I have been an OB nurse for the past 7 years, a lactation counselor the last 4 years and a mom of 2. I lead with compassion and have a strong belief in tailoring your care to YOU and your individual needs. My philosophy is that education is empowerment. I fully believe that feeling prepared and educated early on brings such a sense of calm and control your birthing space. I proudly serve all birthing people and families, honoring every identity, body, and background with inclusive care. I offer both virtual and in person services to be able to support families with a variety of budgets
Britney supported me through my entire pregnancy, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Even though this wasn’t my first pregnancy, I had countless questions and concerns and Britney was there for every single one. She never made me feel like my questions didn’t matter. Instead, she answered them thoroughly, kindly, and always in a timely manner. Beyond her incredible guidance during pregnancy, Britney was also a huge help with breastfeeding. She shared so many tips and tricks that gave me the confidence to start my breastfeeding journey successfully. During labor, Britney was by my side every step of the way like checking in, reassuring me, and making sure I felt supported. You don’t truly realize how much you need that kind of support until you have it, and Britney provided exactly that. I would recommend Britney to every pregnant woman I meet. She is truly an angel!

As a full-spectrum doula with eight years of experience working with newborns and supporting families, I am deeply committed to empowering parents during one of the most transformative times of their lives. As a devoted mother to my four-year-old, who had an amazing home birth experience with a supportive birth team, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges of parenthood, and I bring that empathy into my work. Currently pursuing my studies in midwifery, I am dedicated to expanding my skills to offer even greater support to families. I also have a passion for fitness and nutrition, and I love helping prenatal and postpartum mothers prioritize their wellness, recognizing that a healthy body and mind contribute to a positive parenting experience. "Faith-rooted doula care for calm, physiological birth & a peaceful postpartum. LA & OC." Hi, I’m Teejay Casado, a faith-based certified birth and postpartum doula serving LA & Orange Counties. Through Temple & Terrain Birthworks, I support mothers in trusting the natural, physiological process of birth while feeling empowered and prepared for whatever path their birth may take. My focus is on minimizing trauma and toxicity while cultivating peace, calm, and a soul-filled, faith-rooted experience for both mother and family. With a background in anthropology, I honor birth as both an ancient physiological process and a sacred rite of passage. I offer compassionate birth support, postpartum care, Ayurvedic bodywork, and whole-food-based nutritional guidance—creating a safe, nurturing space where mothers can step into their transformation with confidence and grace.
Teejay is an incredibly thorough and attentive massage therapist. She takes her time, giving careful attention to every muscle and joint, and truly listens to my specific needs. Her knowledge of postpartum recovery and infant care is impressive — clearly reflecting her experience as a mom of three. I always leave feeling rejuvenated and well cared for. I would highly, highly recommend her to other moms, especially those navigating postpartum recovery.

Hello! My name is Kennedy, and I would be honored to offer my services to you as a birth doula OR an overnight post partum doula/newborn care specialist! My philosophy is that judgement and restriction has no place in birth work. I'm not here to tell you what to do or turn my nose up at you for what you choose not to do. I'm here to support your decisions, let you know the pros and cons, and teach you how to trust your intuition when it comes to your baby and your body. My number one goal is to always provide a safe space for you and your family as you navigate the messy beauty that is birth and postpartum. I cannot wait to hear from you and I wish you the best of luck in your search to find the perfect fit for you and your tribe!
Loved having Kennedy here to help me out as my postpartum doula! She was so patient, genuinely kind, and very knowledgeable. As a first time mom, I had worries about how my birth would go but I didn't even think to consider my postpartum experience. I was stressed those first few weeks, but hiring Kennedy lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders and allowed me to rest and heal properly so that my baby could get the best version of me. I will always be grateful for her help and I cannot recommend her enough!

Hi there, I’m Becky and have been working with new families since 2016 as a doula and parent educator in the Los Angeles, Ca and surrounding communities. I truly believe the support of a new mother starts during pregnancy and through the first year postpartum. I am a first generation Latinx woman and use the pronouns She/Her/Ella. I primarily grew up in Whittier, CA, but spend several years in Nayarit, Mexico. I am married with 3 beautiful children of my own. I hope I can help you plan for the best birth and postpartum period imaginable.
After learning about postpartum doulas during my birth prep, I knew that was a support my husband and I would want after the birth of our first child. My mother isn't really in my life, my mother-in-law wasn't going to be available, and we felt like we had no idea what we were doing. Enter Becky! From the very beginning, Becky was a steady and knowledgeable voice, guiding us through this massive shift in our lives. She was there from the beginning, teaching us everything from breastfeeding tips and first baths to developmental milestones. All the nervous questions I had, that would have led us straight to urgent care countless times, she had a logical and fact-based answer for. When she was over, I could take a break to shower or do something for myself, knowing my baby was in excellent hands. Even her and our reactive dog became besties. By the end of our three months together she was more like a big sister to me than someone we hired to help us. Our little family loves her and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a postpartum doula.

