Hello! I'm Kaytalyn Winston, Certified Birth, and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Support Educator, Childbirth Educator, and Newborn Sleep Consultant. My passion for birth began through my own motherhood journey. I am the mother of two beautiful children, my daughter was  born at a birth center and my son was born at home. Experiencing the power, beauty, and transformation of physiological birth firsthand deeply shaped my view of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. My experience of being fully held and supported by a doula myself ignited a love and drive for supporting women as they navigate their own journeys into motherhood. In addition to my personal birth experiences, I have also had the unique honor and privilege of serving as a surrogate for a close friend. Walking through pregnancy and birth from both the perspective of a mother and a gestational carrier has given me a profound appreciation for the many different paths families take to welcome a child. I believe that every mother deserves to feel seen, supported, informed, and honored throughout each stage of motherhood. Birth is not simply about bringing a baby into the world, it is a transformational rite of passage for a woman and her family. My role is to provide compassionate guidance, evidence-based education, emotional support, and practical care so that families can make informed decisions and approach birth with confidence. My birth philosophy centers on trusting the innate wisdom of the mother and the physiological design of the body while ensuring families have the knowledge and support needed to navigate birth in the way that feels right for them. I strive to create a space where women feel empowered to use their voice, trust their intuition, release all fears and tension, and make decisions aligned with their values and goals. I support families across a variety of birth settings, including home births, birth centers, and hospitals. I have a special passion for supporting physiological birth, VBACs, water births, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and helping families establish healthy newborn feeding and sleep rhythms. Experience and Expertise: • Birth Doula Support (Epidural Support Certified, Spinning Babies, Hypnobirthing, Evidenced Based Birth)
 • Postpartum Doula Support
• Childbirth Education
 • Lactation and Feeding Support
• Newborn Care Education
• Newborn Sleep Solutions
 • Birth Planning, Preparation, and Pregnancy Support
 • VBAC Support
• Birth Story Documentation
• Intended Parent and Surrogacy Support
• Emotional Releasing, Processing and Birth Debriefing
 • Practical Household, Nutritional Meal Preparation and Recovery Support During Postpartum I hold a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and have completed professional birth and postpartum doula, and lactation training through MaternityWise International. My background in education allows me to teach and guide families in a way that is approachable, individualized, and empowering. It is my desire to walk alongside you, providing the support, encouragement, and education you need to feel confident throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and beyond. Motherhood is sacred work, and it is my honor to support and celebrate you every step of the way.

Where do I begin? Kaytalyn is more than amazing. She started as my doula and quickly became my friend, support system, cheer leader, and advocate as well. She is always so quick to respond with any question or concern, addressing any fears you have and working through them (while being a shoulder to cry on) and celebrating every win along the way. I love everything about her!! My husband and I attribute both of our beautiful births- first in hospital and second in home, to Kaytalyn’s incredible guidance and help. We love her and I highly recommend her to any woman I find out is expecting!

Elizabeth Borghetti

Hello, my name is Bizza and I am a birth and postpartum doula located in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am so passionate about birth and empowering birthing people with support and knowledge so they are fully equipped for whatever childbirth brings their way. My background is all things babies, from being a professional nanny to doula work, to being an Auntie to so many children. Knowledge is power and there are so many unknowns in childbirth. It is my joy and desire to equip birthing people with enough knowledge and support that when the unknowns come up, and they will, you are not blindsided. Rather, you are able to make educate, informed decisions. In my free time I enjoy reading, tending to my plants, baking, and gaming with my friends.

