Hi! I’m Erica — I am a certified doula, Prenatal Bonding (BA) Facilitator, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Hypnobirthing Educator, and doula trainer with 20 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I’m a Certified Birth and Ayurveda Postpartum Doula, Certified Childbirth Educator, with additional credentials in Waterbirth. At Nurture, our collaborative care team also provides elective 3D/4D ultrasounds, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, prenatal and postpartum massage, prenatal and mom–baby yoga, and lactation counseling, creating a truly comprehensive and nurturing environment for families at every stage of the journey. I’ve had the privilege of serving over 1,000 families across Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky since 2006, providing evidence-based, heart-centered care that honors both the science and the sacredness of birth. My professional memberships include CAPPA, Birth Arts International, DONA International, and the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH). In addition to birth and postpartum support, I offer Hypnobirthing classes, prenatal bonding sessions, and mentorship for new doulas throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky. My approach blends modern mind–body tools with deep emotional attunement, helping families prepare for birth with confidence, calm, and connection. While I’ve also served in leadership roles with the Doula Advisory Group for the Ohio Board of Nursing, the Cincinnati Area Doula Society, the Buckeye Birth Coalition, and the Dayton Area Labor Support, my true passion is walking alongside families—creating space for trust, growth, and empowerment during one of life’s most transformative seasons. Erica and I met at the beginning of my second trimester during my search for a doula. I knew immediately after our first meeting that she was the doula for me. Erica has many years of experience and has a really calming spirit. I shared with her my “calling” to have a natural birth and she was so supportive of my goals. She taught me how to use hypnobirthing techniques during the 6 months prior to my son being born. She also helped me to find resources and learn about my options as well as what questions to ask my doctor. I had an amazing birth experience and believe I was able to achieve a hypnobirth. Erica is unequivocally the best doula in the greater Cincinnati area. You won’t go wrong if you choose her! ❤️

When my husband and I found out that we were pregnant we knew right away that we wanted to deliver 100% natural, but the reality of that was a bit overwhelming. Through lots of research I decided that hypnobirthing was going to be the route I wanted to take in order to prepare my mind and body for the labor and delivery. That is where Nurture came in. We were lucky enough to find their website the day before the next hypnobirthing session started with Erica at Nurture and signed up immediately. Throughout the class my husband and I gained so much knowledge and confidence thanks to Erica. Her expertise shined through when speaking about all things baby! We knew right away that we wanted her to be apart of our birth. Soon after the class ended we signed up for Nurture’s full doula services. The immediate support that we felt was amazing. From the initial introduction meeting to the the weekly prenatal zoom calls to the weekly guided meditations…Erica and her team were there to answer any questions we had and support us through all twists and turns that our pregnancy brought with zero judgment. The day came for our little one to make his appearance and we were blessed to have Erica join us for our birth. I truly believe that her presence, expertise and guidance along side all the tools that I had learned and practiced from her hypnobirthing class helped me have the most incredible birth. We were able to deliver 100% natural with zero medical intervention and have the calm and meaningful birth I have always wanted. I cannot thank Erica and Nurture enough. I only wish I had found them sooner! Anyone who is pregnant NEEDS Nurture in their life. There is so much support available to you there. 💕
