Jamie Owens is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2012 and a Registered Nurse specializing in Women's Health since 2008. Jamie went to Syracuse University where she majored in Women's Studies and Studio Art. She then went on to an accelerated (BSN) Nursing Program at Quinnipiac University. She worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell as an RN on the Postpartum Unit for five and a half years and then on the Labor and Delivery Unit for a year and a half. She left the hospital work-life in December of 2015 once she gave birth to her baby girl.
