I am a mother to 5 beautiful daughters, and a “Mimi” to the most precious grand baby I had the honor of “catching” at home. Born and raised in San Diego, CA and before moving to Dallas in 2019 I lived in Joshua Tree for 12 years. I moved to Waxahachie for a few years but knew my heart belonged back in Old East Dallas. When not at a birth I'm spending time with my family, sleeping in, teaching student midwives and researching everything birth with my midwife partner Elizabeth! Sundays are my favorite attending services at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, finding a new brunch spot with my family and strolling the Dallas farmers market! Hello, I am a certified postpartum doula. I have worked with babies/children since I was 13. I babysat and nannied throughout my teenage years. In college I worked at numerous daycare facilities (newborn-preschool). I earned my bachelors degree from the University of North Texas in early childhood education. I taught for 5 years in 2nd grade and in PE. In 2008 we welcomed our first (of six) baby. I now have 5 boys and a daughter that I homeschool. My youngest is now six and I miss the newborn season!! I recently got my certification to be a nighttime postpartum doula. My goal is to support the new momma (and family) and help them to enjoy and cherish this quick season of having a new baby.
