I want to deliver with my midwife at a hospital near Iron Ridge, WI. We have pregnancy Medicaid. I do not like new age/spiritual calming mantras unless they are Christ - centered. Thank you! š
Home birth, willing to pay 1,500-2,000. Want a birth to be as safe as possible.
I have given birth twice before, and both pregnancies I had severe HG. While I donāt believe I am currently pregnant I am looking for a provider who specializes in HG as I have had terrible experiences before, from being cripplingly sick for the entirety of my pregnancy, to having to go to the hospital for organ failure due to malnutrition and dehydration, as I could not keep anything down.
I'm not sure, I would love to be as self driven as possible. I am pretty independent, doing a lot of research, but I will absolutely need mental health support / peace of mind through the process. This is all overwhelming, and I'm most worried about staying ahead of the important dates and processes, as well as my overall health. For the birth, I do not have a plan but would rather avoid hospitals at all possibilities.

At Home please. No cord clamping. No wisking the baby away. No poking the baby. Just give the baby to Mom and let her nurse then worry about weight, length reflexes later.
I would like to have a home birth. Would pay whatever. Would like a midwife to come and help me give birth at home.
I would like to give birth at a birthing center, not a hospital. I am open to a home birth. I have had 2 natural and unmedicated births and plan to do the same for this baby.
This is my first pregnancy and both my partner and I will be first time parents. Iām looking for help understanding my body as baby and I continue to grow. I live far from my mother and sisters so itās a very emotional time without that support. I would love to learn new things for baby safety, feeding, sleep as well as whatās good for me as Iām nourishing myself and baby. I plan to give birth in the hospital with very minimal interventions, but Iām currently unsure what a back up plan would look like and I could use some support with creating that backup plan. Our first birth plan is to be very intimate and peaceful but my partner can also use some understanding and learning points for how to support, and where, at the time of birth. Once baby arrives, my partner wonāt have the opportunity to be home with us long, and Iām planning to be home for 2 months postpartum. We would absolutely love the night support and the continuous learning. We have family support but we really want the first week to be only us and baby, as well as have strong boundaries with family about baby with hygiene and safety so this is where the help would come in. I feel like there is more to discuss to better understand match, but I am still very new!
