My name is Mignon Fields. I am a local doula here in Houston, Tx. I specialize specialize in birth and postpartum overnight services. I was always drawn to birth but after having my own child and hearing about doulas a few times I finally knew who I was. This is where my heart blooms with love. I flourish in service to others. I thrive in high stress scenarios and helping people through personal experience and the wisdom I have gained throughout my own process, prenatally and postpartum is my goal. I have attended thirteen births and assisted ten families during their postpartum season thus far. I am here for All no matter what your situation may be.

I have been a birth worker for 8 years and have 15 years of infant care experience as a professional nanny, postpartum doula, and educator. I am a mom of 4 crazy lovable kiddos (2015, 2017, 2021, and 2023) and I have personally experienced hospital birth and out of hospital birth. It was the care of 2 volunteer doulas during my first birth who helped drive my desire to become a birth worker. I am passionate about education as an incredible tool to build confidence and help birth outcomes. I believe everyone should have access to the highest level of education and care during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. This is driven by my belief that every person is born with inherent dignity, value, and worth and that women’s bodies are strong and beautifully made to birth their baby. When I am not teaching childbirth education or processing a placenta, I enjoy servicing at my church and all things musical theatre and fantasy.
