Choosing a doula is about finding someone you feel safe with, supported by, and truly listened to. I believe every family deserves to feel respected, informed, and cared for during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My goal is to create a calm, steady presence so parents can focus on welcoming their baby with confidence. I am a DONA Certified birth and postpartum doula, a Lactation Specialist, and VBAC certified. I also have training in techniques such as Spinning Babies, the Miles Circuit, and a variety of labor positions and comfort measures that can help support progress and reduce discomfort during labor. My role during birth is to help create a calm environment, offer practical comfort techniques, and support both the birthing person and their partner so they feel informed and empowered throughout the experience. After birth, my focus shifts to helping families rest, recover, and adjust to life with their new baby. Postpartum support can include newborn care guidance, feeding support, emotional encouragement, and helping parents find their rhythm during those early weeks. Every family is different, and I meet people where they are and support them in the ways that feel most helpful to them. I proudly accept Medicaid as well as private pay so that more families can access doula support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Supporting families during this time is truly meaningful work to me, and I feel honored to be invited into such an important moment in people’s lives. When I am not working with families, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and visiting the beach where I love collecting rocks along the shore.

I have nothing but great things to say about Debra! I was her client during 2024, and had my son in November 2024. I never hired a doula with my oldest so the process was as new to me and I wasn't sure what to expect, but Debra met me where I was at and guided me through the process so it was effortless. She was always available either by text or call and always checked in on me and made sure that I had any information and support I may need! I'm not in contact with my mother so Debra, being and mother and grandmother herself brought the motherly vibes which looking back is something I personally preferred Vs having a doula around my age. She actively listened to my preferences surrounding my birth experience and when the time came she was both respectful and thoughtful of my wishes. She advocated for things I didn't want in the delivery room for me while I was deep in labor. If you want a kind, caring, compassionate, reliable, and loving doula please don't think twice about hiring Debra you will not regret it!

Jayce is amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable about all things birth-related and also shared a lot of wonderful resources to help with things like prepping my body for labor and also lactation support. Once we decided to work with her, she made two visits to our home to create a birth plan and one postpartum visit as well. We were so happy to have her and strongly recommend her!

— Katelyn Hoisington, review of Jayce Borowski August 2026

Jayce was my saving grace during my labor with my second child. My birth experience would have been a lot different if it hadn’t been for her. Jayce stepped in when my doula was unable to make it to the hospital for my birth. I was definitely wary of having a doula I had never met step in but Jayce was incredible. I unfortunately needed to be put on a magnesium drip for high blood pressure which bound me to the bed. Jayce showed up just as they had finished setting it up. I felt so defeated that I wasn’t going to be able to have the birth experience that I wanted. That I wouldn’t be able to move through my labor. Jayce helped me work through a ton of positions I could do from the bed and kept me moving which kept my labor progressing. She helped to keep things progressing by pressing natural pressure points. She helped with natural pain relief with counter pressure on my hips and back. She helped me to feel confident in my decisions when nurses and doctors pushed for further interventions. It’s very likely my labor could have ended very differently had Jayce not been there. Because she was I was able to birth my daughter without epidural while on pitocin. I cannot recommend Jayce enough. She’s so kind and brought such a calming presence to my otherwise stressful hospital experience. Thank you again Jayce for being exactly what I needed during one of the most difficult experiences of my life 🩷😊

— Jacqueline Mallia, review of Jayce Borowski August 2026

I cannot recommend Jayce highly enough! From the moment we met, she was supportive, open-minded, and truly focused on helping me have the birth experience I wanted. Before birth, we met twice to discuss my preferences and create a birth plan. Those meetings were incredibly helpful and Jayce shared so many practical tips, tricks, and insights that helped me feel more prepared and confident going into labor. Even though my labor moved faster than I expected, Jayce got to the hospital promptly and immediately jumped in to support me through my unmedicated birth. Her calm presence, encouragement, and guidance made such a difference during an intense and exciting experience. More than just a doula, she felt like a true friend by my side throughout labor. After delivery, she went above and beyond by taking photos for our family, staying to make sure I was doing well, and helping ensure breastfeeding was getting off to a good start. I never felt rushed or unsupported. Jayce genuinely cares about the families she works with and it shows in everything she does. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and an incredible source of support before, during, and after birth. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a doula and I would choose her again in a heartbeat for any future pregnancies and births!
