I’m Sara Vidal, a certified birth doula located in Carroll County, Maryland. As a child, I was fascinated by mom’s positive stories of her varied birth experiences. Later, during my first pregnancy, I learned to access my inner calm and strength through the journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. After teaching for nearly a decade, I felt called to combine my academic expertise with my passion for birth by completing my doula certification through HypnoActive Birth created by Lauralyn Curtis Kohl. I’m also continuing my education, currently working toward my childbirth educator certification. Nikita Johnson is a graduate of The National College of Midwifery and is currently preparing to sit for her Midwifery Certification Exam in Spring 2025. She has received hands-on training under the direct supervision of Certified Nurse Midwife Bayla Berkowitz at a homebirth midwifery practice in Pikesville, MD. Nikita has also studied with respected midwives Monika Karaosman at Althea Midwifery in Berlin, MD, and Maureen McIver in Westminster, MD. Nikita Johnson brings over five years of homebirth experience, including three years as a Homebirth Assistant and Student Midwife. Hello my name is Anyi (Angie) I am a mom of 2 little gentleman and 1 little princess. I am happily married with my husband almost 10+ thank God for my family. My first pregnancy was tough I was far from family member. It was just my husband and I wish I had a doula to feel that comfort and joy that we were expecting. I don't want anyone to feel that way. It's amazing to be able to carry a little one in our belly's. My other two pregnancy I had different injuries, when your pregnancy there so much we need to be careful about and when I was in the park I hurt my legs because there was a metal pole where I couldn't see it because my belly was big. Lastly I had broken my pelvic. Thank God I am heal from everything that has happened to me. I was still able to give birth naturally 3 times. The first 1 with Epidural.. I have learn so much about Nutrition, how to increase breast milk. How to prevent injuries how to prevent miscarriages. How to stay fit while pregnant and how to have a smooth labor and recovery. I have learn massage for lower back pain. I don't have my credentials but I have more experience and have helped many women. I hope that I can help you too!

Lauren is a trained postpartum doula certifying with CAPPA and holds a master's degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she researched perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infant feeding, equity & doula care.
