My name is Suzi, and I specialize in working with children ages newborn through 4 years old. I'm a certified potty training expert 💩, certified newborn care specialist 👶 new parent coach ❤️, pediatric sleep consultant 😴 certified postpartum doula and former career nanny. I'v been working with children and assisting parents for 30 years. My expertise is largely gained through decades of hands on experience, along with ongoing education and up to date training. POTTY TRAINING ~ 💩 Whether you're unsure how to begin, you've run into roadblocks, frustrated or simply nervous about potty training, I'm here to support you and your child through this major milestone development of them achieving autonomy. CERTIFIED NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST ~ 👶 I'd love to support you! I provide overnight newborn care support so you can rest. Bringing home a baby can be amazing, but also exhausting. Sleep deprivation is real and lack of sleep can lead to postpartum depression. Typical duration of support: 4 to 5 nights a week, 10/12 hours a night, for 12-16 weeks. By the end of my stay, you can expect to have your baby sleeping through the night and on a predictable daily schedule. NEW PARENT COACH~ ❤️ I wish I knew then what I know now! I'm a seasoned mom of two grown boys and have gained a wealth of knowledge both personally and professional through hands-on experience, and ongoing education. Parenting isn't a cake walk! It's hard work and exhausting, mixed with amazement and exhilaration of love and joy like you've never experienced before. SLEEP TRAINING~ 😴 Sleep is essential to every family’s well being. Without adequate sleep, children cannot function at their best, nor can the parents. Every child’s sleep needs can differ. What works for one child and their family might not work for another, which is why my sleep training approach is catered to your family's goals and curated to your child's specific needs and abilities. Allow me an opportunity to end sleep deprivation for your family! Certified Postpartum Doula ~👣 Providence an all inclusion and comprehensive overnight overview care. My overnight Doula service are best for families looking for support 2 to 6 weeks, 10 hours per night.

I love writing reviews, but only for people who truly deserve it — and Suzi Schwartz absolutely does! We hired Suzi to help with potty training our daughter, and I honestly cannot thank her enough. Suzi is incredibly knowledgeable, with years of experience, and the moment she explained what was going on and shared her tips, everything finally made sense. I had tried potty training twice on my own before and felt like I failed each time. The third time, I wanted to make sure I didn’t fail again — so I hired Suzi, and it was the best decision. After just one month, my daughter was fully potty trained. She started at 2 years 3 months old and was completely trained by 2 years 4 months. Suzi made the whole process smooth, supported us the entire time, and truly set us up for success. Thank you so much, Suzi. It was wonderful working with you, and I’m so grateful for the amazing outcome!

I’m a community-based birth worker and maternal health advocate with a deep commitment to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey with care that is informed, calm, and centered on dignity. My work is rooted in both lived experience and years of supporting families through community initiatives focused on maternal wellness and emotional support. I also lead a maternal mental health initiative that brings mothers together in meaningful ways which build connection, healing, and shared knowledge across generations. I am especially passionate about improving birth outcomes and ensuring families feel informed, respected, and supported in every decision they make. My approach to birth is grounded in trust in the body, education, and advocacy which help parents feel safe, seen, and empowered no matter how their birth unfolds. I bring strong skills in emotional support, birth preparation education, and continuity of care, along with experience working in community settings that center Black maternal health and holistic, culturally responsive care. My goal is always to hold space where families feel both protected and empowered as they step into parenthood. Outside of birth work, I bring a warm, down-to-earth energy and love finding joy in the small things, whether that’s roller skating, music that sets the mood, or laughter that makes a hard day feel lighter. I believe joy is part of healing too, and I try to carry that into every space I’m in.

Carla is a true God send! I'm so grateful to have found her. I was searching for a doula because I needed someone to go into the labor/delivery room and advocate for me should things not go as planned. With her help and guidance, I was able to labor successfully at home, managing my own pain, and she was right there with me to welcome my little one into the world. After leaving the hospital, I struggled tremendously with breastfeeding. She knew how important it was to me so she wouldn't let me give up. Thanks to her wisdom and helpful tips, I successfully nursed my little one for a yr and a half! Thank you again!!

ANGELINA, we have already made it clear to you. You have already went to yelp. We have reviewed your reviews., you go around making bad reviews because at a snap of a finger, one time visit we could not make due to an emergency induction for another mom. Out of 300 births, you are the only person who has ever tried to hurt my business the way you have. I personally feel that you have to heal in your postpartum that’s a priority to me versus my feelings at this point I have parted ways with you for more than one reason this is a public platform and I will not disclose any of your personal information. I did an absolutely fantastic job as doula , I did not ask you to write a review on this website, you made flaws claims and accusations about contracts. I have never made anyone sign. You made false claims about me not being communicative with you about a postpartum visit. You made false claims in regards to my professional professionalism. I helped watch your sweet baby boy while you were able to have a successful delivery. I have treated your family with absolute respect. But one thing I will not tolerate about my business as false accusation.. I will not move forward with any type of care in the future, and we have parted ways.

Our experience with Melanie was nothing short of exceptional. Melanie was our NCS from the day our son was born until 6 months of age. She truly operated as the Lead NCS for our household, setting the standard for everyone else and ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Her level of organization was outstanding. Melanie was always proactive about keeping me informed on anything that needed restocking and made sure our home was consistently well prepared and fully supplied. Melanie’s commitment to hygiene and safety was a huge stand out for us. She maintained the highest standards of cleanliness in caring for our newborn and was incredibly diligent about safe sleep practices at all times, which gave us real peace of mind. Every night, she provided thoughtful, consistent updates so we always knew exactly how our son was doing. Melanie also took the initiative to organize and coordinate the nightly schedule between myself and the other staff, ensuring everyone was aligned and that care was consistent. All of our son’s feeding, sleeping, and changing items were always perfectly organized and ready, making everything feel effortless. Beyond technical skills, Melanie brought a level of professionalism and leadership that elevated our entire household. She truly ran a well-managed, attentive, and calm environment for our son, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and structure she provided during such an important time. We hope to have her back for baby #2!

So happy I picked Shy to watch my baby boy. Unfortunately, my maternity leave was only about a month, and I knew there was no way I would have been able to continue doing night shifts while working. I found Shy from a referral, and she really helped make my night so much easier! While I still had to wake up for breastfeeding, Shy was there for all the transitions and allowed me to really get the most sleep I could by taking care of literally everything. Even just the fact that my pump parts were always washed and ready to go made life so much easier! Even just watching her holding my baby, I could tell that she truly does care, and just that alone let me know my baby was always in good hands! Once again, thank you so much, Shy, couldn’t have done this without you!
