After the birth of my first daughter in 2011, I became passionate about breastfeeding and its advocacy. I had no idea how hard and isolating it would be and desperately wanted help and advice. We moved back to the Capital Region and I found La Leche League! This community of supportive, non-judgmental nursing families inspired me and I became an accredited Leader in 2017. Since then, I’ve been fervently learning about breastfeeding and human lactation. I earned the title of IBCLC in December 2022. I live in Averill Park, NY with my husband, two daughters, our two rescue cats, and a handful of chickens. I love gardening, cooking, cycling, running, pole vaulting, learning new things, and empowering families to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Breastfeeding Savvy (BFS) is a breastfeeding clinic, emulating a homelike setting, located at 58 Clifton Country Road, Clifton Park, NY, 12065, Suite 106. Our breastfeeding clinic was created to support the postpartum period and optimize the breastfeeding/ pumping dyads journey. Our mission is to provide empathetic and evidenced based support to families in the community. To ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of both the breastfeeding/pumping patients as well as the safety of the neonate. We follow AAP guidelines as well as ABM protocols. We believe it is essential to provide breastfeeding/pumping education and support to the entire family (partners, siblings, grandparents etc.) to ensure the most enjoyable and safe feeding journey obtainable. My philosophy is that every parent deserves to be met with unconditional support throughout their reproductive journey. Hi, I'm Lindsey! I'm newer to the doula community working towards certification. I made the transition to doula care from being a nurse. I practiced in reproductive health, family medicine, and pediatric care. I have spent the last few years absorbing everything I can get my hands on related to birth and go about my day listening to my favorite podcasts- all of them about birth maybe a few conspiracy shows too. I take a fairly natural approach to my life and my personal health but I understand that that is not an easy or sustainable choice for everyone. I completed my doula training with DONA International, as well as child birth and lactation education.
