Rose (she/her) has been a midwife for over 5 years and has been attending births in various capacities and settings for over a decade. Rose completed her midwifery training at the Yale School of Nursing in Connecticut in 2019. Rose was drawn to this work because of the magic of the birthing body and the desire to come alongside birthing people to remind them of their full power and voice. Rose had her own two babies at home, her first here in NC with a CNM and her second with a CPM while in midwifery school.

While still serving in the military, Sarah supported three fellow soldiers through their birthing journeys. After completing her service in 2012, she became a doula and birth photographer, then soon after, a Certified StillBirthday Doula, walking alongside families through both joyful and heartbreaking births. Her commitment deepened with time, and after much prayer and reflection, she felt a strong calling to pursue midwifery and became a CPM. Sarah is passionate about empowering mothers to trust their bodies, their instincts, and their faith. Her guiding belief: “Peace on Earth begins with birth.” She is blessed with a loving husband, four beautiful children, and two angel babies. Birth and babies has been a main interest of mine since being a little girl. I would watch birth stories on tv and grew up babysitting siblings, cousins, and friends' children.
