Since then, I've welcomed six children through home births, including five water births, and have continued to deepen my knowledge of pregnancy, birth physiology, and natural comfort measures. Hi my name is Jessica! I live in Denver on our family farm with my husband and 2 kids. I’ve been passionate about pregnancy and childbirth since I can remember. I originally trained as a birth doula in 2011, gained some experience and then we started our own family. The doula lifestyle wasn’t something that worked for us while my babies were small. I took about 10 years off from birth work (besides doing births for family) until 2023 when I felt called back to birth work, and I re-trained and certified. I deeply enjoy getting to know my clients and assisting with getting them confident and ready for their birth. I hope to provide my clients with everything they need to make informed decisions that are right for them, feeling confident to advocate for themselves and bringing a calming presence into their birth space, whether that’s at home, at the birth center or a hospital.

After a beautiful and empowering first birth, although it didn't go according to my original vision, a fire was lit to come alongside families in their own birth journeys. I've worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehab, and as a wellness coach in a hospital setting. I was in full-time ministry, working with college students and teenagers. In that capacity, I learned to meet people where they're at, to comfort and to “hold space” for someone. These experiences brought me to a new understanding of wholeness - body, mind and spirit. This set me up perfectly to team up alongside women in their birth journeys - one of the most life-changing events we can experience!
