Kim is great! We hired Kim as our birth doula and had a wonderful experience. - She's super knowledgeable & experienced-- with her prep sessions, I didn't feel the need to do any additional birth prep classes and I felt informed & empowered going into my birth. - I really trusted her to help us navigate choice and make good decisions that were medically safe & aligned with our preferences. This was a huge stress reliever for me-- it let me avoid sifting through endless info on the internet. - She helped bring my partner in to the birth experience and supported both of us throughout. - She worked flawlessly with the staff at UCSF. Kim felt like a trusted member of our medical team. This was especially nice when hospital shifts changed or when we needed help weighing options. - Her support during the birth itself was exactly what I needed, from physical comfort measures to brainstorming options to emotional support. We had a wonderful birth and Kim's support was a big part of that. Can't recommend her highly enough.

My name is Rebecca Garcia and I am thrilled you are seeking out a Doula for your journey. I have a strong energetic pull towards this life changing work, and I am so honored to be pursuing my passion as a birth worker. I love all things birth and feel that my strongest assets are listening, empathy, providing resources and cooking homemade meals for others. I tell all my clients, if there is a birth I am there. With all the stigma and negative depictions in the media surrounding birth, I want to ensure that my clients feel secure in all their decisions without any judgments. This Is Your Body, Your Birth & Only You Get To Make The Decisions That Works Best For You & Your Baby. I have two spirited little ones of my own; ages 4 and 6. I had doulas for both births and feel as though they made my birthing journey undeniably memorable. They feed me, hit pressure points during labor, loved me, educated me and most importantly encouraged me to find my voice and strength. These are the experiences I wish to provide to my future clients. I have experience in homebirths, birth centers & hospital settings. I understand that ones birthing journey is a sacred space, and wish to only support and offer any resources that may help aid in this time. If you are interested or just want to connect and talk anything birth, postpartum or baby please feel free to reach out. I am located in San Francisco and I am extending my services throughout the surrounding Bay Area. Virtual Options Also Provided

Rebecca was very thorough in the education she provided to us as first time parents in the lead up to the birth. There were 4 in depth sessions which were really appreciated and learned tons during. It alleviated some nervousness around giving birth. During the birth, she came over just before the baby was born at the hospital and gave me a massage and really helped advocate for my wishes as predefined in the birth plan (which she helped me develop). After the baby was born, we had a few additional sessions with her. She brought over bone broth, did a baby massage, and really made the day special for me with a tray of yummy treats. Additionally, she did a closing of the bones ceremony. It's really when i realized that in becoming a mom I went through a transition and a change that was more than I really understood pre-birth. I remain super grateful to Rebecca for the wonderful care she provided me during our time together. Thank you for all the training and education prior to the birth and in taking care of me post partum. I wished I had more time with her!

As first-time parents, we were nervous and unsure about many aspects of caring for a newborn, but Queenie’s guidance and steady, reassuring presence made everything feel manageable from the very beginning. She provided hands-on support with newborn care, including soothing the baby, helping us understand feeding cues, and offering practical advice on daily routines and sleep. During nighttime care, Queenie was calm, attentive, and highly responsive, which allowed us to get much-needed rest while knowing our baby was in capable hands. She always took the time to explain what she was doing and why, helping us build confidence as new parents. Queenie was also very supportive during the postpartum recovery period. Her thoughtful care, emotional reassurance, and calm demeanor helped create a peaceful environment and greatly eased our anxiety. With her support, we were able to rest, recover, and feel more confident each day. We are deeply grateful for Queenie’s dedication, professionalism, and genuine compassion, and we truly feel fortunate to have had her as our doula.

My journey started in the year 2000 in my hometown of Washington, DC. In 2015. Since then, I’ve supported a diverse clientele in New York City and now Cali. My philosophy: Mothers deserve to be respected, heard and nurtured doing this major transition in life to becoming a mom, whether it’s for the first time or the 8th time! I truly believe It takes a village to raise a family which is what led me to my purpose, heart-centered work of supporting mothers & families. It's an honor to walk the path of mothering with women as they navigate the many options we have today. I believe every birthing person should have the right to a trauma free birth experience, where their beliefs, values and goals are heard and respected. Birthing bodies are powerful. My goal as a doula is to remind you of the power you hold. I have worked in the medical field for 13 years as a Certified Medical Assistant, Lead Medical Assistant Instructor, recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and gained Certification as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am a very motivated and determined person. As a dedicated mother and proud African American woman, my heart is deeply rooted in the wellbeing of our community. The glaring disparities in maternal health that disproportionately affect women of color are not just statistics to me; they are urgent calls to action that resonate with my own experiences and those of my loved ones. I am committed to leveraging my knowledge, resources, and voice to initiate and support sustainable changes within the healthcare system. My goal is to ensure that equitable, high-quality maternal care is not a privilege, but a standard afforded to all mothers, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Through community outreach, advocacy, and education, I strive to contribute to a world where maternal mortality in underserved communities is not a grim expectation but a rare exception. My mission is to fight for a future where every mother’s life is given the value it unequivocally deserves.

Hi, my name is Katelyn, and I’m a certified Full-Spectrum doula. I have experience supporting families through VBAC, high-risk pregnancies, and IVF journeys. I believe that every birth story is unique, and my role is to provide steady, compassionate support—emotionally, physically, and informationally—through each step of the process. My background includes working closely with clients navigating complex or medically supported births, and I’m deeply committed to creating a calm, empowering space where families feel safe, heard, and in control of their choices. Whether you’re preparing for a vaginal birth after cesarean, managing a high-risk pregnancy, welcoming a baby after fertility treatment, or have a generally "normal" pregnancy, I’m here to walk beside you with care and confidence. It’s an honor to support families during such a transformative time, and I’m grateful to be part of this work.

Working with Katelyn was hands down the best decision we made for our birth and postpartum journey. She was truly irreplaceable, and I honestly know I wouldn’t have had such a successful, positive birth experience without her. From the start, Katelyn prepped both my husband and me so thoroughly that we felt confident going into labor. When a preeclampsia diagnosis completely threw our original expectations out the window, Katelyn didn't miss a beat. She immediately helped us pivot and had a brand-new birth plan ready, guiding us through every shift with calm, compassionate expertise. Her care didn't stop in the delivery room, either. As someone navigating postpartum anxiety, Katelyn was an absolute lifeline. She helped us ease into newborn sleep schedules, patiently answered our endless questions, and gave us so much peace of mind during those vulnerable early weeks. If you are looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, adaptable, and deeply supportive, hire Katelyn immediately. We are forever grateful for her!
