About me

I’m Emily, a former teacher turned doula, finding it to be the perfect blend of my passions for supporting and caring for people, and my drive to make the parenthood journey more welcoming. Having two kids of my own, I understand just how much of a rollercoaster it is to have a child. Whether it is your first or any subsequent addition, the amount of uncertainty seemingly never ceases to remain. After enduring two high-risk pregnancies, I found how difficult it was to transition my thinking from the pregnancy journey to the postpartum journey. Even after this time, I still find sporadic difficulties with the multitude of facets of postpartum life. Understanding my own personal experiences, it is my ultimate passion to help make this transition as exciting as possible and to allow you and your family to enjoy this new phase as much as possible. With extensive personal experience and deep roots in the mental health field, I will provide you with the physical, mental, and emotional support you need to ease the nerves about the steps ahead. I look forward to meeting you where you are in your journey and being the support to help make this journey all the more exciting.
