Hi there, I’m Shellecia, a full-spectrum doula with a heart for nurturing families. Im located in Northern, NJ and am passionate about serving, educating, and uplifting mothers as they step into the sacred journey of motherhood. My desire is for every family to feel seen, fully supported, and deeply confident as they grow. I believe children are precious gifts from the Lord, arrows in the hands of warriors, both powerful and precious! I carry the blessing of Abba’s peace, love, and encouragement into every home I enter.

Service introduction

As a trained doula, I offer a full range of support through pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum. I focus on childbirth education to help you and your family feel prepared for the journey of pregnancy and the rhythms of labor. I teach comfort measures to ease the challenges of pregnancy and labor, while offering emotional and informational support tailored to your unique needs. I also provide nurturing care during the postpartum period that cares for you, the mother, as you rest, recover, and grow into this new season while becoming acquainted with your newest addition!

Includes: • 2 prenatal visits to prepare emotionally and physically for birth • Continuous, hands-on labor support from active labor through birth • 1 hour of immediate postpartum support at hospital or birth center • 1 postpartum visit (scheduled based on availability) • Email/text support during business hours throughout pregnancy

Includes: • 3 prenatal visits (in-person and virtual combination) • Continuous, hands-on labor support • 1 hour of immediate postpartum support at hospital or birth center • 2 postpartum visits or recovery, and newborn care support • One 4-hour daytime or overnight postpartum shift (scheduled within the first 4 weeks) • Ongoing email/text support during business hours throughout pregnancy

I had the absolute best experience with Shellecia as my doula during my pregnancy with my daughter. From the very beginning, she made me feel supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. She came to my home and gave me so many tools to help me labor more comfortably, things I had never even heard of before. She took her time educating me, reassuring me, and easing every fear I had. One of the most helpful things she taught me and my partner were different positions and techniques we could use together to manage the intensity of contractions. They made such a difference when it was time to give birth. In the delivery room, Shellecia was truly my advocate. She asked important questions I didn’t even realize needed to be asked and was pretty much my voice entire process. Having her there felt like having a professional and a friend all in one. I’m so grateful for her guidance, knowledge, and calming presence. I highly recommend Shellecia to anyone looking for a doula she is truly amazing at what she does.
