Hi, I’m Beth…a DONA-trained Birth & Postpartum Doula with a heart for empowering women and supporting families as they grow. While I may be “newer” to the formal doula world, my passion and experience run deep. For decades, I’ve walked alongside families through pregnancy, birth, and the tender early days of parenthood—helping mamas feel seen, supported, and confident in their strength. I’m the proud mother of one amazing adult human who has flown the nest to the fresh air and beauty of the NC mountains. My journey into birth work began more than twenty years ago during my own pregnancy, when I discovered the transformative power of being truly supported and held in that sacred season. Since then, I’ve continued to learn and grow—earning my B.A. and M.Ed. in Education and gaining a wealth of hands-on experience nurturing families and little ones. My deep interest in natural health, social–emotional development, and attachment has inspired me to pursue further training in infant mental health, dyadic relationships, children’s yoga, and herbalism. I believe in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and in meeting each family exactly where they are. When I work with families, my goal is to hold space for birth and postpartum experiences that feel calm, connected, and empowering. I blend evidence-based practices with a gentle, holistic approach that honors each mother’s intuition and journey. My name is Phyllis Herbe, Certified Birth Doula, Military Spouse, and mother of 5 boys. Over the course of the last 10 years I have served unofficially as a prenatal, postpartum and birth doula for friends, family and acquaintances as they walked their journey into parenthood. It has been my honor to attend births as a support person and personally attend to the needs of both the mother and partner in these experiences. Hi there! My name is Emmabele and I am a childcare provider/doula/newborn care specialist! I know that’s quite a lot of specialities, but I’ve worked with children and families since I was 18 years old. I have a passion for loving on little ones and helping families in anyway I can. In 2023, I decided to pursue a doula career, along with becoming a newborn care specialist! I’ve worked in hospitals as a pediatric/emergency department CNA, so I believe combining my skills in childcare and the medical field will make me the best doula possible. Her advanced training and certifications include When Survivors Give Birth, Rebozo Use in Labor, Postpartum Belly Binding Professional, Systemic Racism & Implicit Bias in Perinatal Health, and Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness. Briana received her BS in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where her passion for maternal and reproductive health sparked. She went on to receive her MPH from East Carolina University. She has experience supporting couples, single parents, advanced maternal age, VBAC/VBA2C, sexual trauma and assault survivors, high and low risk births, cesarean births, and families who have experienced or are expecting a loss. Briana has extensive experience working as a doula and an educator in all of our local area hospitals, birth centers, and in home. She is passionate about providing evidence based, unbiased education and helping her clients to make their own informed decisions. Briana's open, direct, and honest communication style paired with her empathic, compassionate personality allows her to be the best advocate and support for families before, during, and after birth. Birth and babies has been a main interest of mine since being a little girl. I would watch birth stories on tv and grew up babysitting siblings, cousins, and friends' children. Hello! I am Kelsie, a Catholic wife and mother of six. I am also a Certified Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator. My interest in birth started when I became pregnant with my first child and has only increased during my subsequent pregnancies and births. ​​​ As a Catholic Christian, I believe that how we bring our babies into the world matters! I want to help women have an empowering entrance into motherhood that is influenced by their own instincts, the latest research, and covered in prayer. ​ When I am not working as a doula you can find me reading a novel with a cup of coffee or podcasting and writing at Reading Revisited.

I am a mother of three who didn't have a clue of how much support I needed until it was too late. Looking back on my own experiences motivated me to pursue this calling.
