I highly recommend Esther and her company. She exceeds expectations. She was compassionate, kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Childbirth is a highly personal and important part of your life. Esther was right there for the family to support this precious journey. She was always available and connected us to others in the community, which was helpful. Fun facts 1. She graduated top of her class at a rigorous pre-medical program in high school 2. She also attend University of Miami on a scholarship 3. She is a mother of 4 very healthy boys 4. She speaks multiple languages 5. She has connections all throughout Miami Dade, which is helpful for a new mom 6. She's not just available before and during birth, she is available AFTER birth as well. 7. She has connections to midwives, physicians, and community leaders 8. She will support you throughout the entire birthing process. This is critical. 9. She is highly communicative - if you message her, you will get a response 10. She has a deep understanding of the human body given her background as a UM grad and high school medical program. She is a sweet and kind person as well. Her work has been featured throughout the country, and she is considered an expert in her field. She mentors other doulas and is a successful business woman, but she will still make you feel like a priority despite her busy schedule. You will never feel like a number. In your most intimate moment of life, you want someone who is there for you. Your child is your most important asset, do not leave it to chance. As I close this, I want to mention that Esther understands breastfeeding. Breastfeeding and pumping takes intention, strategy, and planning. Having a doula who is also a breastfeeding expert is extremely helpful and saves money down the line (no formula if that's your desire). As someone who is extremely discerning about services, I whole heartedly recommend Esther and you won't be disappointed.

Cut through the noise, conflicting advice, and one size fits all guidance that can make this season feel overwhelming. I’m Monica, a Licensed Midwife, Doula, Holistic Perinatal Wellness Guide and Certified Yoga Instructor with 30 years experience supporting thousands of women through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and everything that comes with it. I bring together the clinical knowledge of midwifery and the hands on guidance of doula care so you get support that’s practical, evidence informed, and grounded in the reality of how birth actually works. I created Moonwise Motherhood to give you a full spectrum approach to the childbearing year. This isn’t just classes or checklists. It’s real guidance, real education, and real support that helps you prepare your body, trust your instincts, and learn tools that actually work in labor and postpartum. Here’s how I can support you: • Easier Birth Classes • Prenatal Yoga to prepare your body for labor & birth • Virtual and in person Birth Doula Support • Postpartum preparation and guidance after you give birth • Perinatal Wellness Guidance As your birth doula, I help you understand your options, learn comfort measures, and get clear on what you want for your birth. I teach you how to work with your body, stay grounded through every stage of labor, and make choices that feel right for you. I am with you through the whole process so you feel supported, informed, and steady from the first signs of labor through the moment you meet your baby and beyond. My goal is to provide comprehensive information as well as a comforting, personalized touch to every family's journey, ensuring each experience is smooth and easier.

Monica was a midwife to me for my second born baby. After delivering in a hospital with my first baby, I was sure I wanted different with my second baby. Monica was incredible, when she found out it was go time, she was more than prepared! She stayed connected, & we had a quick precipitous labor here my son was born to me in the water just 3 hours after laboring. I’ll never forget this experience and how Monica left a mark in my heart. The most empowering birth right after having had experienced a hospital birth.

Shirley Anti

I’m Shirley, a certified birth and postpartum doula, and I believe support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum should feel like having someone in your corner who helps you breathe a little easier. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out to me. You can ask the questions you think you should already know the answers to, change your mind about what you want, or simply say, “I don’t know.” My role is to meet you where you are, help you understand your options, and support the choices that feel right for you and your family—without judgment. I bring a calm, practical presence to birth and postpartum support. Whether we’re preparing for labor, working through birth preferences, figuring out feeding, caring for your newborn, or navigating those first weeks at home, I want you to feel heard, respected, prepared, and never alone in figuring out what comes next. I’m especially passionate about birth preparation, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and feeding support. I also provide support in English and Haitian Creole, so families can communicate and receive support in the language that feels most comfortable to them. Most of all, I want our time together to feel like a safe place to exhale, ask questions, learn, and grow into your own confidence as a parent.

Words can't capture how much Shirley meant to our family. Labor and postpartum are no joke, and having someone who showed up with warmth, fierce advocacy, zero judgment, and sisterly love changed everything for us. Every touchpoint—from the 36-week check-ins to the continuous labor support and postpartum follow-up—was seamless and grounding. We feel really blessed to have had a doula like her.

Cheryl is incredible! As a first time mom, I had no idea what I was doing. I am somebody who needs a lot of sleep in order to function, and my husband has a very demanding job so we decided to hire a night nurse for a few weeks to help us out. Cheryl taught me everything I need to know about how to be a mom to my daughter. She was so helpful that we ended up keeping her for three months! By the time Cheryl left, I felt fully confident and taking care of my daughter (who slept 12 hours straight a night thanks to Cheryl.) You can see and feel how much Cheryl loves her job and loves babies. I will be forever grateful to her and will be having her back for any future babies 🤍

As both a nurse and a caregiver, I bring not only clinical expertise but also a deep sense of compassion and respect for families. My background as a NICU nurse has given me extensive experience in caring for the most fragile and precious little ones, and it has shaped my philosophy of providing care that is safe, nurturing, and centered on the unique needs of each baby. I believe in creating a calm, supportive environment where infants can thrive, while also offering parents peace of mind knowing their child is in capable and caring hands. Caring for newborns is not just my profession—it is my passion. I understand that entrusting someone with your baby is one of the biggest decisions you can make, and my goal is to support families with a balance of clinical knowledge and warm, attentive care. Whether it’s helping a little one adjust to new routines, promoting healthy development, or providing parents with reassurance and guidance, I am dedicated to being a reliable partner in your baby’s earliest days.
