Hi, I'm Eleanor Trenary. I believe that all expectant parents deserve an empowered birthing experience. No matter how you give birth, you should feel like you understand your options and are respected, supported, and cared for throughout your birthing journey. I am a mom with a lifelong passion for reproductive rights and gender equity, and have enjoyed being an advocate in many different settings. As my friends started having kids, and I went through my own pregnancy and birthing journey, I realized the powerful role that doulas play and the benefit of having continuous support for birthing people and their partners. I started reading and learning more about birth, taking childbirth education classes, and eventually completed full Doula and Lactation training with Community Aware Birthworker. When I’m not doula-ing, you can find me hiking, drinking tea, knitting, and soaking up snuggles with my husband and son. My first career is in public policy and I currently work as an environmental lobbyist. I graduated from Macalester College and have a Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University.

I am 21 years old and I am also married with 2 wonderful children! I had a doula for my first birth and I've never felt so secure. I had someone who had me, my boundaries and wants in mind. I never knew what i wanted to do as a career and after that whole experience I knew exactly what i wanted to do. Birth is such a vulnerable process and emotions are high. My goal as a Doula is to remind mothers that they are powerful and courageous! I love the feeling when i see mothers realize they are meant for this and they can do it with out a doubt!!<3

I have been professionally trained by Dr. Robin Elise Weiss through DONA International and have been working with babies and in childcare for 5+ years. I am so excited to begin this incredible journey with you. I have always been passionate about working with families and babies in whatever capacity I could, and I aspire to be a midwife and eventually own/run a birth center focusing on holistic care. I strongly believe that birth is a beautiful, natural process that a woman’s body was made to do and that you, as the birthing person, are wholly capable of bringing your baby into the world. So, my goal is to support you in doing that however you may need! I have always been told that I have a very calming presence, even by strangers and those who don’t know I am in birth work, and I plan to bring that to every birth I attend, along with my active listening skills, assurance, and knowledge. This is a quote that has stuck with me as I explore my career path. Becoming a doula is something I did not follow through with until the murder of George Floyd. Seeing the striking images of pregnant Black mothers protesting around the country ignited the fire in me to finally complete my training to become a certified perinatal educator - meaning I can provide childbirth education, prenatal support, labor and delivery support, lactation support, and newborn care support. But my calling to birth work started on the day I was born with my mother being hospitalized for 2 months postpartum from an avoidable mistake during an emergency c-section. I value empathy, collaboration, and being open minded. As a doula, I am intentional about serving my clients in a way that supports self-empowerment, so they feel they have all the information they feel they need to make the best decision for them and their baby/babies. I do not shy away from vulnerability, and I believe this allows me to have relationships with my clients built on trust.

Jerriah Marie (She/Her)… is a wellness practitioner, birth worker, and medicine wombman located in the twin cities. When she is not serving families in the birth space you can find her writing poetry, whipping up herbal remedies in her kitchen, and sharing cuddles with her daughter Leilani. Her passion for birth work began at age 5. After witness her first birth, she knew that being a birthworker was her mission. As a young adult Jerriah was always deeply moved by birth and found her way supporting family members and friends during their labor. It wasn't until 2020, after the birth of her daughter, that this spark reignited back into her life and she dove deep into the meaningful work that she now does as a birth worker. "I believe that Birth is sacred, and should be handled with intention. As a birth worker my approach is designed around assisting you in bringing your birth intentions to life, whatever that may look like for you and your family. Hi there! I’m Megan (she/her). I’m so glad you’re considering doula support for your or your partner’s upcoming birth. I believe all parents deserve judgement-free, evidence-based support during their labor, birth and postpartum. My journey to fully birth obsessed began during my first pregnancy. I needed to know all the things and hear all the stories. I quickly learned that many birthing people, especially those in marginalized communities, do not receive the care they deserve during their journey to and through parenthood. This is when I discovered doulas and the support they provide. So I hired my doula, had two supported and empowering in-hospital birth experiences and went on my way as a mom of two, working a typical 9-5 in corporate marketing— never quite shaking a new found desire to make a difference in the birth community. Fast forward a few years, endless heart-to-hearts with my family and friends about making a change and I finally enrolled in a doula training. I truly believe this is what I’m meant to do and I’m so glad to have found my way here. My goal as a birth and postpartum doula is to empower birthing people and their partners through judgment-free and evidence-based support. When I’m not doula-ing, I’m usually spending time with my husband, our two daughters and two elder pups. Before parenthood and a pandemic hit, you could find us skiing, hiking, trying new restaurants, taking on a house project we probably should have left to professionals or binging our favorite shows. Now, you’re more likely to find us at a local park, swimming pool or in our backyard. A meaningful conversation over a cup of coffee or glass of wine is the way to my heart. After my own challenging and disheartening labor experience with my first son in 2019, I felt called to make a difference in the lives of others who may face similar challenges. For almost six years, I’ve been advocating for our community, working to ensure that families receive the care, knowledge, and support they deserve. In May 2023, I became a certified Perinatal Educator through Commonsense Childbirth, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving many families. I take a holistic approach to perinatal education, focusing not just on the physical aspects of pregnancy and birth, but also on mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I find it perfectly intersects science and data, bodywork and movement, direct advocacy, and human connection. I love to laugh and cry with you, holding space for your emotions and experiences. I enjoy sharing my knowledge while being curious about everything I don’t know. After completing a B.S. at the University of Minnesota and a stint living in France, I started working as a consultant for our local utility companies, implementing an energy efficiency program for new home construction. By this time I was deep into a yoga practice and took a yoga teacher training at Yess Yoga in 2018. I learned so much and it exposed me to many holistic practices within the 8 limbs of yoga. Meanwhile, my all-female consulting team started expecting. They would come to the office with so much new information and questions after doctor/midwife appointments, not to mention what everyone was saying on the internet! I was so curious about it all! I discovered what a doula was and that people did it as a profession. Not long after I am happy to say I found a doula training and haven’t looked back.

Hi! I'm Bria. I'm a wife and a mama to three little humans, foodie, traveler, and outdoors-lover. I'm also a birth doula and Lamaze childbirth educator. My interest in birth work began after my second baby was born. My passion is in supporting people in their journey to parenthood. Everyone wants to hold the baby.... I'm here to hold the parent[s]! After hearing countless testimonies from birthing people who wish they'd known more before giving birth, I decided to become a doula. I am a South Minneapolis-based birth doula and massage therapist. I have been a bodyworker for eight years, and co-own Total Solace Massage in Uptown, Minneapolis. I have attended trainings by DONA (2018) and Community Aware Birthworker (2024). My approach to birth is open-minded. I believe my role is to help you have the right experience for you, to make sure you know what options you have, and then help you navigate whatever is in the cards. Regardless of your birthing wishes, I bring my grounded, dedicated presence to my clients before, during and after the birthing time. I’m Paige and I’m a mom of 3. I spent most of my young adult life working with people with developmental disabilities. After that, I received my Sign Language Interpreting degree from Saint Paul College and worked with Deaf/Hard of Hearing folks before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have spent the last several years raising my kids. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s my favorite job yet! Now it’s time for me to do what I really love: postpartum work! I have always been passionate about families, pregnancy, birth, babies, and postpartum. Parents deserve so much more support and education as they are growing their families. Many people tend to focus only on pregnancy and preparing for birth, but they don’t spend time preparing for postpartum. My goal is to help families be more prepared and supported for all that comes when adding a new baby to the family. I want families to have a smoother and more peaceful postpartum experience. I am based out of South Saint Paul, Minnesota and am currently serving the greater Twin Cities area.
