Hi there! I’m Katie, a photographer based in Louisville KY. As a mama myself I understand how important it is to document your growing family from bump to baby to child. I specialize in maternity, newborn, and family photography.

I combine skills from MD degree in the Dominican Republic, my communication skills from years as a Certified Medical Interpreter and My Doula Certification from DONA international and other various childbirth and postpartum birth related trainings. I have been practicing for more than 5 yrs here in Louisville KY where I live but I cover 100 mile (1.5hr) radius covering Lexington and Cincinnati and southern parts of Indiana. I want to make sure you have the support you need during pregnancy birth and during those first weeks of newborn life. I support all birthing locations home hospital and birth centers. I work with moms having planned c-section to VBAC and multiples first time moms those wanting a water birth or an epidural I have coached families through this journey and no 2 births are ever the same it’s such a special moment to be part of and to be chosen by families to support them. You can find me sipping coffee in a local shop, my head stuffed in a book, hiking and camping throughout the weekends, running, and talking with everyone and anyone about all things birth. Certified through A Woman Who Serves Doula Services (AWWS), I seek to empower women to see their true potential and beauty during pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I have been blessed to walk with so many women throughout the last 3 years! I am passionate about how our bodies are so intentionally designed to reflect what we are capable of.
