I absolutely love my doula, Sandra! ❤️ From the very beginning, having Sandra in my home has felt so natural. She honestly feels more like a friend coming over to help. She is so warm, welcoming, and easy to be around that it never feels like you have a stranger in your home. My baby absolutely loves her, and I feel completely comfortable having him in her care. She has such a natural way with babies and knows exactly how to soothe them. She is also incredibly knowledgeable, and I love that she is a mom herself because I truly feel like that experience adds so much to the care and support she provides. She is easy to communicate with, flexible with scheduling, incredibly sweet, and genuinely helpful. Before having a doula, I honestly wasn’t sure I needed one. I’m the type of person who has a hard time asking for help and always thinks, “I got it, I can do it myself.” But with Sandra, everything felt so easy and comfortable. She helped me realize just how much support I actually needed and how okay it is to accept help. I feel so blessed that my doctor referred me to her. She truly felt like a gift during a time when I really needed one. ❤️ I already recommend her to my friends because I genuinely believe someone like Sandra should not be a secret! If you’re reading this because you’re unsure or skeptical about getting a doula, this review is 100% genuine. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel strongly enough about my experience with Sandra that I had to share it. We are so grateful for her! ❤️

Hi My name is Javanne Brooks and I am a doula and nurse practitioner who believes whole heartedly that giving birth should be one of the greatest experiences in a persons life. Unfortunately, that is not always the case, as it wasn’t for me during my birth. It was my and the experience of so many other women that has catapulted me into maternity area of healthcare in which I strive with all of who I am to help pregnant women, husbands, and other supporters of pregnant women (moms, grandmothers, sisters, brothers, etc.) become educated and empowered advocates while in the birthing space. I have over 19 years of nursing experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner and am a clinical expert in my field. I have also helped support several pregnant, laboring and post-partum moms and partners navigate through the their maternity journeys. I have had the pleasure of working with Javanne twice. She is very hands-on and is extremely knowledgeable. My first experience with Javanne was in 2022 when I had my first child. As a first-time mother, I had so many questions as I was 41 weeks pregnant and felt pressured by my doctor to induce labor. I desired to have a natural birth but was fearful after talking with my OBGYN. I was scared and felt uneducated about the process. Javanne educated me on specific questions to ask, what to expect during my upcoming appointments as well as the risks. She helped me feel at ease while teaching me to advocate for myself. I chose not to be induced and had a fairly easy natural delivery. My second time working with Javanne was in 2024. I had another vaginal birth without an epidural. Everything seemed to have gone well. Two weeks later, I noticed I was having a difficult time breathing, and I could only sleep sitting up. Additionally, I was experiencing headaches and gaining weight. I messaged Javanne, and she explained that this was not normal and urged me to go to the ER. Thank God I did! I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia and cardiomyopathy. Javanne was readily available for all my questions and educated me on the best possible treatments and what to ask my doctors and cardiologists. She also explained how postpartum preeclampsia can bring on cardiomyopathy. Javanne is attentive and wholeheartedly desires labor and delivery to be an enjoyable experience. I’m forever grateful for Javanne.

I am a native Los Angelino, raised in a bilingual household. I have always had a passion for working with children. While in high school I began volunteering at children’s hospitals, such as Millers Women and Children’s Hospital and LA Children’s Orthopedic Hospital, where I interacted with children suffering life threatening illnesses or challenging physical disabilities. Later, I was President of The Amigos Club, which aimed to bring together students regardless of abilities or neurodivergence during lunch period or after school activities. I even partnered with the Special Olympics to organize an inclusion game of basketball between our cities two rival high schools. These experiences sparked in me the desire to make a difference in the lives of others. After high school I enrolled in college and am a Child Development major. I have worked with children of all different ages in many different capacities; after school program leader, Live-Out Nanny/Babysitter, cheer coach, ABA therapist, and am currently an infant/toddler caretaker and Pre-K substitute teacher. I also help care for my grandmother with Alzheimer’s that lives with me. Most recently, I received my certification as a Postpartum and Infant Care Doula and am now enrolled in the Birthing Doula course. I’m a very nurturing person that connects naturally with others and can kindly and calmly respond to their needs. However, my extensive experience and education has given me the tools to be patient while also being intentional and proactive in order to provide the absolute best care. I am enthusiastic about how I will continue to serve families.

