The cost of a night nanny in Altamonte Springs, FL can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Altamonte Springs, FL, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. I am a career nanny specializing in newborn and postpartum care, certified in all aspects of NCS, and deeply passionate about supporting families during the earliest weeks of a baby’s life. What sets me apart is my understanding of babies at their core I am trained in the Dunstan Baby Language, which allows me to recognize that babies are communicating from day one. By interpreting their cues accurately, I can meet their needs promptly, helping both baby and parents feel confident and supported. My approach to newborn care combines the attentiveness of a certified newborn specialist with the practicality and warmth of a nanny. I aim to make every family’s experience comfortable, organized, and nurturing not an extended hospital stay. I manage all aspects of nursery care, including restocking changing stations, organizing wardrobes and baby laundry, advising on items to purchase, knowing when to move up in diaper sizes, pacifiers, and bottle nipples, and managing baby nutrition and breastfeeding support. I am attentive to subtle cues for congestion, acid reflux, and other newborn concerns, providing guidance to parents with care and reassurance. Beyond the essentials, I make the most of babies’ small wake windows reading to them, doing tummy time, mirror play, floor play, and other developmental activities that are often overlooked in the newborn period. I believe these early interactions are critical for growth, bonding, and joy. I choose not to wear scrubs, preferring comfortable, professional attire that keeps the household feeling warm and approachable. I find that removing the medical atmosphere allows everyone especially other children in the home to feel at ease and keeps the energy light and positive. My goal is to provide a holistic, confident, and joyful approach to newborn care, helping families navigate this special time with calm, expertise, and heart.

Hey y’all! My name is Adisela, I’m a mom of three boys, a Full-Spectrum Doula, an Infant Microbiome Instructor & an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor located in Orlando, FL. My passion for birth work began when I was just 5 years old, at the birth of my first sibling. Since then, I have been fascinated with all things birth, postpartum and everything in between. I am always learning something new and enrolled in some course that pertains to birth, postpartum, holistic healing and parenting. My practice is an unbiased, evidence-based and holistic hub of love, resources and education. I meet you where you need support the most, focusing on your whole being. However you birth, whatever answers and knowledge you seek, you will always be met with warm, open arms.

Adisela is the most supportive and soothing doulas you can find in the Orlando area. She truly loves what she does and you can feel her care and compassion as soon as you meet her. I met her through Central Florida Birth Network. She is knowledgeable, professional, passionate about caring for families and babies, and the most warm and loving people you can ever meet. I absolutely recommend her postpartum doula services. You will feel relaxed, uplifted, loved, and empowered. Having Adisela in your home makes all the difference. Postpartum is a time for moms to heal, to rest, and focus on caring for themselves and their baby. Adisela comes in and makes your home an oasis of calm, tends to your needs, nurturers you with homemade warm soothing soups, and helps you heal. She is a lifesaver.

I could not possibly recommend In Joy Birth any more. Our experience with them was the first experience we had working with doulas and we had both a birth doula and postpartum doulas (2 alternating). I think this review is supposed to be more focused on postpartum so I’ll focus there, however I will share that we also had a birth doula, who helped make my wife’s home birth of our son incredibly beautiful. We first started working with In Joy postpartum when our son was 11 days old. My wife was having a really hard time with the limited sleep we were experiencing so we needed some temporary help. Chrystal showed up in our home just hours after we made the call! She helped us get our first (actually) restful night of sleep that night. Over time we also started working with another doula, Andie, who was also amazingly supportive of my wife and our son. We usually did 3 nights per week and it made all of the difference in our physical and mental health. All in, we stayed with In Joy for a little over 4 months and wouldn’t have changed a thing. We’ll absolutely hire them again when/if we have our second child. They made an incredibly positive impact on our lives and we are so thankful for them.
