Hello expectant or new parents! My name is Courtney Southerland. A little bit about myself: I’m a biological mother of 2 with 2 bonus kids additionally and I’m engaged to a woman. I have Christian and spiritual values! I enjoy taking walks, spending time with my family, and traveling when life permits! I have a background in early childhood education/care and I have been a stay at home mom for almost 5 years. I’m a soon to be certified (June ‘25) full spectrum doula located in Enid OK. I’m here to carry you through all these new milestones you’re going through! I have always had a special passion for holding the hand of mothers through these big life changes so when we’ve graduated you can fly and feel confident in this new era of your life. I believe that birthing and postpartum can be peaceful and healing for all involved. I would love to be a part of your life and navigate this new era together.

Im A Certified Birth Doula. Im 27, I have 5 kids of my own. I have given birth vaginally with an epidural, without an epidural, and my 5th kid decided he wasn’t coming out after he broke my water at 33 weeks & I had to have a random emergency C section to a super preemie baby. So I’m personally experienced in child birth, & have chosen to help other women because I felt alone, I didn’t understand at times. So I decided to educate myself and help other women so they don’t feel that way. I’m judge free, you will feel safe and comfortable with me, I promise. Your wants and needs will be heard. Merin (Amy) Varughese is 36 years old, married to her best friend of 13 years and has two precious boys who are 8 and 6. Amy is an Occupational Therapist Assistant and has been working in the hospital setting for 14 years. Amy also has her Bachelor’s in Psychology. Amy’s journey to becoming a doula was because of her own story through miscarriage, postpartum depression and depression and anxiety. Amy started a mom’s ministry where she makes care packages for moms and does different types of events for moms. Amy finds her joy and healing by loving on other moms from all walks of life. Amy is always happy to share her story so that more moms know they are not alone. Amy believes her faith and pain has led her to find her purpose as a doula. Some of the services Amy offers are meal prep/light chores, sibling transition and more. Amy wants to provide emotional, physical and informational support to help her clients thrive. As Amy’s client she will be there through and available through text, phone calls and even after that. Amy has a saying she says to every mom she loves on. Her message is, “You are seen, you are loved, you are chosen, you are valuable and what you do matters.”

My name is Ashley Gill and am a certified labor doula in the Tulsa area. I am also a trained postpartum doula and childbirth educator. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and have been for over a decade. I'm a mom to 4 amazing boys! My childbirth and postpartum experiences, as well as my background in social work, have directly contributed to my desire to be a doula. I want to help moms experience the labor and birth they want, and feel empowered with education, tools, and resources to make informed decisions. No matter where you give birth or what your preferences are, you always remember your experience and the emotions attached to that experience. I created Shiloh Birth because birthing a baby is one of the most beautiful transitions of a mothers life, and every mama deserves a peaceful beginning. My own experiences as a mother during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum deepened my passion for this work, and greatly inspired my calling to be a helping hand to mamas and babies as they adapt to a new season of life.
