Hi! My name is Heather and I’m a birth & postpartum doula out of Bellingham, MA. I have 2 young kids and was inspired in my own pregnancies and deliveries to become a family support worker during the incredible transition of welcoming home a new baby. My number one goal is advocating and educating the families I work with from day 1 so everyone can have the childbirth experience they deserve. I have been working as a doula for over a year and have served 7+ families as a doula and newborn care specialist during that time.

Good afternoon ladies. I chose to become a doula because I truly love being able to support women during one of the most important moments of their lives. My background in healthcare and maternity care has shown me how much of a difference it can make when a woman feels heard, supported, respected, and reassured. I want women to feel like they have someone in their corner—someone who will listen to them, support their choices, answer their questions, and remind them of their strength. I want every woman to feel seen, heard, and supported throughout her pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, rather than feeling like she has to go through it alone. Being able to comfort and encourage families during such a life-changing experience is something I’m genuinely passionate about. I also want to give back to my community by providing compassionate and culturally sensitive support in English, French, and Haitian Creole. For me, being a doula is more than just a job—it’s about making women feel empowered, cared for, and truly supported when they need it most. ❤️

The difference between my first and second postpartum experiences prompted me to become a doula and lactation professional. My best advice for expecting families is, “Reach out for help before you think you need it. Hi! I'm Naomi. I am a Certified Practitioner Midwife choosing to focus on providing birth and postpartum doula support. I keep my Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) cards active at all times. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula. I believe that if women/birthing persons and their babies were truly supported in the way they most need, we would have peace on Earth.