Elizabeth was an incredible support during both my birth and postpartum experience with my third baby. During labor, she was constantly by my side—rubbing my back, helping me stay comfortable, and bringing such a calm, reassuring presence. After birth, she even made sure I had a clean, dry bra, which felt like such a small but deeply thoughtful act of care in that moment. Postpartum, Elizabeth was truly invaluable. I was healing from a sprained pelvis and could barely walk after birth, and she stepped in seamlessly to support our entire family. She took wonderful care of my two older children—getting them snacks, playing with them, and making sure they felt safe and loved. I always knew they were in great hands. She also made sure I was fed and hydrated, snuggled my newborn when I needed time to connect with my older kids, and supported me with so much kindness and attentiveness. Elizabeth went above and beyond, and I am so grateful for her care. I couldn’t recommend her more highly to any family looking for a compassionate, dependable birth and postpartum doula.

Natalie is known as the child whisperer in our house. She started helping our family when our second child was three months old, guiding my husband and me as we adjusted to life with two kids. As our postpartum doula, she was an incredible support — especially since we were both working and our baby had trouble sleeping. Our first child had been an easy sleeper, so we had no idea what to do with a restless baby! Natalie was the only one who could calmly guide our baby to sleep, and she had such a natural way of connecting with our toddler. She also taught us new approaches to parenting that made our home more peaceful and our routines more manageable. I’ll be forever grateful for the time she spent with our family — even now, our toddler still asks when Natalie can come over to play. You should also know that Natalie takes initiative in the most thoughtful ways. She made our lives so much easier — preparing meals for the kids when I had forgotten to plan ahead (which was most days!) and quietly helping with little chores around the house without being asked. She’s truly amazing.

Hi, I’m McKayla! I’m a mom of 2, Certified Postpartum Doula, Perinatal Nutrition Professional and Chef, Gentle Sleep Coach, and founder of Utah Postpartum Care. After more than 10 years working with babies and children, one thing I’ve learned is how much time we spend preparing for the baby and not nearly enough preparing to care for the parents. That’s a big part of why I LOVE what I do! I believe postpartum support should feel like having someone in your corner. Someone who knows their stuff, respects how you want to parent, and isn’t going to make you feel judged for needing help (we all deserve it). Whether that’s a full night’s sleep, a homemade meal, help figuring out your baby’s sleep, or just someone taking a few things off your plate so you can breathe. These days, I also have the privilege of leading an incredible team of Postpartum Doulas and Newborn Care Specialists at Utah Postpartum Care. Together, we provide daytime and overnight support, postpartum meal prep, newborn care, and sleep guidance tailored to what each family actually needs. You don’t have to be struggling to deserve support, and you definitely don’t have to do it all yourself. We’re here for the messy, beautiful, exhausting, wonderful parts of welcoming a baby! We support families throughout Utah during one of life’s most special, exciting, and sometimes overwhelming seasons. We’re honored to be welcomed into each family’s journey and never take that trust for granted.

Utah Postpartum care is worth way more than 5 stars. This service revolutionized the postpartum experience for me and gave me the ability to be present and enjoy the newborn phase. With the help of the postpartum doulas (Ruby and Krystalyn) I could sleep at night knowing my baby was safe and in good hands. In addition to watching my newborn while I sleep, the doulas did chores around the house and would pick up right where I left off without me even asking. Even my toddler loves them and wants them to help him with his bedtime routine. The doulas are professional, friendly, baby/toddler whisperers, who folded into my family effortlessly. They have staved off postpartum depression and anxiety with the help they have provided, advice on breastfeeding/pumping/sleep training, and being a listening ear. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are worth every penny and more. It takes a village and they have been my village 💕

Lauren Davis

Hello, I’m Lauren- a mother to two daughters and a holistic labor + traditional postpartum doula with an education focused on the Ayurvedic philosophy. I view pregnancy, birth, and the process of becoming a mother as not only a physical event; but a spiritual experience as well. In your most sacred spaces, I act as a gentle guide +space holder in pregnancy, labor, postpartum and beyond. Supporting mothers/families during their greatest transitions, and weaving in ritual+cereomy as a means to support and honor these initiations and grand transitions is a passion of mine. It is through my own difficult experiences with child birth and the Matrescence time, that I feel deeply called to give other mothers/families what I did not receive. It takes a village to raise a mother. None of us were meant to do this alone, nor should we have to!