Hello, I’m Kathy, and I’m honored to walk alongside families as they journey into parenthood. Becoming a mother is one of the most beautiful and life-changing experiences a woman can go through. It can also be overwhelming, emotional, and filled with uncertainty. I believe no mother should have to navigate that journey feeling alone. As a Birth and Postpartum Doula, my heart is in supporting mothers and families through the many transitions that come with pregnancy, birth, and bringing a new baby home. I am here to listen, encourage, reassure, and provide a calm and caring presence when you need it most. My educational background in Psychology, with an emphasis in Family and Marriage Therapy, has deepened my understanding of the emotional and relational changes that can occur during this important season of life. The arrival of a baby changes more than a family’s daily routine—it can change how we see ourselves, how we connect with our partners, and how we navigate our new roles as parents. I bring this understanding into my doula work by creating a safe, compassionate space where mothers and families can feel heard, supported, and understood. During pregnancy and birth, I support you in preparing for the experience you envision while respecting that birth can sometimes take an unexpected path. Whether your birth plan changes or unfolds exactly as you hoped, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported. After your baby arrives, my role is to help you find your rhythm as a new family. I provide practical and emotional support as you recover, learn your baby, navigate feeding and newborn care, adjust to new routines, and experience the many emotions that come with motherhood. I believe that caring for the mother is an essential part of caring for the family. My philosophy is simple: I don't believe in telling you how to be a mother. I believe in meeting you where you are, listening to what you need, and walking beside you as you discover your own way. There is no perfect birth, no perfect mother, and no single path into parenthood. There is only "your" journey—and I would be honored to be part of it. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, supported, and confident as you move from pregnancy to birth and into the beautiful, sometimes messy, and deeply transformative journey of motherhood. You care for so many already. Let me help care for you.l.

Lisa was exactly what our family needed as we stepped into life with two young kids. She brought a calm, steady presence and handled many everyday details so we could focus on our new baby and my wife's recovery. She often started her shifts with a grocery run, cooked nourishing, healthy meals, and shared practical knowledge that made us feel more confident each day. She built a wonderful bond with both the baby and our toddler. She regularly baked muffins with our older one, and they were a total hit at breakfast every morning. For my wife, connecting with another mom of a young child was invaluable. Lisa understands the information overload and constant comparison modern moms face, and she was a steady source of reassurance and comfort. Lisa is a great listener who adapted to our needs and the way we wanted to do things, while also offering thoughtful suggestions along the way. We're so grateful for her support and would recommend her to any family welcoming a new baby.

Aysha SHOWED UP for me! I’m honestly not sure how my birth would have gone without her support! We laughed. We walked. We squatted. We twerked. I cried. She held me. Reminded me that i was capable. Postpartum was rough this go round and she was there, prepping meals, cleaning, teaching my toddler essential life skills, making sure she saw me drinking my water and taking my vitamins. She feels like a best friend I’ve known for many years. I’m so grateful and i can’t say it enough💗

Our experience with Melanie was nothing short of exceptional. Melanie was our NCS from the day our son was born until 6 months of age. She truly operated as the Lead NCS for our household, setting the standard for everyone else and ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Her level of organization was outstanding. Melanie was always proactive about keeping me informed on anything that needed restocking and made sure our home was consistently well prepared and fully supplied. Melanie’s commitment to hygiene and safety was a huge stand out for us. She maintained the highest standards of cleanliness in caring for our newborn and was incredibly diligent about safe sleep practices at all times, which gave us real peace of mind. Every night, she provided thoughtful, consistent updates so we always knew exactly how our son was doing. Melanie also took the initiative to organize and coordinate the nightly schedule between myself and the other staff, ensuring everyone was aligned and that care was consistent. All of our son’s feeding, sleeping, and changing items were always perfectly organized and ready, making everything feel effortless. Beyond technical skills, Melanie brought a level of professionalism and leadership that elevated our entire household. She truly ran a well-managed, attentive, and calm environment for our son, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and structure she provided during such an important time. We hope to have her back for baby #2!
