I have personal and professional experience in hospital and home birth settings. I firmly believe that having calm, confident support in the room can make a big difference. Creating a judgement free supportive atmosphere for my clients is an important aspect to having a more positive birth experience. My name is Ashlyn Reese with Nurtured Beginnings, I’m a certified Doula, Birth keeper, and Postpartum doula. I currently serve families in Berks County PA and surrounding areas. I have a passion for pregnancy, physiological birth, and postpartum. My goal is to provide women and families with gentle, encouraging, and educational support that helps to build the birthing experience into a cherished family memory. I believe in traditional wisdom and that birth is a rite of passage. I am passionate about helping women awaken that power within themselves and reclaim birth. I believe in mothering the mother. I believe in our bodies divine design and its ability to bring forth life. I believe in women, not the system. I believe women were created to have a village. Hello everyone! My name is Soleil Townes, I am the owner of Evangeline Birthing Services, which provides full-spectrum doula services to those in select counties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I have a passion for helping queer families of color have beautiful birth experiences and receive the support they need whether that is grief support or adoption support. I fell in love with birth work during my years at Montclair State University where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Family Sciences and Human Development. While there, I took a class called “Medical Humanities” where I learned the different health disparities different ethnicities have faced in our health care system. What stood out to me was how Black birthing persons have such high birthing mortality rates. And upon further research, I stumbled upon the beauty and importance of birth work. I have always had a passion for helping queer families of color, and this shines through my work. I have over 5 years of childcare experience before becoming a doula. When I'm not working, I spend my free time expanding my hobbies: video games, reading, attending comic and anime conventions, community service, watching cartoons, and creating handmade jewelry.

Hi, I am Diamond Goode. A newly trained birth/postpartum doula based in NJ/NY. As a proud mom of two, I know that having support means the world during these special yet most vulnerable times. Becoming a new mom or even just being a mom to a newborn all over again can be overwhelming. There is alway new knowledge to learn. That’s where I come in to be that support and help your mental/body needs. My heart is to walk alongside families with understanding, reassurance, and gentle care as they welcome their babies and adjust to new parenthood.

I believe that all parents deserve to feel encouraged, respected, and empowered to make the best choices for their families. It was this passion for supporting families that led me to establish Binghamton Metro Doulas. Since 2015, I have provided the Binghamton community with education and support during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
