support of their choices. A few things that I impart to families are: education, the importance of body balancing, whole food diet and mental preparedness. Knowledge is power and a big part of what I do. Over the years, I have attended over 65 births and taught several classes. In my free time you can find me reading, working out, enjoying an iced coffee, working in the garden, with our many animals or cooking in the kitchen. I am from a big family and love making memories with them! I'd love to connect and discuss how we can meet your goals for your dream birth, postpartum or class experience!
Naomi’s birthing class was incredible! We learned so much and it really made me feel like I understand what happens during birth and what to expect. I feel so much more ready and excited for the journey.

I am happily married to my other half, Colin, and have a daughter, Olive, born at Natural Beginnings Birth Center in 2023 as well as a son, Finn, born at home this past September. I believe that birth is a sacred rite of passage to be respected and honored, I encourage and love the inner wild woman in her most vulnerable space, and I believe in the innate ability and intuitive nature of her body and her baby during the whole process. The birth of my daughter and son have opened doors in my soul that I didn’t know existed, and in response, I have developed an extreme passion for helping women and their families feel empowered, safe, and nurtured during birth. I’m beyond excited to connect with you, hear your story, and find out more about your desires for your birth!
I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for having Laurynn by my side throughout my birth experience. From the moment we first met, her warmth, kindness, and deep care for both me and my family were evident. She wasn’t just a doula; she became an integral part of our journey, providing support, education, and love every step of the way. Laurynn advocated for me when I needed it most, ensuring that my voice was heard, and I felt empowered to make the best decisions for myself and my baby. Her presence was not only a source of strength for me but also for my husband, who benefited greatly from her guidance and reassurance. With Laurynn’s help, I was able to achieve the unmedicated birth I had always hoped for, and it was truly a beautiful and empowering experience. I couldn’t have done it without her. She is more than just a doula; she is a gift, and we are forever thankful for her unwavering dedication and love

I have had 9 natural beautiful Bradley® births, and every one of them was an incredible experience. When I was pregnant with our first child, we took Bradley® classes together. My husband learned how to be an effective labor coach. We gained a deeper understanding of birth and baby care—and things we did not even realize we needed to know, from the stages of labor to breastfeeding, to how to avoid unnecessary interventions. Teaching Bradley® classes is something we really enjoy. They are fun, interactive, and empowering for expectant couples. Jeff brings a bit of humor to the classes and draws from his experience as a father, husband, and coach. After 20 years of teaching in-person classes in four different states—Connecticut, New Jersey, California, and North Carolina—we transitioned to teaching online. Now, we have couples attending from all over the United States. Couples can take our classes from the comfort of their own homes—or wherever they are. Online Bradley® classes are so convenient. Over the years we have learned how to effectively convey information to expecting women and their partners so that they are prepared to give birth and know how to advocate for themselves if they need arises. Our classes include games, break-out rooms so you can interact with the other couples in your Bradley® series, positive birth stories, and ample opportunities to ask questions. Our classes our appropriate for those planning hospital births, home births, and freestanding birth center births. We also provide information to VBAC moms, couples expecting twins, and parents who already have one, two, or three children. I gave birth to my first child at the age of 24 and gave birth to my ninth child at the age of 48. I have given birth in a hospital, a freestanding birth center, and at home. My most challenging births were my sixth and eighth babies.
Karen and Jeff's class was pivotal in our first birth last year. We had the home birth we planned, with my husband being my guide and protector the entire time. Our baby was born into his hands, which was such a precious moment. Both our doula and assistant midwife told us, in private, that we were the most prepared first-time parents they'd ever witnessed. Whenever I had questions pre or post-birth, Karen was always honest and helpful. Nowadays, there is so much unnecessary fear and pressure placed on parents when it comes to pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. So much. I don't think I would've made it through early postpartum had it not been for her reassurance and resources. Birth and babies don't have to be complicated!

We did the Sacredsong package with Gabe. I wish that everyone could have access to the support that Gabe provided during our prenatal, birth and postpartum experience. She answered all of our many questions through out and offered answers to the questions we didn't even know to ask. We felt as prepared as we could be before the birth. And when baby came a couple weeks early Gabe was great at helping over the phone during contractions then transition to the hospital for the birth. She helped guide me and my spouse throughout the contractions and into the birth of our first child. She made sure we understood and communicated clearly with the midwives through out. My spouse and I are incredibly grateful she was our support person for the birth and then for postpartum. The follow up session a few days after we got home was really helpful to be able to talk through and process the birth. She was great at teaching my partner how to belly bind and guide them to help support my recovery. If we decide to have another child Gabe would be one of the first people we reached out to to get back on her books. And I have already recommended her to a couple friends. My husband wanted me to add that he felt without Gabe there to support him he would have had a more difficult time. But Gabe was able to support both of us and so he was able to be more mentally and physically present especially during the hardest parts of labor.