Recent review

I truly cannot put into words how grateful we are for Lauren. She was everything we could have hoped for in a birth doula and so much more. I genuinely cannot imagine our birth experience without her! Lauren has the most incredible balance of knowledge, warmth, compassion, and intuition. She knew exactly when to guide us, when to offer reassurance, and when to simply be present. She empowered us to make our own decisions while somehow knowing what we needed before we even realized it ourselves. When labor began in the early morning hours, she immediately made herself available. I’ll never forget the shift in the hospital room when she arrived. After spending just an hour there without her, her presence brought an immediate sense of calm, confidence, and comfort for both my husband and me. As someone who was genuinely nervous about childbirth, I never imagined I would describe labor and delivery as one of the most beautiful and empowering experiences of my life. But that’s exactly what it was and I wholeheartedly believe Lauren was an enormous reason why. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat if I knew Lauren would be by our side. She will forever hold such a special place in our hearts and our daughter’s birth story. Choosing her was one of the best decisions we made and we cannot recommend her enough!

Hello, My name is Johanna and I am a certified postpartum doula and gentle sleep coach based in Daybreak, Utah! I love supporting families in their postpartum journey. I am happy to help wherever it is needed: caring for the birthing parent or the newborn, helping with older siblings, cooking, and overall helping you navigate life with a new baby! Moreover, I offer holistic sleep support that is tailored to your family. I don't work with any separation-based sleep training methods such as Ferber and CIO. Instead, we look for gentle and realistic ways to improve your baby's sleep. In addition to my trainings, I hold a master's degree in Psychology and am CPR/first aid certified. In my free time, I love to travel, read, do pilates, and do the crossword. I mainly serve clients in and around SLC but am open to travel assignments!

Johanna was our babysitter for our son Peter from 10 months until 2,5 y.o. And our daughter Clara from the first week to 5 months. Johanna is an amazing care taker, she is very knowledgeable and experience across all ages. She is very kind and loving with the kids, and can create a strong bound with them very quickly. She also know how to be strict and make sure that rules are being followed. We would also ask her for advice for sleep training as well as more little things like how to get our son be improve his skills with his balance bike. She always came up with great input and feedback. We all loved her dearly, she became a family member to us, and we hope you can now enjoy her service as much as we did.

Krysta Betenes

Hi! I’m Krysta. I'm a Christian Doula and Lifestyle & Birth Photographer serving Salt Lake & Surrounding Counties. No Woo Woo. No Nonsense. I simply believe in physiology and a woman's baseline, biological ability to grow, birth and nourish her baby, contrary to a growing system that has taken what is inherently feminine, diminished it, and replaced power, self trust, and raw beauty with self doubt/ fear, control and protocol. I trust the body first, while respecting informed medical care when it's necessary. Intervention should be intentional, not automatic. My philosophy is mother to mother support, having someone on your team who understands what this season asks of you, respects what you value most, and who will support you to birth in a way that feels aligned and empowered. I am confident in my ability to help you feel prepared, educated and FULLY CAPABLE walking into your birth. No rituals. No crystals. Just grounded presence and support. Your intuition about your body and baby holds power. Your Autonomy matters. Your voice should be the driving force of your experience. "Modern obstetrics often centers around control, not trust. Birth is treated as something to endure instead of something to lean into. The system doubts the body’s natural rhythms, replaces intuition with intervention, and calls it safety."

Recent review

Working with Krysta was such a good experience. She’s super down to earth and makes you feel comfortable right away. She has a way of lightening the mood with a sarcastic joke or funny remark, even when things get intense, which honestly made such a difference and brought some levity and fun to my birth. She knows her stuff and I feel has the perfect balance of being naturally minded while also supportive of whatever choices you make along the way. She never makes you feel like you have to do things a certain way, and she’s someone you feel really good having by your side.