Nurture The Divine is rooted in serving and empowering women to achieve the birth experience of their dreams. There is so much transformation that occurs during all 4 trimesters of pregnancy and it’s important for women to feel understood, heard, and validated during this sacred time. My doula approach encompasses physical, emotional, educational, and energetic support in a warm and loving space. My goal is to bring truly comprehensive, safe, healing, and whole-hearted doula care to all the beautiful families that I am blessed to interact with. I truly believe there is immense value in providing a safe space for the divine feminine to shine. Even in rare cases when medical interventions are necessary for the safety of mom and baby, the sacred nature of birth can still be preserved.
I don't even know where to start. I am almost 3 weeks postpartum and have been heavily reflecting on my pregnancy, labor, and delivery as a first-time mom. I matched with Kalista when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. The kindness, support, and education provided by Kalista from day 1 has made the entire experience incredibly memorable. My plan was to have an unmedicated birth, but complications along the way forced an induction and an epidural. My body continued to struggle to dilate, which caused a very uncomfortable, prolonged labor. There were many moments of feeling very challenged and overwhelmed. Kalista stayed by my side in the hospital the entire time, as soon as I was admitted. Kalista provided ambient lighting, meditation music, electrolytes, stress tools (ball and labor comb), suggested positions to try during contractions, and massaged my legs during the most intense times. One of the most memorable things I will always remember during my labor and delivery was her soft, kind words of encouragement during painful moments and during my actual delivery. I honestly can say that I wouldn't have been able to overcome the challenges without her and my fiance by my side. I was hard on myself when the turn of events changed my birth plan. Kalista made my fiance and I feel comfortable and confident that we could overcome it all and still have a positive delivery. When I look back on everything, I can honestly say that I will miss the entire experience and parts of me wish that it wasn't over. If I ever have another baby, I hope that Kalista is available again to help me have another positive birth experience. We are so grateful for her!

As your doula, my role is to support you and your family in the way that best helps you feel calm, confident, and present throughout labor. That might look like hands-on support to help you labor more comfortably at home, guiding your partner in how to do the same, offering gentle coaching as you breathe through contractions, or even quietly capturing photos and keeping loved ones updated. Every birth is unique, and I’m flexible to your goals and desires—even if they shift as labor unfolds. While some people picture doulas as very “woo-woo” or mystical, my style is more grounded and pragmatic. I believe in giving you practical tools, evidence-based guidance, and steady encouragement so you can navigate the challenges of labor with clarity and confidence. I love preparing families by educating them about what to expect and how to respond intentionally, rather than react impulsively in the moment. My professional background is in leadership, mentorship, and professional development, and I bring that same skillset into my doula work—helping you tap into your own strength, stay relaxed, and move through labor as smoothly as your body allows. My ultimate goal is to help you experience the fastest, easiest birth your body is capable of, while holding space for you to feel calm, supported, and fully present in the process.
I would highly recommend hiring Alix if you are giving birth anytime soon or saving her information if you plan to give birth anytime in the future. My husband and I were not originally planning on having a doula. We gave birth at a birthing center and thought that a doula's main benefit would be advocating for us in a hospital setting (although we did not experience this I am positive Alix would also be very helpful in this setting as well). Alix was a godsend!! Get ready for the long list of things that were so helpful to my husband and I in labor: she helped give my husband a break from different comfort measures, helped calm and focus me when I started to believe I couldn't do it, was so knowledgeable in different positions and comfort measures to try, she brought different tools with her to help in labor (I would not have gotten through labor without the help of the labor comb that she brought), she communicated directly with our midwife and got us going to the birthing center when we needed to (without her we probably would have given birth at home which was not a part of our plan), and on the way to the birthing center she bought liquid IV's to make sure I was staying hydrated. This is just the list of things she did while at our home and on the way to the birthing center (and it is not an exhaustive list!!). I haven't even mentioned how she helped at the birthing center as well as her communication and encouragement during pregnancy and her care after giving birth. This review is already long enough so I will not add those things but will say that Alix is amazing and you will not regret hiring her (especially if you are a first time mom like me!!).