Greetings, Bornbir family, I’m Alexis, a full-spectrum community doula and the founder of Mama Umi Doula Services & Reproductive Health Education. Welcome to my little corner of Bornbir! My passion for birthwork runs deep. I’ve had the privilege of working as a patient care technician in postpartum and labor & delivery hospital units, supporting families from all walks of life. While I valued learning from healthcare providers, I also witnessed firsthand how these systems—rooted in oppression and racism—too often fail black, brown, and indigenous BIPOC) birthing people. Beyond the hospital setting, I’ve served as a midwife’s assistant in a small home birth practice in Elizabeth City, NC, supporting families who desired a different birthing experience. I have also volunteered as a doula through a community doula network, offering care to birthing people in need, including teenagers, individuals struggling with substance abuse, and single parents facing financial barriers. I believe that all birthing people deserve options, autonomy, and care that honors their lived experiences—whether in a hospital, at home, or anywhere in between. My work is deeply rooted in love, revolutionary joy, transformation, creativity, and ancestral healing. As your doula and community sister, my mission is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel empowered, informed, and deeply supported in every decision you make. I offer: ✨ Holistic birth & postpartum support ✨ Reproductive health education ✨ Advocacy for accessible & equitable care If my approach aligns with what you envision for your journey, let’s connect! I’d love to support you in whatever way feels right for you. Book a consultation, and let’s build together. Much love and looking forward to meeting you! Alexis | Mama Umi Doula Services
I can’t say enough about how incredible Alexis was throughout my birthing journey. After experiencing a stillbirth last year due to a medical error, I was filled with anxiety and fear about giving birth again. Alexis was a true blessing—empathetic, patient, and deeply in tune with my needs. She protected the energy of my birth, creating a space that was safe, intimate, and centered around my healing. She worked seamlessly with my midwife, and I am so grateful she was part of welcoming my rainbow baby into the world. As a first-time mom, I had so many questions and concerns, especially when it came to breastfeeding and caring for my daughter. Alexis was so patient, offering engaging and knowledgeable advice while making sure I felt confident in my ability to care for my baby. She even involved my husband in the process, which meant so much to both of us. One of the most memorable parts of my experience was how Alexis used holistic practices to make labor more bearable. She guided me through a visual breakdown to manage the pain of my contractions and created a peaceful environment with essential oils and body oils. Her homemade herbal teas, postpartum bath soaks, and pad sickles were total game changers for my recovery, especially for healing my second-degree tear. Alexis also reminded me of the importance of self-care, even after the birth. Her support allowed me to rest and truly focus on my healing. Her services were incredibly affordable, and she worked with us to create a payment plan that fit our budget. For anyone looking for a doula who is compassionate, culturally aware, and spiritually connected, Alexis is meant for this work. She was more than a doula—she was a vital part of my birth village. I genuinely don't know where I would be without her. I feel so blessed to have had her on my postpartum team, and I highly recommend her to any birthing person looking for an empowered, equitable, and heart-centered experience.

Monica Bentley is a Certified Holistic Doula (2014), DONA-trained Doula (2025), and Certified Birth Assistant dedicated to creating safe, empowered, and culturally-rooted birth experiences. As the founder of Sacred Womb Haven LLC, she blends ancestral wisdom, traditional healing, and evidence-based care to support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Her mission is to honor the sacredness of birth while advocating for birth justice and autonomy.
As a first time mom, having a doula was very important to me. I hired Monica as my doula for my 2025 birth. Monica provided much insight surrounding prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postnatal care. Her communication skills were as outlined as she provided details regarding her role and expectations, which left minimum room for questions due to being very informative. Hiring Monica, was one of the most rewarding aspects of my pregnancy. She assisted with creating my birth plan and ensuring that it was followed as best as could be during my delivery. She addressed concerns during laboring when I was unable to and needed to focus on labor management. The techniques that she provided to help contractions during labor was very successful and I progressed more once she arrived. To add, Monica arrived earlier than what was planned, with no hesistsnce, simply because I needed my doula assistance. Monica's dedication was shown throughout her service. I would highly recommend Monica and have her again as my doula!
