The cost of a night nanny in Fort Collins, CO can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Fort Collins, CO, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Marissa Nelson

Packages from $120 · $50/hr

Hello, my name is Marissa and I'm honored to meet you. I am fascinated by the innate, primitive, and beautiful ability of our bodies to create new life. A hodgepodge of things led me to becoming a certified birth doula and yoga instructor. The two most influential being the births of my own babes. Those close to me would say I have a unique ability to calm a situation, hold a positive space, and intuitively allow things to be. These qualities made sense as a Doula. Additionally, yoga is a big part of my life (a lifestyle, I'd say...) and was immensely helpful through my pregnancies. That's why I offer a holistic approach with prenatal yoga to prepare your mind/body/spirit for an optimal birth. As an LGBTQIA+ doula, I understand that families can be built in many different ways. All that matters is that when a family is created, it happens on a foundation of love, support, trust, and safety. For birthing people, my intention is to support you tenaciously in having the most empowering, transformative, and safe birthing experience as possible. We are not meant to birth alone. As human beings bringing new human beings into the world, it is pivotal to feel affirmed and validated during our most vulnerable and authentic moments. I want you to look back on your birth experience and feel triumphant! No matter what you’ve been through in the past, or what you are envisioning currently, I am here to 100% support your goals and help them come to fruition. For those not birthing and creating a family in a different way, my intention is to support you through all aspects of your unique experience; Planning, transitioning, bringing baby home, etc. I can offer resources and referrals for all of your family's needs. More importantly I can provide Empathy, Compassion, and Presence.

We hired Marissa to be our birth doula and we couldn't be happier with that choice. She visited us couple of times before the due date and she was with us throughout labor and delivery and also saw us a couple of times after the birth of our son. Having her with us in the delivery room was very helpful as she coached me through the contractions consistently. She also supported and cheered us on during difficult times and helped us make the right choices for our labor and delivery. She is really sweet and we connected with her instantly since day 1. We highly recommend her.

Stephanie brings it! She makes the entire pregnancy, birth & postpartum experience so special and sacred. She is a master ceremonialist and always, I mean always, has flowers and magical honey. You will be so doted upon: from your first visit together; to your mother blessing ceremony; all the birth waves; to mother roasting, belly wraps, and yummy nourishing broths; to an intuitive placental reading; to expert breastfeeding support; to the final bittersweet closing ceremony. She will make your birth space cavelike and sparkly with fairy lights, candles, affirmations, a wonderful fan, and flowers. She will guide you through the waves and challenges, keeping you grounded and cracking jokes for levity. She's also a mama so she deeply understands what her clients are going through. All I can say is Dou-la-la!

Through her experience as a nanny, she fell in love with helping families through the journey of parenthood. She witnessed firsthand how chaotic life can be through pregnancy and after birth. She became a doula to help families navigate the stresses of new parenthood and enjoy their lives together with their new baby. Marie aims to guide families through the entire journey into parenthood with a gentle, holistic approach. She specializes in hands-on education, physical and emotional support, feeding assistance, sleep training, cooking, and household organization. Her goal is to nurture parents in this vulnerable and intimate time, and empower them to care for their new child with confidence. A full fridge, clean home, and person to talk to can make all the difference! She also provides antepartum support to assist with birth planning, getting ready for baby, and any additional needs in the final trimester of pregnancy. Beyond educational, physical and organizational support, there is a strong focus on emotional and mental health when working with Marie. She has a trauma-informed and inclusive approach; becoming a parent is a huge shift in identity and deserves to be treated with immense care and respect. I can't say enough wonderful things about Marie. She was a lifesaver for our family during the early postpartum days with my daughter. The nights Marie would come and help were what my husband and I most looked forward to during the week because we knew we'd have trusted support and that we would get much needed sleep. She was very flexible with her schedule and was always able to work with us to find the best timing for her to come help with overnights. Marie was a loving and confident doula and I always knew my daughter was in good hands with her. Marie was always open to having conversations with me and workshopping ways to improve naps, nighttime sleep, bottle feeding, pumping, etc. with me and I don't know that I would have been able to do things as well without her. In my struggle with postpartum anxiety and depression, nights were tough for me because I often felt a debilitating loneliness when I was feeding my daughter or up pumping. I cherish the nights we had with Marie because she helped take that loneliness away and it made me more confident as a mother. She is the absolute best and I highly recommend her!

Hello! I am a DONA International certified postpartum doula who has lived in Colorado since 2010. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Health Education, as well as a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have extensive experience supporting, educating, and nurturing families in different childcare capacities for the last 16 years. I have a penchant for postpartum and newborn care and am passionate about supporting families as they transition into parenthood being it with their firstborn or fourth! I always strive to meet families' needs with ease, flexibility, and warmth. On top of newborn and postpartum support I also can help as a Sibling Doula with older sibling childcare while parents welcome their newest additions to their family. My own experiences with pregnancy, birth, pregnancy loss and motherhood are what inspired me to embark on the journey of supporting others navigating their perinatal experience. I have trained with and am a member of The Institute of Birth, Breath and Death and can provide trauma informed bereavement and loss support. Holding space for others who are walking the path of grief during the most sensitive times is a skill that I hold dear to my heart. For my own wellness I love doing yoga, camping in our popup with my family, escaping to the beach, baking, and you can always find me curled up in a good book. I look forward to learning more about your family's needs!

Alyssa is absolutely amazing! Her kindness and warmth immediately put me at ease, and her expertise with babies made me feel so secure and comfortable, whether during daytime hours or overnight shifts. Beyond being incredibly reliable in general, she has a remarkable ability to "take charge" the moment she walks through the door, and instinctively jumps in to handle things without me needing to ask. On top of all that, she even helped with meal prep and cooking, and the results were always so delicious--having homemade meals during a time when I was physically unable to cook was such a gift. Her support just exceeded my expectations and hopes in every way possible. All in all, I can’t recommend Alyssa highly enough. She was an absolute lifesaver during a crucial time, and helped make it both less stressful and more joyful!

I cannot say enough about my doula, Molly. She supported me before and after we learned of our son Waylon’s passing with incredible compassion, patience, and strength. From the very beginning, she was there every single moment I needed her, making sure I never felt alone. Molly helped create the birth space I envisioned, holding it with such care and intention. She made sure everything flowed smoothly and aligned beautifully with my wishes, even in the most heartbreaking of circumstances. Her presence brought comfort, safety, and love in a time that could have felt unbearably heavy. I will always be grateful to Molly for walking alongside me in such a sacred and difficult moment of my life. She is truly a gift to any family she supports.
