I received my lactation training through Metropolitan State University of Denver and have spent the past eight years working as both a birth and postpartum doula, supporting more than 100 families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of their lives. I then moved to a pediatric outpatient clinic due to a desire to focus on preventative medicine and patient education. When I had my own struggle breastfeeding my daughter it drove me to focus my career on lactation. I have personally experienced triple feeding, bottle refusal, oral function concerns, maintaining supply while working and breastfeeding in toddlerhood.
