Hi! My name is Christina, but you can call me Chris. I am a Mama Glow Birth Doula located in Albany, NY. I service Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer and Columbia Counties. It my duty to provide judgement-free emotional and physical support to expecting parents as they make this new, exciting and HUGE life transition. My support includes creating a birth plan and providing education surrounding birth, what to expect postpartum, lactation or bottle feeding basics and more. I believe that birth is an amazing, empowering experience. To create and carry a life, then act as the portal that transports that life through the sacred passageway into this world is an experience like no other. I live in Rensselaer, NY with my fiancé, son and two cats. In my free time I love to cook, workout, and read. My philosophy is that every parent deserves to be met with unconditional support throughout their reproductive journey. It is my hope to always be able to offer my clients a way to be satisfied with their birth experience, no matter the circumstances. I have a special interest in the relationship between the mind, body, and baby during the process of birth and I often view the nervous system as a tool to tap into this system. I hope to pursue this interest and deepen my knowledge in the near future by completing a pre and post natal fitness coach certification.
